Hope you had a great day and you found your ipod! Also awesome job about varying your workouts! I have learned that it actually does make a huge difference at least with my body!

I would work out my arms when I was at the gym but never with weights just punching motions and I think they will look so much nicer now! Hope your workouts and eats went well today :)

yay I found it!! It must have fallen out around the office somewhere because I found it by the fax machine this morning - what a relief! :)

Yeah I'm hoping the mix of workouts makes a difference as well - plus it keeps me from getting bored with the same thing all the time.

Breakfast
- special k with low cal yogurt and half handful of blueberries
Snack
- 2 rice crackers
- 5 sour patch kids - candy bad but small amount so not TOO bad
Lunch
- turkey and dijon mustard on whole grain bread
- baby carrots and snow peas with hummus
- 3 pretzels with hummus
- 1 ginger snap
Snack
- 5 teddy grahams (darn that 3pm snack attack again - I felt extra snacky today)
Dinner
- 1 cup scrambled eggs (well the southwest egg beaters) with light ham, light mozza-cheddar, salsa and hot sauce\

I'm off to a friends tonight to plan/discuss our Vegas trip so hopefully not too many snacks are around. No drinking for me tonight either way - even if there's wine - water water water! A small snack will be ok and even better if I'm not out too late so I can sneak a workout in when I get home.

Sad I don't get to sleep in much tomorrow but it's ok because I get my hair done - woo woo :) Well just roots touched up and bangs re-trimmed but it's still nice to be pampered and end up with glamorous hair ;)

So not a great week last week but I didn`t do my weigh in since I`ve sorta decided to try every other week for a while. Plus last week was just sad - missed lots of workouts - had too many sweets. But I`m still chugging along so here`s to a better week!

Went to a family dinner last night and I haven`t seen them all since mid-december and everyone was saying how great I looked so that just may have been the boost I needed to get back at it. My food hasn`t been too bad lately, it`s just the late night sugar attacks and then lack of exercise when I get busy or am tired - bad bad.

I also think it was a bit of feeling over confident with it. I was starting to see results and for some reason instead of making me want to keep going and get better I sort of got lazy about it all, but not anymore!

March 12, 2011 This was the day I had a hair appointment so I had to leave home at 10:30 and wasn`t going to be home until after my errands around 5 or 6 so I was trying to plan my food around it to avoid snacking at the mall.
Breakfast
- tbsp peanut butter and tsp low sugar jelly on whole grain weight watchers bread
Snack
- string cheese
Lunch
- fat free ham and laughing cow cheese with dijon on weight watchers whole grain bread
Snack
- 1/2 rice cake 100 calorie snack pack
Dinner
- smart ones beef veggie dinner
- baked tilapia fillet
Saturday Night Late Snacks - ackkkkkk!
- frozen low cal yogurt pop
- halloween sized pack of twizzlers
- mini tootsie roll
- mini whole grain wrap with laughing cow cheese and hot sauce
I was up until 4am or so watching movies so it was a long time between dinner and bed but still - bad Erin!

*No Exercise besides the walking from transit to my appointment (15 min each way) and walking to the mall and around and around and around it haha (so a good hour and a half walking there) but was so beat that I didn`t fit in anything else that day

- smart ones frozen turkey and potato dinner with side of broccoli and wasabi drizzle
- handful of jelly bellys (seriously - gack, so bad!)
Dinner (at Grandparents house for my sisters belated Birthday)
- barbequed chicken thigh no skin, 1/2 cup couscous with tomatos, broccoli, carrots and celery
- delicious delicious homemade bun (I only have these a couple times a year so it's worth it)
- small sliver of dairy queen ice cream cake- just the middle with the chocolate cookie part, I gave the ice cream part away

*1 Good hard hour on the gazelle + various ab work

Breakfast
- reduced sugar oatmeal with low cal yogurt
Snack
- 2 rice crackers and a pretzel
Lunch
- fat free ham, dijon and light laughing cow cheese on weight watchers whole grain bread
- baby carrots with tbsp hummus
Snack - It was a work social thing - these both were sooooo small but prob still lots of calories but I chose two and stuck with that only
- mini Parmesan crisp with 1/2 tsp goat cheese and tiny slice of red pear
- mini pancake thing (maybe 1.5inch round) with horseradish and tiny roast beef piece
Dinner
- mini ham stick (like pepperoni but only 45 cal and ham instead)
- sesame tofu broccoli stir fry with half delicious homemade bun

So not perfect but getting back to it. I`m DEFINITELY off to do an hour on the gazelle after posting this and anything else I can get myself to do haha.


Back on Traaaaack :D

I Looooove St. Patricks Day so Ill be going out Thursday straight after work to my local fav pub. Unfortunately that doesnt leave me a lot of time tomorrow and Thursday to fit things in. Im going to make time for at least Level 1 of 30 Day Shred before I head to the movies after work tomorrow. Then I have to come home and get showered and everything ready for Thursday.

