Fear not for the future, weep not for the past.

Really, T2? Thanks for the tip. It still tasted good and I was going to attempt it again next week. I'll have to remember that. :)

*Happy Dance* :D
**Shakes booty**
Just checked the scale and I'm down another two lbs. Yay for me!!
But I can't change the marker until monday. Hopefully I can lose another lb before then.
*Happy Dance* :D

And here I was getting discouraged

First of all, thanks to everybody posting!! It really helps.

:D
I was actually starting to get discouraged yesterday. I'd gone up 1/2 a lb from the Chicago trip and hadn't even flucuated during the week. If I hadn't lost anything this morning I think I would have bust something.

Honestly, I don't care if I lose a 1/2 lb a week or 3 lbs a week as long as I keep losing. This week's been really rough. I feel like I'm hungry all the time. I'm keeping my total cals to around 1500 - 1700 cals. I wanted to keep it a bit lower, but I've been so hungry lately, I can't help but have some additional snacks.

I've been trying to go for a bike ride every morning. I keep meaning to work out in the evening, but I think I only did it a couple times this week.

My goal for this weekend (starting tonight, since I'm going out with my friend) is:
1) To avoid anything fried.
2)To only have two alcohalic beverages when I go out.
3) And to stop eating when I'm full.

My goal for next week is to:
1) Keep up my eating habits between 1500-1700 cals
2) Go for a bike ride every morning. (love my bike)
3) Do an exercise video or weights at least 3 nights during the week.

That seems fairly reasonable, I think?

Today's started off good. Had my usual breakfast egg sandwich, with a slice of the 2% chedder on it, but half the cheese dripped out when I put it in the pita. Messy.

Got to work today and we're having a potluck for two co-worker's b-day. I brought a mixed veggie italian salad, with lowfat dressing. One of the ladies brought an egg casserole. I took a 1 1/2 inch square portion of it because I had no idea what the calories are. It has eggs, skim milk, bread, onion, bacon, & cheese. I think that was a reasonable amount to take.

I'm hoping there will be some good food at the potluck, so that I won't have to eat just my salad.

I told myself that when I finish my first office bottle of water, then I can have my banana. :)

Ugh, I should have planned better. I forget that they don't do the potluck until 1:30, which is about two hours later then I normally have lunch. I've been snacking like a fiend.

I had that small piece of egg casserole earlier, then I had a banana around 10am. It's noon now and I just had 1/2 an apple and a 1/2 a mini bag of 94% fat free popcorn. I'm hoping this'll get me through until lunch though.

 Finally *whew*

I feel so much better now that I've eaten. I had one small (1 1/2" x 4") chicken & cheese enchilada, super yummy. About a 1/2 cup of my veggie salad, a 1/2 cup of fresh fruit and ..... a tiny piece of the brownie/pudding dessert (1/2" x 1 1/2" piece). Oh, yeah, and a Edy's all fruit coconut ice cream bar thing. That was wonderful. It tasted like the inside of an almond joy and it was only 130 cals and 3 g of fat. I'm so buying a box of those. Right now with everything I ate, my calories are around 1000 to 1100. AND I still have dinner out with my friend tonight. *sigh* At a mexican restaurant.....*sigh*

Yeah, so 1 out of 3 isn't so good, huh. :(
I had 4 fried flour tortilla chips dipped in the bean dip, smothered in cheese. For dinner I had a chicken enchilada and a beef taco, which I didn't finish. While bar hopping I had 4 watered down margeritas and one shot of liquid cocaine and when I got home I had a bottle of hard lemonade. So the only goal I kept was the the third one.

I'm kind of upset with myself. I didn't really need all those drinks. :(

This morning I could really feel the cold from my hubby settling into my chest so I didn't go for the bike ride. :( I did have my usual egg breakfast, which was good. For lunch, though, we went to a new restaurant. I ordered a grilled chicken pasta in an asiago cream sauce. I also had three small slices of their bread and a bite of steak from my hubby's plate. I only ate about a third of my pasta though. There's still enough left for another two meals.

Meatloaf, many moons ago, sang a song about two out of three ain't bad... It was a sappy annoying un-love song... I say screw that- you got 1 out of three and i say that's good... It's further than you were a few weeks ago... so you've made progress... Don't beat yourself up... (that's twinmom's job as the offical beater upper :D and I don't think she will...

next time.. you'll get two out of three...

I don't want to go to work tomorrow.

So last night I had the leftover eggplant lasagna w/a 1/2 cup of egg noodles. This morning I had an egg w/a slice of the 2% chedder in the pita.

Then my hubby and I went for a 45 minute bike ride really early this morning, since it was suppose to be really hot & humid out. Then we went out to the store & picked him up a new bike seat and got some fruit.

For lunch I grilled brats and hamburgers. I also made some homemade bruschetta. I had a hamburger with some of the bruschetta on it. 4 townhouse bistro multigrain crackers with 1/4 cup of cottage cheese and a 1/2 cup of the bruschetta. Then my hubby and I split a nectarine.

For supper I sliced up the brats and threw them into a skillet with onions, green peppers and tomatos. I threw some cumin, curry & paprika on it and put it over white rice (white rice 'cuz that's how my Thai momma raised me).

Total for the day is around 1500 calories and when I weighed in this morning I was down another 1/2 a lb. But I can feel the bloat coming on now, so that means my TOM is going to make an appearance within the next few days.

While we were out Saturday I happened to glance at my driver's license, the picture was taken a month after my wedding. I couldn't believe how much weight I've lost in my face. So I took some pics. My second chin was even more apparent in the DL.

The ones with my best friend was from around March, I think. The others are from yesterday.

Please forgive the joker grin. I always forget not to smile so big that you could see my gums, gross.

Digital but cropped with Irfanview to get it to fit in the attachment.

Toenails!! Here you go, you lucky man. I hate my feet, they're still pudgy. Not to mention that I have duckfeet.

Nice to know someone else uses Irfan. Never has sizing ever been made easier online.

I gotta get a diggie, that's all there is to it.

You've got a beautiful smile... I hope you use it often :)

and congrats on having thescale move downward

T2 are you trying to make me blush??? :p

Thanks, Mal.

Well, I had to get on the scale three times this morning to believe my eyes. It moved down from fridays weigh in another 1 1/2 lbs. Bringing my total loss from last Monday to 3 1/2 lbs.
Wooohoooo *happy dance* *shakes booty* **wiggles pink toenails**

It felt so good to move that ticker!!

Foodwise, so far I think I've decided on Quaker Oatmeal squares and I have a couple of bananas that need to get eaten, but I might make a fruit salad and have it as a snack later. Not sure what I'm going to do for lunch yet. I was too busy taking pics of my toenails for T2 last night. :D

So for breakfast I ended up having 3/4 cup of the oatmeal squares and a banana and enough milk to get it wet. I don't really like milk.

For my midmorning snack I had a serving of the big wheat thins with my leftover homemade bruschetta. And for lunch I had a small leftover portion of my rice & sasauge & peppers. Oh, and a low fat string cheese. I made a fruit salad with a banana, peach and a nectarine, but I was too full all afternoon to have any of it.

For supper I'm going to reheat the pasta leftovers from the restaurant. Maybe if I'm stilll hungry after that I'll split the fruit salad with the hubby.

Today was kind of a leftover day. I hate throwing food out.

So my total for the day is around 775, not including dinner. With dinner it'll probably bring me up to around 12 - 1300 cals because I have no idea what's in the sauce.

I did buy a carton/box (?) of soy milk and rice milk back in oh.....'99, I think. Yeah.....it weirded me out more than the milk does.
