And here I was getting discouraged
First of all, thanks to everybody posting!! It really helps.
I was actually starting to get discouraged yesterday. I'd gone up 1/2 a lb from the Chicago trip and hadn't even flucuated during the week. If I hadn't lost anything this morning I think I would have bust something.
Honestly, I don't care if I lose a 1/2 lb a week or 3 lbs a week as long as I keep losing. This week's been really rough. I feel like I'm hungry all the time. I'm keeping my total cals to around 1500 - 1700 cals. I wanted to keep it a bit lower, but I've been so hungry lately, I can't help but have some additional snacks.
I've been trying to go for a bike ride every morning. I keep meaning to work out in the evening, but I think I only did it a couple times this week.
My goal for this weekend (starting tonight, since I'm going out with my friend) is:
1) To avoid anything fried.
2)To only have two alcohalic beverages when I go out.
3) And to stop eating when I'm full.
My goal for next week is to:
1) Keep up my eating habits between 1500-1700 cals
2) Go for a bike ride every morning. (love my bike)
3) Do an exercise video or weights at least 3 nights during the week.
That seems fairly reasonable, I think?
Today's started off good. Had my usual breakfast egg sandwich, with a slice of the 2% chedder on it, but half the cheese dripped out when I put it in the pita. Messy.
Got to work today and we're having a potluck for two co-worker's b-day. I brought a mixed veggie italian salad, with lowfat dressing. One of the ladies brought an egg casserole. I took a 1 1/2 inch square portion of it because I had no idea what the calories are. It has eggs, skim milk, bread, onion, bacon, & cheese. I think that was a reasonable amount to take.
I'm hoping there will be some good food at the potluck, so that I won't have to eat just my salad.
I told myself that when I finish my first office bottle of water, then I can have my banana.
