Hi Flumes.
Are you Italian? I love Italian food! Language! Men! Mmmmmmm
All that ethnic food sounds divine! And the culture stuff sounds even better. Fascinating!
So how did the run go?

Sorry to hear that the motivation is lacking Flumes - its a vicious circle when you are not feeling the results..and then on the other hand, if you get kick started and get under 200lbs, you'll feel like getting out there and running the heck out of it again... Why not ditch the scales for a week and give it a week of healthy eating and exercise...then see what's happened? I get all too caught up on the daily weigh in...and its not always a good idea.
Will nagging help? I can come nag you several times a day if you like!
Well....not a happy camper here.
Found out yesterday my BIL (sis's hubby) had to be checked in to the hospital. He can't walk anymore and needs emergency surgery to have spleen removed. (leukemia) He's 64 and up until last winter, he felt and looked fine.
It didn't hit me till my sis sent some pics from his birthday (end of July) yesterday and he looks like hes 100 yrs old. Things aren't looking good...his chemo therapy for the past 3 months did little if anything and he weighs about 160lbs (from 275ish last fall).
I hate to bring misery to the group but I just needed to vent. My heart feels like it has a hole in it. He is such a good man....came from italy at 18 with nothing and recently felt settled enough in his carreer to retire (very comfortably I might add.) Its just sooo sad.
Sorry for the somber mood.
Hope you all are doing fine.
Thanks for finding the time to visit my diaryI hate to see you so down as you are such a ray of sunshine.
I don't really know what to say as nothing can make you feel better at the moment. We'll just have to hope for a miracle.
