From alpha testing to the QUERCUS 200

Great progress pics! It´s interesting how between the first two your face seems to have remained the same (but your waist improved so much in that period!), then in the third suddenly you´ve got a slim visage. And your waist has just disappeared from view under that shirt!

The difference is huge, Q. Be proudddd xo

Progress pics, yay!! I'm glad you've got the same shirt on, it makes the change really evident. Everything is hanging different, and that waist had shrunk dramatically. Looking forward to the next set of pics!

I love progress pics, and yours are great!! You can definitely see a big difference, Q. Your pets are adorable as well. :)

Thanks so much everyone! This place rocks and it's all because of all of you!

AM Run
2.0 miles
30 mins
157 bpm avg hr

HR was sky high for that distance. It was a real struggle today. I worked very hard but didn't get much for my efforts. A run is a run and I shouldn't complain.

283.8 this morning. My stomach woes (Again) resolved themselves this afternoon so that should help my run tomorrow. It will be a pm run as I have to work early. I'm on my phone for a few days so I won't be able to keep up with diarys as well. I hope everyone is doing great!

Uh oh. I get stomach issues all the time. They really hamper my workouts sometimes. Hope it clears up. :/

I'm guessing my stomach problems are related to processed foods. I did not have anything particularly spicy. I've incorporated prunes into the daily diet for the last 3 days and I haven't had problems during that time.

I worked from sun up until after sundown yesterday and did not get a run in. I drove and rode all day today and so I am back home and going to hit the gym for a run after work. I will be back on the scale tomorrow and hopefully there will be good news. I have eaten too much processed foods while on the road, but I've been at 2,300 calories each day. Tonight I can't have much dinner because I had way to much lunch, but I'm still full at 4PM so that shouldn't be a problem. hopefully that will make for a nice low weight in the morning, but it will be whatever it will be.

I found a nice javelina or collar peccary skull in south Texas. I found one before, but this one has all of the teeth including the large canines or "tusks" unlike the previous one.

I envy you your skull! Well the pig skull anyway. I´ve got a czech wild boar sitting on my book shelf waiting to be carved/decorated but the tusks are missing :( They make all the difference.

Sweet! Do you carve them? I would love to try that. I have so many skulls! I have 2 javelina skulls, but I pass up wild boar skulls all the time and I have just started pulling the tusks as there are so many here.

Last night's indoor track run
2.63 miles
29:41
163 BPM

A nice hard run with good results. Monday I ran 2 miles at 157 BPM which was awful.

This morning we did 40 minutes yoga. It was too soon to run again and the yoga really helped me after spending so much time driving and riding in a truck.

280.4 this morning for a new low.

1.6 pounds lower than my previous low of 282.0 on 11/12. -52.8 for the year and -23.8 since October 1st. I need 278.4 by Saturday to put me back on track for 2 pounds/week for the last 2 weeks, but I'm very pleased to have a new low.

280 is the transition point to class 1 obesity so that will be a good milestone.

274 will be 10% lost from my October 1st weight and a new adult low with one exception involving bad prescription drugs.

2,300 calories yesterday only because of a tiny dinner. I will make it to Thanksgiving at 2,300 or less cals a day and then it's right back to 2,300 or less the next day until Xmas eve. I will probably reassess my calories and activity levels at the end of the year. Hopefully I will be in the low 270s by years end.

266.1 pounds will be halftime for 199 266.4 is halftime for 200 (original goal).

Congrats on the new low! I´ve painted some smaller skulls (fox, rabbit) but since this one´s quite a bit bigger I´d like to try my hand at carving something like a Maori tattoo into it. No power tools so it´s a bit of a challenge.

Thanks LaMa! A dremel tool would be a big help.

Some of my skeletal stuff:

I have an entire otter skeleton.

Skulls:
turtles
skunk
deer
wild hog
javelina
feral dog
racoon
possum
armadillo
squirrel
rabbit
pelican (top bill and top of skull)
cardinal
small bird
horned lizard
miniature donkey
horse
cow
buffalo calf

I also have a beaver jaw, lots of deer antler sheds, a "hump" vertebra from a grown buffalo, and lots of other things I'm not thinking of.

Got any pics of your artwork? I'm trying to think of some indoor hobbies for the winter to keep my hands busy instead of eating, and there are only so many carburetors in the house to tear down and reassemble.

Do you and the wife do yoga together? If so, that's the cutest thing ever. I barely have room in my house to do yoga by myself. (Of course I'm just assuming you're doing yours at home.)
