UhOh that is how it begins!!! Every fall when I was growing up, I would see literally hundreds of bikes riding thru SE Oklahoma. They looked so free and confident. Harley's are cool. I worked security for about 6m at the HD plant in Kansas City plant. I got to see them coming off the assembly line... so neat.
 
Gotta love this weather huh? Hope you are doing ok! We have school out for the rest of the week. Probably means no spring break for us!! have a goo one!:)
 
OMG I have to tell ya’ll what happened!! I ventured out today… this morning wasn’t great especially the road I live on but I made it. I worked for a few hours, went to the grocery store and came home. The highway was fine for the most and I knew that my road would be the real test… and it was!!! I couldn’t get up this small hill and kept sliding down, this is a small country road and where it dips has large drop offs on both side. I decided if I got out of the ruts I would have more traction. So after some more sliding, I got out of the ruts and it did help… I almost got to the top of the hill and my back tires slide back into the ruts!! It went all downhill from there…literally! When the ruts caught my tires, my front end swung around and I was sliding sideways down the hill!! Finally came to a stop!! I called my mom and asked her to find a tow truck. To make a really long story short…my neighbor is an ANGEL!! He came out on his 4 wheeler and he called a wrecker (the one that my mom called said he couldn’t make it till morning) and my neighbor and the wrecker guy got me home!! I was stuck for 3 hours!!!

So needless to say, I am not going to work tomorrow!!! My neighbor and the wrecker guy were Angels!!! Absolute Angels!!! The wrecker guy barely charged me anything (IMO) and he had to drive a ways to even get to me and took almost an hour to get me to my house!!

But I did stick to my diet but I didn’t exercise… I think my heart beat hard enough to day :)

I couldn't imagine trying to drive in that kind of weather!! YIKES!! I'm very glad to hear you're alright!!
 
WOW glad to hear you are alright and your neighbours helped ya out!!! BE SAFE!!! Glad to hear you are ok...and stuck to the diet!!! You go girl!!!
 
I told my hubby I was worried about you! I got out also and we live on flat land and it just so slick! Glad to hear you are ok!!:)

Yup but it doesn't look as bad and then it warms up next week!! Pretty happy about that. The high for tomorrow will be 32 so that is not bad...
 
Did ya'll see this video ? It is really cool!! It shows a helocopter saving a deer from a frozen lake!!
 
They were showing that all over the news here yesterday. Pretty good thinking, IMO.

Glad ya got out of the snow and had a descent day despite getting stuck!

32deg is not too bad...better than it has been:)

So bored... trying to do anything but boredom snack... wish I had work with me but I was so certain that i was going back out on Thursday!!

I finally uploaded a pic of myself on the SIS site. We are supposed to post one of us and our bikes. I had taken one during the summer but never got around to putting it up. So today I did. Here it is.

Sorry I havent been by, I couldnt get on yesturday morning and last night was late when I finally got home and did dinner and such...ans then just no energy...Youare an everydayer, I like droppin in on ya and seeing what is going on...

Ok Cinder you talked me into it changing my avator:D Hopefully, seeing it keeps me focused on wanting to ride more this year!

You never have to apologize... especially to me. You got a lot going on, you stop by when you can, its all good!
