Somehow I managed to keep driving past them last night. I have no idea how I did it. Started playing Halo when I got home,but was still hungry. So I had a whole wheat wrap with turkey and a small amount of cheese. I felt a lot better afterward, and I was really happy I didn't stop for fast food, because I would have felt awful.

For lunch I had a small portion of grilled chicken, macaroni, and a salad with ranch dressing.

Snack-150 cals worth of cheese its, and 1 chips ahoy cookie-80

Dinner: subway veggie patty with chips

Not really sure the calories on my lunch and I think the dinner was around 600, but I don't have time to calculate it right now.

Also I weighed today and I was 164. A 1lb loss. Not much, but I'll take it. All I did exercise wise this week was walk two miles everyday. Nothing extra, so next week I should see improvement since I'll have my exercise bike.
 
Loads of landlords are complete dicks. And I'm glad you know all of your fiances annoying habbits! I would hate for you to think he is perfect in every single way, and then have a shock!

I think that the want-food-but-not-hungry feeling came from you knowing you had used up all your calories for the day. So you just got fixated on it. Glad you didn't give in and get fast food though :D

Any downwards change on the ticker is a good one! I was quite put out last week when I didn't get to move it!
 
Yeah, I'm glad I lost something. I really can't wait to get down to the 15x's. Hopefully I can get there in two weeks. I'll need to kick up my exercise!
 
Its funny fleur ..We rented a house a month before we got married and didn't live in it together because my mom was such a strict catholic..I had her convinced I was a "V" when I got married..LMAO...its ok..she can die a delusional women...haha but anyway we figured it out as we went..just like the old days...haha...and 17 almost married years later we are still here.

I think that the want-food-but-not-hungry feeling came from you knowing you had used up all your calories for the day. So you just got fixated on it. Glad you didn't give in and get fast food though

I agree Rainbow..I am starving tonight and its cause I am empty on the calories!! I think :ack2:
 
SORRY!

I'm terrible at logging on here on the weekends. Had a busy one. My fiance and I had our engagment party on Saturday and then we visited with his parents on Sunday. I think I did really good food wise this weekend. I limited my portions on Saturday to one pork bbq sandwich, ruffle chips and some chip dip. One can of regular coke(I totally prefer coke zero now btw, so the reg coke was a bit of a struggle). Little later I had another small portion of chips and dip and of course a piece of chocolate cake. Later that night I had some more chips and dip and that was it.

On Sunday I had a small portion of pork chop with a cajun run on it, with a small portion of mashed potatoes and make and cheese. For breakfast that day I had some scrambled eggs 1 piece of toast with butter, and some hash browns.

Dinner later that night was a pork bbq sandwhich, chips and dip, and a piece of choc cake. Those were leftovers given to me from our party. I still have some bbq left, but only brought home two pieces of cake for my fiance and I as well as 2 portions of chips and dip. I knew if I took the amount of cake my mom wanted me to it would have been really bad.

So the weekend was great! I had a blast. I got the exercise bike from my parents into my house and used it for the first time today. Did 1.25 miles and worked up a good sweat.

Breakfast today:
bran flakes, splash of milk-110

Lunch-
baby spinach leaves and italian dressing-90
48 small pretzel sticks-100
1/2 parmesian crusted tilapia-130

Dinner-
turkey sandwhich on ww with cheese-160
48 pretzel sticks-100
1/2 chocolate pastry pie type thing-250

After work snack-
1/2 piece parmesian crusted tilapia-130

This total is 1070 calories, so at some point I'm gonna add a snack in somewhere or add something to a meal, just not sure what yet.

So the best news at all, I seem to be about the same weight as I was on friday, despite the cake and chips and dip! I'm so happy. However this is the week of the month that every woman dreads, so if I see some gain, I have to keep that in mind.
 
Wow, has this place changed or what! It was a tough day without being able to get on here,that's all I can say. The new set up is going to take some getting used to though.


For the sake of time, so I can explore the new layout, I hit 1400 calories on the dot today. I also did 1 mile on the bicycle and plan on another mile tonight after work.


