From My Couch To A 5K... And Beyond!

Honestly, my abs are shaped nicely on their own. I know, I know... please don't hate me! I've been doing the (many!) different crunches at boot camp, but other than that, I don't really work on it. The biggest part of it for me was getting rid of the fat that sat on top of them!

So did you get James into working out or was he always doing crazy things like boot camp at 5:00am??
 
Wow, you look fantastic! How friggin tall are you? I'm only 15lbs heavier and I sure as hell don't look that good!

James was not interested in it until he saw my success. Boot camp was completely his idea (and I'm very proud of him for that!), but I don't think it would have happened without my influence. I never pushed him into anything, but I think he wanted to make the change after seeing me accomplish so much. He's been doing so good now! He's lost 16 pounds, and he is having to buy new shorts! :D

OH MY GOD!!! You look so damn amazing! More work to do, my ass. You look perfect, hun!!! I am so excited AND very jealous. I look like a lump of lard in my bikini, especially compared to you. I am so jealous that I don't even know if I can talk to you any more. LOL!

That is so awesome about James losing 16lbs. Your such good motivation. I can't blame him for wanting to get on the wagon after being around you all the time :)

Good morning, everyone! I can't thank all of you enough for all the compliments on the bikini picture. You really have no idea how much it means to me. I still struggle occasionally with my own self image, so all of your love helps me soooo much! A special shout-out to brunettegoddess who has PMed me with the kindest words ever spoken!

Onto the new...

Yesterday, James said, "I have a surprise for you tomorrow!"

Well, it's tomorrow, and I can't wait!!!

The only clues I have received from him are:

1. Look presentable (duh!).
2. I have to bring my camera.
3. We have to fill the car (that isn't low) with gas.
4. I have to eat a "light" lunch.
5. We're leaving at 1:00.

I am sooo stumped! And sooo excited!

He's never planned a spontaneous event for me before!
 
Hmm... Road trip of some kind to some destination that is scenic and has not so healthy food. Let us know.
 
WELL???? What was the surprise??? I'm dying to know and it wasn't even my surprise!

(Side note, I love that the banner on james's myspace is "James is thinking Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like mine?" Its totally cute.)

Sorry for the delay! It's been a really busy weekend! Today we spent all day on the road to go to a wedding.

Yesterday my surprise was great! He was so incredibly sweet all day... actually, he has been incredibly sweet lately all together.

When we were on the road he handed me a pair of tickets to a Round Rock Express game! We love going to their games! They are the Triple A team for the Astros, so you never know who you will get to see! I have seen Roger Clemens pitch, Hunter Pence hit a homerun, Luke Scott play well, and Brandon Backe pitch, amongst others. I noticed the game didn't start until 7:00, but we left at 1:00... he said that I could spend the whole day shopping!!!! We walked around the outlet mall and went to a shopping center. He spoiled me rotten, and it was so much fun!!! We also ate at this amazing seafood place.

On a side note, now that he has lost weight and can comfortably fit into smaller sizes, he seems to enjoy clothes shopping a whole lot more now!! :D

It was such a great day!

You should totally reciprocate... a little well-rehearsed strip tease should do the trick :p !!!
 
James and I made our Killeen Daily Herald debut! :D

Last week a reporter showed up to our boot camp and snapped a few shots. The story is in the "Wellness" section of today's paper!

I'm in the white tank top, looking at April (the trainer) like "You want me to do that?!" and James is a little to the right - the only man!

See! We do go to boot camp! Lol! :D
