I'm with you Tom--I'd definitely take red wine over white anytime.
You are absolutely insane to ride the 35 miles just to meet up with them (roundtrip I assume)? Sounds like a great idea to ride with a bike club. Did you find the club on the internet? I have no fun plans for this weekend either except meeting up with my girlfriend on Sat, so I'll probably pathetically be on here.
You know Tom, I wish I could remember what the guys were buying that night. They had a HUGE list of scotch's and I think the guys tried 2 different ones. One I remember they said was super smooth and was really good, the other had a bit of a bite to it. I'll have to ask my hubby and email you on that one later. I actually had a Pinot Grigot that night, I picked a bottle everyone would like, and they did.I will say that bottle of wine was like 38.00 bucks, they had some on that menu for 75-90 dollars, I was like WHAT??
But it was so nice! I'm so jealous of all your gorgeous views when bike riding, you are truly lucky!
What's wrong with wine by the glass?
The price.
"By the glass" is an industry term. For example, R****** Chardonnay is $240 / case wholesale, $20 a bottle, say 4 glasses to a bottle so a glass is $5. At a restaurant it is typically $12 a glass, sometimes more. Expensive!
I bet I could make you like white wine.![]()

I know
Thanks though!
I'm getting a little sick of my squats and deadlifts, so I do them first thing in my routine, diligently.
My neck was sore and tired yesterday at work. When I weight trained, it miraculously felt better which I think is counterintuitutive. What do you have to say about THAT?
