I've added a few new videos to my clip collection that I use for my running, so that's always exciting (for me) lol :p
 
AI'd find that exciting too haha. I'm actually considering getting an elliptical machine or something (they're not as expensive as a treadmill) so I can do that. I watch tv every night (going through Supernatural right now). I'd really love to be able to exercise and watch at the same time.

Feeling so awful right now physically :( Battling a really obnoxious cold. I mean I take vitamins every day, eat healthy (except Sunday), and exercise constantly.. so I guess when a bug hits me, it always has to be a whopper :\


Trying to keep up with my regimen, but it's tough when you feel like death. I've been chugging Nyquil, various pills, Advil, and popping cough drops and Cepacol like pez. Just sucks..


Weighed myself this morning and I was 197.8 :( I know I said this week would be better, but I didn't expect to feel this awful.


I'll do my best to get a loss. I'm restricting my calories big time right now, so maybe it'll serve to knock this cold out of me while also getting me low enough for a loss by Sunday.


I'm drinking so much water right now that I feel dizzy.. lol :[
 
AHang in there, Frogged. You're probably doing better than me lol...it seems like a lot of people are having a rough period right now.

Yeah, just gonna roll with it and expect an even better week next week. This cold of mine feels mostly out of my system, so I'm just gonna buckle down and focus.

AI think for me its the weather change....it has made my appetite crazy...I could eat non stop for days.....its so hard...but we will get through this crappy season and look awesome come next summer!! your doing great Frogged!! Yeah, I am feeling much better :)


After this recent gain, I'm even going to resist my usual 'Large Sicilian Pizza' today that my roommate and I usually get on Sundays. We're still getting one because he'd go through withdrawals without it, but I'm not going to have any :)


I still had a few bad things today (some chinese, sugary cereals, and a bit of ice cream), but hopefully I won't be up 10+ pounds of retention tomorrow and have a good start on a good loss this coming week :D

194 this morning, so the retention is coming off very quickly this week :) I was 198 yesterday morning.


I want to try and aim for 184ish by Sunday, so if I just stay focused, it might be possible. I'm just sick of not being under 185 for so long :\


Thanks parus, but as for resisting the pizza, I must admit that it wasn't so difficult considering I had a pint of Ben & Jerry's singing my name from the fridge :p It was a healthier flavor though - only 1000 calories as opposed to my favorite flavors that have ~1250. hah


It felt a LOT easier running on the treadmill without all that cheese and bread in my system. Normally, I'd eat like 2-3 pieces of pizza followed a few hours later by the ice cream, but I've always preferred sweets over anything else. My roommate and his gf gave me a bit of crap for not participating in the pie, but I stayed strong :) At one point, my roomie even came over with a plate full of pizza and literally almost shoved it in my face. lol, he's not very supportive of my regimen some days.


Well, with any luck, I'll be back in the 180's by Wednesday :)

hahaha..that made me chuckle..."healthier flavor...only 1000 calories." Damn Ben & Jerry's...why must it be so good?! lol!
 
heheeee! Well, my absolute favorite flavor is Cinnamon Buns :eek:


It's so good.. its ridiculous. But, it's one of the higher calorie versions of course.


I need to have my B&J's on Sunday, otherwise bad things could happen to those around me :p
 
Bit of a harebrained (and scary) moment last night :\


In an effort to see if I could really flush my body out and not fight tooth and nail for a loss this Sunday, I went and chugged water like nobody's business. The fact that my roommate always seems to enjoy cooking up delicious-smelling food at around 8/9pm (right around the time I'm most famished) didn't help either.. I friggin hate that too. He does it all the time :| Last night, he made some kind of chinese noodle soup with a few slices of leftover sicilian pizza on the side. ughh..


I thought maybe I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone and relieve these feelings of hunger along with flushing my system out.


I should've known better. I drank wayyy too much in a short amount of time. It was just shy of a gallon in about ~15 minutes or so. I was watching The Walking Dead and didn't really pay much attention to the time since I love that show, but I started drinking right at the beginning and, by the time I was done, the show wasn't even 1/3 over yet.


Awful doesn't begin to describe how I felt not long after. It started with a slight headache with a feeling of pressure on the back of my neck. I then made the mistake of looking up symptoms of drinking too much water and read things like 'brain swelling', 'kidney damage', 'circulatory system problems', etc etc. I got a tad freaked out when I started feeling worse and texted my one friend, telling her that if I died, she could have my house ;\


My roommate is studying to be a nurse too and I told him about how I was feeling. As is his usual comforting bedside manner, he said I was probably gonna die now... lol.


He asked how I could drink that much in that amount of time. It was easy actually, since I had no food in my stomach and my last meal was a fiber bar about 4 hours prior. So, yeah.. I was starving.


Of course he was just joking around with his "professional diagnosis", but it didn't make me feel any better. At the worst, I felt so dizzy and my head was just killing me.


Lesson learned - NEVER drink that much water in such a short amount of time. Just stupid :[


Oh, and I didn't lose any additional weight as a result, haha :\ Still hovering around the 194 mark as of this morning.. meh.
