A sincere thanks Vee!
V:So you're frustrated and sick of still being fat?
Q:YEP!
V:Good, you're right on track.
That helps a lot to hear. I can't wait for the 50 pound blur.
I will take you up on that offer I feel sure.
Oaks, I ran 4 days last week. Prior to the AM runs I was doing 3 runs a week. Before my knee injury it was 3-6 times a week. When I finally got to the point that I could run early this year I went 22 days straight (horrid idea). I doubt I'll go more than 5 runs a week while it's deer season. Rain kept me from having 5 days straight last week.
With the decrease in intensity of the AM runs the increase in frequency probably isn't getting me too much. I was running 2.5 - 2.65 miles a session indoors on a track and now it's 2-2.2 on the road. 8.4-10.5 miles/week (4-5x AM runs) up from 7.5-8.0 miles/week (3x PM indoor track runs) before. I know some of the reduced distance is dark road vs. lighted track, but I need to increase my distance to get the most out of it. I don't feel I am overdoing it. As a matter of fact I have a sneaking suspicion that this may evolve into an occasional AM + PM workout situation from time to time. I'll be much more likely to do strength training and yoga regularly if I don't have to chose between them or running.
It's going to be 31 degrees for tomorrow's run. I never warmup. I should, but I don't and below freezing isn't going to make that change.