Also, the scale said 163lbs this morning!!! I was so happy. Friday is the official weigh in, so can't wait till then so I can change the ticker. Hopefully I'll lose a bit more too!
 
Today for breakfast/lunch I had 2 eggs(180 cal) and 3 strips of turkey bacon (75cal).


homemade chocolate milk- made it more chocolaty that I should have but it sure was yummy. I'm gonna say 300cal


Dinner-turkey sandwhich on ww with cheese- 290cal

pretzels-100

baby spinach salad-20

italian dressin-70


1035 total for now.


Snack will be pretzels-100


After work I will have a bowl of bran flakes-110


Total after snacks-1245


Didn't hit the bike today before work, had a bad headache. Either going to hit the bike or the rebounder tonight and lift some weights. Also gonna be doing a lot of walking tonight at work.

AHave you been drinking enough water?? I always get headaches when I'm dehyrated, especially when I'm cutting cals. Were the eggs extra large??? 90 cals for an XL egg is a lot. The extra large eggs I get have only 84 cals, but I moved down to the large eggs made by egglands because they have 70 lol... I'm a sucker for cutting one or two cals here and there. I don't notice the difference in egg volume in my hunger levels I guess. I just like the taste of the protein and fat in the morning. Yuummm.. morning food. So excited to eat tomorrow LOL. I'm done for the day... sigh.
 
I think I have been skimping on my water intake, but I'm working on gettting that back up! I know it helps keep me fuller and keeps cravings down, so I need to keep at it. I actually have no idea where I got the 90 calories from... I'll check the carton when I get home.:blush5: I have to agree, I love breakfast now! I had turkey bacon the other day and it was so good! And at only 25 cals a piece, I couldn't believe it!


I checked my weight today and it was back to 165lbs, but I had already eaten breakfast, so I'll make sure tommorrow I weight before I eat. Tomorrow is my official weigh in day anyways so that's when the number counts.


I miss my fitness tracker...:)
 
Which fitness tracker did you use? I used to use Food Diary which I loved and lost weight with but it was $9 per month. So now I use my fitness pal. It is free and I like the Facebook like component that it has. I feel that tracking food is the most important part of the weight loss equation.
 
I have been wearing a bodybugg and discovered some interesting things about calorie burn. All of these exercises burn 4 calories per minute (on me 5'2" 115 pounds) walking, ellipitcal, yoga and the stari climber.

Zumba burns about 8 calories per minute and running 10 calories per minute. The big surprise for me was that the recumbant bike burns only 2-3 calories per minute. I have come to understand that it's tied into upper body motion, so, long may we run!

Finally done exams and got the time to stop by your diary. Glad to see your doing well on your weight loss...163 is really good!

I'm not used to the new forum either...it seems abit complicated hehe but i guess i will get used to it soon.
 
Oh lovey, i get the worst cravings EVER, and i go crazy trying to get it out of my mind... NEVER WORKS. i always find that after a day of craving very bad food the next couple of days i have no cravings!!


You are doing great though!!! Keep up the great work!!xoxox
 
Wow, sorry for being gone so long everyone! School started this week and I've been doing a lot of wedding stuff and just didn't have the time to stop by here. I can tell how it affected me though. I'm pretty sure I haven't lost any weight this week. We'll see for sure tomorrow,but I'm not counting on anything. I've been going crazy with classes starting this week. I'm still watching my calorie intake. Hit a bump last night when I stopped by mcdonalds and got a plain chicken sandwhich and a small fry no salt. I know it could have been a lot worse. It would have been fine if I hadn't already eaten my cals for the day. However, back on track today! I really need to get back into my exercise.I've been lazy and I know that's probably why I'm not seeing any changes.
 
A:hurray::hurray: Well welcome back!! I understand the time thing.....its football season around here...so I try to sneak on my phone at work....and grab a few minutes in the evening....but I never feel like I get to ready everyones posts...then I feel bad....but I am so so HAPPY you are back and that just becaused you slowed down doesn't mean you stopped....we can't go120mph every week....I am sure once you start execising that the changes will come :) :) :)
