Yeah, I think the by product of doing all that biking is getting outside in the sun. It doesn't take much for me to get tanned. Like 10 minutes outside in sunny weather and I'm tanned for two weeks.

**scratches T2's chin** One more day, I'm painting them after my bike ride tomorrow morning. :D

Mid-morning snack
Bag of veggies:
9 baby carrots
1 stalk of celery
1/2 a cucumber
Total: 58

Lunch
4 oz of deli ham
1 slice of provolone
1 tsp mustard
1 low fat/carb tortilla
Total: 280

Supper
Couple bites of salad with cucumbers and low fat italian dressing (didn't really want it)
Turkey sandwich:
5.5 oz turkey
2 slices lite bread
1 tbsp butter
Total: 385

Second Supper
(long week and had to put in a late night at the office so I needed some comfort food)
1 cup Sticky rice
1 oz steak
1 cup Som Tom (thai papaya salad)
Total: 357

Total for the day: 1302 calories.

I really didn't need to eat all the Som Tom, but it was really good.

Wow, that was a lot of food today.
Didn't go for a bike ride tonight, I didn't get home until after eight and then I ate the som tom. Going to watch Jeopardy with the hubby and then go to bed.

I'm gonna try and save as many calories today as I can, my parents are taking us out to dinner tonight and I'm probably going to be a bit naughty.

Breakfast
1 of my homemade banana muffins
Total: 130 cals

Mid-morning snack
1 fruit smoothie
Total: 151 cals

Lunch
1/2 a 90% lean hamburger
5.5 oz of red potatos
1 tbsp of bbq sauce
Total: 380

Total so far: 664 calories

This last week I've been trying to keep my cals around 12-1400 cals, but tonight I think I'm going to give myself leeway up to 1600 cals. That'll give me about 1000 cals to play with.
 
You know I think I didn't do too bad tonight. I tried a bunch of naughty foods, but I only took one to two bite portions. I didn't eat nearly as much as I used to. And if I had something that I didn't like I didn't finish it like I used to, just because it was on my plate.

Dinner
1 pierogi in pesto sauce (about the size of a small walnut) never had it before
1 gigantic meatball about the size of a plum (only ate 3/4 of it as gave some to the hubby)
3 asparagus spears
couple slices of cucumber salad
two bite portion of an italian sausage (very good)
1 steamed dumpling
1 very small bite of grilled tilapia (had to see if I still hate fish)
2 cheese tortellinis
made a big plate of nachos, but only had 6 chips out of it
2 bites of bbq ribs (didn't like it)
Dessert
1 1/2" square of some layered chocolate cake
2 baby cream puffs (about the size of a big marshmello)
one of the cream puffs was covered with a white chocolate fondue sauce
1/2 a cannoli (never had it before, didn't like it)
Total: ~704 cals

That is a total guesstamation, it could totally be another 1 or 200 cals higher, but probably not much more than that.

Which would make my totals for the day (since I had some wheat thins and bruschetta mid-afternoon too) around 1700 to 1900 calories.

Which isn't too shady since I looked up how many calories I'd have to intake to maintain my weight being sendentary was averaging 2200 cals.

However, I'm completely stuffed and I don't think I'll be doing another buffet for a while.
 
off topic

So this is off my usual topic of strictly exercising & food intake. My daughter's been visiting with her dad in Florida for about three weeks now. She'll be back next week. What I'm dwelling on is that she's called twice this week now, crying on the phone and wanting to talk to me & the hubby because she misses us. I know my baby and something is bothering her, but I don't know what. She's not very good at explaining stuff yet. I ask her what's wrong and she says she doesn't know. She says that everyone's nice to her, but she said she's not very happy. I don't know. Hopefully, everything will be better once she's back. ** sigh ** I really miss her.

For an Italian girl like myself, this is like reading "I don't like oxygen"!! LOL!!!

That must be hard having your daughter away for such a long period of time. And I'm sure it breaks your heart to have her call you up crying...but at the same time it's great that she's homesick. I think if she didn't miss you at all, and didn't want to come home that might make you feel worse.

Her homecoming next week will be extra special. And she is absolutely darling. A diva raising another diva...oh dear!! LOL!!!

I am soo happy for how well you did at dinner. You should be very proud. I know you must miss your daughter and are counting down the days until she comes back. I am sure she will be happy again once she sees you. Oh yea.....you look awesome in your pic!!!!!

I actually really love tilapia. It's one of my favourite fishes.

awwh. Sounds like your daughter really misses you too. Just one week to go before she's back right? So cheer up. One week passes by super quick. :)
 
Yeah, so far I haven't found a fish that I like. I took a bite of some salmon that the hubby had on his plate but spit it out (which is why I didn't count it on my cals for the day) LOL

I'm going to keep trying though.
