Fear not for the future, weep not for the past.

Man, I really hate when the hubby works overtime on the weekends. And I know he's doing it so we can save up some moola to have a baby, but it's the only time I get to see him and I have nothing to do when he's not here!!

So far I got up this morning and made him lunch to go. Then I checked in here, then I had breakfast, then I checked in here, then I lefted some weights, then I checked in here, then I cleaned the kitchen, then I checked in here, then I made some brewed tea to refrigerate for the hubby when he gets home, then I checked in here, then i went for a bike ride, then I checked in here, now I'm going to go have an early lunch (mmmm, spinach lasagna), then I'll probably check in here, then I might do a walk off the lbs dvd that a friend loaned me, then I'll probably check in here, then I'll probably take a shower, then I'll probably check in here.

Wait a minute ...... I think I'm seeing a pattern **sarcasm**

Ugh !! why did I stop in here !!???

Now I'm hungry !!!

"I'll get you my pretty" *(wicked witch of the west voice)*

btw, only ONE clove of garlic ?? that's just criminal.

wee wee wee. ;)

LOL, I was just following the receipe, although I think if I redid it, I might use fresh baby spinach and sautee it in a non-stick skillet with another clove of garlic and some onions and green peppers.

Now you're talkin'. Too bad we have to pass on the garlic bread *sigh*

I actually was never a big bread fan. Except my grandma's homemade sweet rye bread. mmmmmm, rye bread, she makes it every thanksgiving and christmas, I can't wait.

Coming from a spaghetti-bender heritage, bread was a table staple all my life and still is at my mom's crib and always will be.

Dropping bread and extremely rare pasta eating has been without a doubt thee most challenging part of my lifestyle change. The results tho are undeniable.

My hardest change was consuming under a cup of rice at one meal. I remember my mom would make an entire rice cooker full of steamed rice. I would eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner ...... but I didn't have a weight problem as a kid either.......

I find that I have the same pattern as you!!! Do a little, come here and check who's on, do a little more, come back here.... I'm addicted!

LOL, yeah, I think I'm addicted too.

Ugh, I have arthritis in my right knee and it always acts up when there's a bad storm about to hit. I've been up now for about a half hour and the storm finally broke and my knee's feeling better. Hopefully I can get some sleep now.

Hi, Man. Thanks for the recipe. I may add some veggies as you suggested as well, but I am definately trying that some day. Hey, sorry about your knee, but I bet it is kind of handy if the weatherman is wrong! Hope you got some sleep! Have a great Sunday.

Well, got up extremely late for me this morning, due to my 2 am weather wake up call. By the time I dragged myself downstairs it was around 10:30. I had to make the decision on whether to have breakfast that late and thus move back all the meals for the day or just skip it. I decided to just skip it.

Hi Manaloa!!! I consider it an honor to be able to write in your diary....as you suggested I start my very own. You've done an AWESOME job thus far and I'm certain you'll meet your goal!

I'm sorry to hear about your knee. It's odd because after several track/basketball related injuries to my left ankle, the VERY same thing happens to me when a bad storm is coming. It's so strange, but it hurts like the dickens!! I wrap it up tight with an ace bandage and put a heating pad on it. It's the only thing that seems to help, Motrin doesn't give me any relief.

BTW...I think I want spinach lasagna for dinner tomorrow night. :D

Hi ohappydaye!!!
Yeah, mine's from basketball in high school, I was pretty aggressive on the court and some girl stepped on the toe of my shoe as I was making a lunge and I really strained my knee when I fell. Funny enough, I've sprained my ankles many many times over the years, but it never aches like that knee. LOL
Usually, I put a heating pad on it too, but since the move, I have no idea where half our stuff is.
That spinach lasagna was awesome, I have to tell you. I think I see it again in my near future too. LOL

Dang...we were so hard on our bodies in high school, huh? :p

All these great recipes are making me hungry!!! I'm drinking water to keep from eating....I hope I can keep this up! :D

PS...let me know if you need me to loan you my heating pad! ;)

LOL, thanks happydaye, I'll remember that. Everytime I see your name, that darn song keeps running through my head.

Well, my plateau has finally been busted through!!! Yaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!:D :D :D
I woke up this morning at 226.5. An amazing 1 1/2 lb drop. Woooohoooo!!!!!!

I feel like a jumping all over the place. I was so afraid to up my cals even though it said that in order to maintain my weight at sedentary, I needed to consume 2200 cals (it was way more for as active as I am) and I think I hit 1900 only once during the last week at my highest attempt to eat higher cals and I'm wondering if my starvation level just kicks in early.

So, my goal is to consume 1600 to 1800 cals a day and keep it there for a wee bit longer. Which means I can have an average of 320-360 cals for each mini meal (since I have five of them)

And still continue my exercise routine. Which is weights and abs in the morning and bike at night.

Well, I'm off to make breakfast and do my morning workout.
