Whenever I go to Oakland or Sactown, I'm always half expecting my car to get stolen. I pretty much prepare myself for the worst every time I walk out of whatever friend's house I'm staying to see it missing. Or the window knocked out. So far, so good.

After the crazy events of last night, I gladly welcomed today.

His sweet, sweet grandma pretty much took care of everything. The insurance will cover it, minus the deductible, and she's going to pay the deductible. Sweet, sweet granny. We bought motion sensor lights to install over the garage, and lock lug nuts to put on his old and new tires to prevent this from ever happening again! I dare you criminals to try it again! Ok, I don't - just leave us alone!!

....so sorry it happened like that, we always talk and fear things like that with my bf, as he has his car with his prized possessions attached to it too....:(....but I'm glad, that you got it fixed.......:)!!!! :iagree:
 
Fuckin' criminals!!! I hate people who steal. It's one of my things I just cannot handle. I bet it was some asshole junkie... When I lived with my dad, we lived in a pretty nice, safe neighborhood... or so I thought. I had my window knocked out one night while my car was in the driveway and they stole my stereo... Not only did they steal the stereo, they used a screwdriver to get it out... They then proceeded to break and damage my ac vents/ controls, so I had to get that replaced too.... 1000 dollars in damage, over what, a 200 dollar stereo? So ridiculous. Lesson learned, I'm more aware now, at least I like to think... I don't drive that nice of a car and I don't live in that nice of a neighborhood anymore, so maybe I have the criminals assuming I don't have really anything that valuable to steal... which is probably true and I like them to think that way :)

And yes, his granny is the best!!! His mom was young when she had him, so they lived with his grandparents pretty much his whole life. They have raised him as their own (with his mom), and they are the most supportive, wonderful people! He's / We're very lucky to have them! :)

Sorry to hear about the thievery. I know it's harsh but I think these third world countries have some things figured out: you steal, you get your damn hand cut off. I'm sure that would decrease the crime rate here in the US. Lol! Lazy bastards.
 
Hi friends!


My sister got married this weekend, so I was busy fulfilling maid of honor duties all weekend long!

James starts new teacher orientation tomorrow morning! He's so excited! It's cute. :) I'm really excited for him, but I'm going to be lonely. Oh well... it will give me time to catch up on my house cleaning. Yuck. Or, I could catch up on WLF. :D
