Thanks! :D

I have the caramel delight and honey nut clusters cereals.

I have gone 2 days in a row, so I think it's helping!

YES!

:)

Thank you! I need to hear that! I need to remind myself to take baby steps! :)

For sure the 25 minute run is amazing already! It's good that you are sticking with the C-5K plan, I'm sure it will help keep you fit to run for longer. How many weeks does the whole plan go for?

163 is a LOW new low isn't it? - very very nice!

cha-ching !! 163 !!

Black and Gold w00t for you !!

Kudos for entering the race, Tyly :)

What's this thing 'running' you speak of ?? huh ?? huh ??

Great deff..will get that and try it out, i need more fiber!!! I hope your having a great week so far :)

I agree that those cereals sound very yummy.

Hooray for your much wanted and anticipated BMs!!!!

Come to think of it, I probably need to start watching my fiber intake as well. I don't really think that I "go" as much as I used to.....

Good luck on your runs. I'm still in the middle of week 2 for the C25K. I want to get into Week 3 asap.

have a great day:)

Hey Tyly,

How's the running going?
Just thought I'd recommend this site to you: you can use it to keep track of the distances you run.

I started a "Couch-to-5K" program through the old Cool Running site, back in January 2006. Back then, I was so fat (216 pounds) a 1/4 mile run left me huffing and puffing.
Today I'm 140 pounds and run 1/2 marathons and am training for my first full marathon.
I was 47 when I started and am 49 now...if I could do it, you can do it. Good luck with your training and enjoy your 5K, you'll do just fine. :)

I'm hijacking your diary, Tyly, to give Beryl a giant pat on the back (though that's a bit light for the congratulations deserved). Amazing job Beryl...that is incredible! Check out the "Couch to 5K Club" thread that Photocrazed started for those of us beginning the program. We'd love to hear your experiences and your advice. You are definitely an inspiration!

Tyly- Just wanted to point out that if you have't "gone" in three days, that could account for the scale not budging at all. Maybe you're just full of .... ;)

Tyly, 163 is AWESOME!!!! Wow, girl. I'm so excited for you! :hurray:

I started week 3 of the C25K program today and had to cut down the 3 min runs to 6.3mph because it was just way too much for me to go faster this being the first time and all. I think I might try 6.5 next time, but not sure.

HOpe you are having a fantastic day and having better weather now.

As long as I can hold on to the 163, I will be a happy, happy woman!

The plan is 9 weeks.

Hehe! I love black and gold w00ts! :D

Those sound delicious!

Awesome work on the new low, and all the work you've put in to the run.

Thanks handsome! I'm so glad you popped in!

Thanks! :) I hope you enjoy them!

I agree that those cereals sound very yummy.

They really aren't bad, and I have been "going" more, so that's a great sign! Thanks for stopping by, love! :)

I LOVED reading that! It gives me hope of what can come out of completing this program! Thank you so much for the link and the inspiration!

No problem! Hijack all you want! Her progress is so inspirational for the rest of us!!

Your speeds are awesome! I can only hope to one day move up to faster running! I'm sticking with it, though. One run at a time, right? :)

I just got my Nike+ stuff in the mail, and I LOVE it! I ran with it today, and all the things it can do amazes me!

We are leaving for spring break this Saturday to visit James' & my families. You know what's funny? I have an entire Wal Mart bag filled with healthy, pre-portioned foods and snacks to take with me! :D

That is great!! I dunno about funny ... wise move I reckon!

What's in it? :D

The Wal Mart bag has almonds, my Fiber bars, my Fiber cereals, raisins, 100 calorie popcorn for movie nights, and that's all I can remember for now. I'm too lazy to get up and look! :D

HOLY FREAKIN' COW!

So today was my weigh in, and I am ELATED!

Last week I didn't lose anything, but I was also on my period and hadn't "gone" in 3 days.

I have been exercising alot thanks to the challenge, and I have been eating right. Plus, I "went" this morning before my weigh in, and the scale rewarded me with...

161.2!!!

OH MY GOSH!

Only 1.3 pounds until I break into the 150's!!!!

161.2 WOW...YAY...CONGRAT!!!!

OMG..girl..you go, you have worked so hard!!! I hope you have anyther great week :)
