Fear not for the future, weep not for the past.

way to multi task... :) that's awesome being able to watch your shows and not be a couch potato (which usuallyleads to snacking) excellent idea to have those weights nearby and actually dosomething witht hem

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone, once again for stopping by my diary. It really does help and I enjoy all the feedback.

That being said. .... I was just thinking that I need to change my nail polish. And I HATE it! :(
I miss being able to reach my toes without feeling like I'm going to herniate something.

you'll get there soon enough, patience grasshopper, patience :)

Ooh while you're watching tv - maybe you could makea game out of it- like toe touches... :D

We would all be in trouble with if that were a prerequisite, especially with my free usage of the Twiny Stick.

I do toenails Mana. Cheap I might add.

Promises promises T2. Besides my hubby might have an attack if some man touched my toes. LOL :D

Now who's fault would it be to tell a husband about a simple task like getting your toenails painted ??

You like drama, I can tell.

A Shelley quote if I remember correctly.

Your correct :)

Reminds me of a song.. "Seasons don't fear the reaper Nor do the wind, the sun and the rain," ;) :)

Are you kidding, T2? I hate drama!! I avoid it like the plague. But I also don't keep anything from my hubby.

I think I'm catching a cold

*rolls eyes* I know u jest T2.

So last night I decided to try the eggplant lasagna. It didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped. The eggplant was kind of tough to cut through. I think I might have to fiddle with the receipe a little more. But other than that, it tasted yummy. Didn't do much else last night, was starting to feel poorly, my hubby stayed home yesterday with a sinus/chest cold (today too) and I think I'm catching it. I was going to work out, but then my brother asked if I wanted to go to a swing dancing lesson, so I thought that was cool since I haven't been ballroom dancing since college. But by the time we were to leave I was feeling like someone'd run over me. So I stayed home and played video games with the hubby for an hour and then folded clothes and went to bed.

I did get up this morning and went for a half hour bike ride. That felt really good. I could tell I was having an easier time on the hills. But breathing was kind of strained I think from the oncoming cold.

For breakfast I did an egg with one slice of 2% sharp chedder cheese and the half pita pocket. That was a nice change. I'd noticed that I'd been getting the munchies lately, so I packed 3/4 cup of Quaker Oat squares & a 1/4 cup of milk for a mid morning snack. For lunch I packed a 1/2 pita pocket, turkey, 2 1/2 cups of broccoli & carrots, 1 cup of wild rice. I didn't get all the turkey stuffed into the pocket, so I saved it in case I get the munchies later. I also couldn't eat all the carrots & broccoli, there's maybe 3/4 of a cup of that left and about a 1/2 cup of the wild rice left. So it looks like I have another mini meal to eat at 3pm when the munchies hit.

Right now those darn peaches are calling my name again.

Mmmm, good food today!!!

How about if you make your husband paint your toenails? Look at it this way, it would kill two birds with one stone. One, it would probably lead to some **ahem** adult activity. And two, you get a semi-pedicure out of it!!

Wonderful idea, Scarlett. Unfortunately my hubby has an aversion to the smell of the remover & polish. Not only does he refuse to be in the same room, but he actually goes down into the basement & plays video games until I've finished and the room is aired out. What a wimp. :) Otherwise, it was a wonderful idea. I'm certainly amendable to *ahem* adult activites. :D

Sorry Mana :(

The trick with eggplant is it's such low moisture item that you really have to sear the plants at high heat quickly to seal in the moisture. Too long in the skillet will suck out what little juice is in them. Come baking time, yep, they can turn to shoe leather. My mom use to use an icewater/balsamic vinegar soak for a few hours in here eggplants.
