Oh man does that sound familiar to me :O
Now when i do that - i do it with veges. I fill up on veges, use the meat for the taste. saves a lot of guilt - unfortunatly not the sore tummy :O
See, Wishes, that's what I
should have done. I'm still learning how to do this stuff.
You keep some kick butt records of what you are doing man, I am really impressed. I thought I was doing so well with Fitday...... Anywho, I am wondering how you monitor your heartbeat while exercising... Is it on the machine you are using or do you have a wristwatch model? Just curious what you think of them since you seem to put them to good use either way.sirant
LOL, I am a data
FREAK. Actually, when I got my MBA about 18 years ago, statistics was may favorite class of all. A lot of it had to do with the professor, but it really opened my eyes. Not that what I'm doing here is good statistics, mind you, because it really isn't -- but it makes me feel good psychologically.
I use a Polar F6, which I got on amazon.com for about $89. I bought a cheaper Polar earlier, but it only had the heart beat. Then I got curious about the machine readings for calories, and kept reading they were way off. Well you know me, inaccuracy just won't do. So I sprang for the F6, which keeps track of your calories, too. I also wanted that for my weight training sessions anyway, because I had no idea what I was really burning.
I've been very happy with the F6. It also has something in it that cancels out the signals from other HR monitors, so they don't screw with yours -- very important in gyms over here; probably totally irrelevant over there.
As you may have noticed above, you put some weight back on, and so did I. I thought you were burning some of that fine Chinese incense to the scale gods in my name, too. You weren't reneging on your promise were you, hogging it all for yourself?
1000 cals in 60 mins is good going... if I burn 1000 (and I struggle to do so) it takes me more like 80 mins!
Anyway keep it up.
Sprite, there aren't many advantages to weighing as much as I do, but that is certainly one of them. Of course, going at the intensity I do helps too!
