First of May – My New Way

That bread sounds great. I'm going to have to try it. But I never see fresh beets in the grocery store around here (except for summer). Do you think canned would work?

That is funny; we get our fresh beetroots late autumn and winter. Never heard of canned ones, are they in Water it is probably fine. We have some in jars but they are in vinegar and that would not Work. You could use any fresh and firm veggie probably, like pumpkin, carrot or other roots.

walked 9 km. Got a huge blister today halfway through the walk, not fun at all. Hope I can still walk tomorrow.

Yeah, don´t do what I did yesterday. Overate by >3000 kcal, which is about a pound of pure fat. Be smarter!

LaMa: I probably did close to that Saturday at the gas station and that's the primary reason to this decline in motivation. Weight have been standing still since Friday.

I do not feel hungry, sometimes I feel like I am a Little low in energy and a banana solves that really good. Is not helping that I had no kids yesterday and Neither will have today. Last week when I was constipated I stopped taking my iron tablets and I have been so tired it's indescribably. Started again yesterday and hope it will help. Also this week is a huge amount of study Work and I have to get up at 5.15 or 5.00 to get a head start.

My target is 1600 cals a day, my RMR is around 2100, on a normall day with 10 km biking and 1-2 hours of cardio I spend another 1000+ cals. It seems like a lot of cals if I wore to eat 2000+ a day...

I'm interested about this vegan curry spread you're eating. What's in it? Does it have protein? How many calories? It must taste good as I've seen it a few times! Where do you get it? lol

It tastes good yes, I mainly eat it to get healthy fats and because it's not easy finding allergy friendly tings to put on bread besides meat slice., I buy it in a jar at the health shop in town. it's German I think and it pretty much consists of sunflower seeds, spices, apple and Papaya. No proteins to mention. It's around 350 cals per 100 grams.

Clarissa I think 1,600 is really low. You may have cravings in part because you aren't eating enough. Too big of a deficit lowers your energy and mood and makes you lose a lot muscle. You might be suffering for no reason.

The calculator above does a pretty good job for me. My calories (2,300) fall at that calculators predictions for 2 pounds lost per week somewhere between "lightly" and "moderately" active. Since following 2,300 calories I have averaged 3.4 pounds lost a week over 7 weeks. I am more than moderately active so it does predict a bit high. It matches up well with the more involved and complicated body weight predictor below.

Please don't feel pressured to make any changes on my account. I just wanted to provide you some information in case you feel that your calories need adjusting.

it has me at 1864 with lightly active and at 2228 moderately active. On average around 2000. I might take next week at 2000 and see how that goes. Thanks for the links.

Wrote a Little in Word earli today and will copy-paste it here:
Today have been a really good day, thought about getting that in my diary as well, and not just bad stuff.
Haven’t felt like eating today at all. I had a really good conversation/meeting with a family consultant at the boy’s school about some issues concerning that my son has troubles dealing with his emotions and that I do not feel his father is taking it seriously enough. I also bumped in to a nice guy. And I am going to a Christmas party soon. Motivation, motivation, motivation :D

I do not feel tired today but am uncertain about doing cardio or getting a rest day at home taking care of laundry and other needed chores – and also let my huge blister have some rest. It’s also getting near freezing point and I should make it a plan to pay my new gym a visit next week..

I am expecting the kids and my father home tomorrow and shopped for a really nice dinner (pork roast with potatoes, veggies, gravy and crisps). It’s Happy Friday tomorrow, but since weight have been still all week and I don’t feel like a feast is needed, I will stick to my normal calories at breakfast and lunch– and just have the dinner to be the Happy Friday.

Would love to get below 130 at New Year, that’s 6 kg and 6 weeks on the day exactly. Not much room for Happy Fridays or slipping up – I am also going to the Christmas party on the 12th and that’s fatty foods and loads of alcohol of course.

Oh interesting. I may have to check some specialty stores, but I doubt I'll find something like that!

There are loads of flavours, tried a beetroot-horseradish one too, so yummi!

Nice guys are ... nice, Anna :D

I've been thinking.. I do not feel hungry in my stomach, but I do feel some kind of fatique most of the time pass lunch. I am working from home today and I slept until 7.30 and have spent the morning doing lots of small tasks I needed to do like get the new pics up the wall, send a letter, back up the cpmputer and move files from the old to the new one blah blah. Stuff that's been on my mind a while.

I will go up to 2000 cals a day and see if Things get better and I still have a weight loss, would like to hit that 10 lbs goal I have in the challenge and the <130 at New Year. However feeling good and maintaining Health and wellbeing is more important.

Thanks guys!
I ate millet porridge with almond milk and 3 kiwies with a handful of almonds at breakfast, a large chop steak and crisps at lunch and 2 bananas and 2 lattes as snack, was at 1550 before dinner, had 5 egg-size boiled potatoes, one and a half cup red cabbage, fatty gravy and one small slice pork roast, trimmed. No more eating today my stomach can't have anymore. Four legged meat and crisps kill my gut.
