Weight: 234.2 - Now, that's what I'm talkin' about!
This was a nice surprise awaiting me this morning. I was so good yesterday, it hurt. Food & drink was 5 out of 5 in quality, with a total of 2,275 calories:
Fat: 79 gm, 31%; 16 gm saturated, 6%
Carbs: 224 gm, 36%; 36 gm fiber
Protein: 143 gm, 25%
Alcohol: 19 gm, 6%
I had a NARM of 2,366 calories, plus 1,070 calories burnt off in my steady state cardio, so I ended the day with a whopping deficit of 1,161 calories, giving me a month to date deficit of 4,553 calories, and an accumulated deficit of 11,383 calories for this plateau.
Is the plateau over? Truthfully, I don't know yet. But here's what happened twice in the past. In the middle of the plateau, I'd get a teaser reading from the scale gods, just to make me pant. I get all excited about that, and then the scale gods punish me, and make me wait up to two more weeks, until I have an accumulated deficit of between 12,000 and 13,000 calories. Then they take pity on me and let the scale drop a couple of pounds -- until the next round.
If I really have dropped, this would certainly follow the pattern so far, although this time the plateau would be only 27 days instead of 36 days. I'm not going to celebrate yet, though. But if I'm still in this range by Monday, I'm going to declare victory over this plateau and move on to the next one.