The pub has baaaad bad food though. My only ok options really are the margharita pizza (obv just part of it) and the blt on whole grain (no mayo - maybe they have dijon or something...)

I have one piece of ham and pineapple pizza at work right now so Im thinking I might eat that on the way because even though its not a perfect choice I think sticking to that one piece and maybe bringing along some baby carrots and a granola bar would be good. Well see what I can figure out. They have damn good chicken fingers there too tho ;) Depends on how good I want to be the rest of the week :p

Also that means no workout time on Thursday - just dancing my butt off ;) but as long as its not a multi-day break I think it will be fine.
 
Have fun definitely make sure to dance a lot lol Hope you have something cute and green to wear ;p

Yay yes hopefully lots of dancing will be happening - our favorite dj is playing so there will be good tunes at least :) I have a whole ridiculous (but cute) outfit ready to go - I looove themed parties - any excuse to dress up ;)

Im off to the movies now (haha Gnomeo and Juliet ;)) so Ive packed a bottle of water, 2 x 45 calorie gummy packs and a 100 calorie pack of chocolate pretzels so i wont be tempted to snack there :)

- 100 cal pretzel snack pack
 
Good luck with the shred! I learned some amazing exercises from it.

Thanks :D Yeah I really like it. So far just doing level one every few days to mix up my regular cardio but a lot of the moves seem to be helping and I hope it gives me a more toned look over all than just cardio alone :)
 
So just enjoying my day off work today and writing this up quick before I do some time on the gazelle and then my sis is coming over for dinner and shows :)

Pattys Day was lots of fun and the drinks I did have must have been strong (or maybe it was that shot of tequilla - ick haha) because I didnt end up having too many and considering we got there after work at 5pm and didnt leave until around 1:30am. The place was just nuts but it was fun and did lots of dancing. As per usual for me I lost my nice mac compact but at least it wasnt my new lipgloss - I always seem to lose makeup at the bar. Garg!

Anyway, havent done much today, ran a few errands so ended up walking for about 20-25 min and Ill do 45-60 min on the gazelle other than that its been a quiet day - mmm sleeping in ;)

Work Party (I counted this as part of my dinner)
- one mini square of veggie whole grain pizza (maybe 2inches squared), 1 cucumber sushi roll, 1 tuna sushi roll and one plain chicken wing
At the Bar (rest of my dinner)
- 100 cal granola bar, baby carrots and a chicken strip and 2 or 3 fries

I had probably two glasses of beer, 2 fruity shots, 1 tequilla shot and a few vodka sodas over the rest of the night - so not great but not bad :)

- havent had it yet but getting a chicken donair with my sis tonight. I havent had one in months and I chose good food the rest of today so I could splurge a little on it and enjoy it tonight.

So did a good 50ish minutes on the gazelle last night and had that chicken donair an a half broiled tomato with parm. om nom nom :)

Probably just have another frozen smart ones or lean cuisine tonight or a sandwich and veggies and then heading out again tonight for some dancing.

Having a super super lazy day today but hopefully I can get in at least Level 1 of 30 Day Shred or 30 min on the gazelle before I have to start getting ready.

Added a few fun Patty's Day pictures :) The band had a fan on the stage - it was awesome - mmm hair blowing while dancing - sooo fun! haha - makes you feel very fabulous ;)

Thanks Tally - it was definitely lots of fun - I'm a sucker for anything themed so Patty's Day is way up there :p

I always seem to lose something at the bar, I just can't seem to keep my tiny purse zipped up and not full the edge haha. Oh well - another excuse to pop by MAC this week and play ;)

I know what you mean about the counter ladies - sometimes I just want to be left alone to browse all the goodies and play with everything without someone always there haha. But depending on the store I've had some pretty helpful gals/guys be able to find me that perfect thing I was looking for so maybe you'll have some luck with your coverup :)
 
So today was awful at work - horrible horrible day :( I was cover the phones and was just playing on the computer (we're allowed to go to good trusted sites like canada.com and ctv and google news and stuff) I had something I wanted to quickly look up and without even thinking plunked it on google and of course the site I clicked on had an awful virus/spyware on it and I buggered up the whole computer - the IT gal had to work on getting a new one ready up there for hours and they'll have to clean up the old one. I have no idea what I was thinking - it's just such a habit to search whatever I want at home that I totally forgot - it was something dumb too like my bmr rate and I wanted to try a few different sites. argggg!

So fingers crossed I didn't do too much damage and I still have a job this week, but I have a funny feeling this isn't going to go over well :(

So basically I wanted comfort food when I got home.... I kept the portions down and it wasn't too bad but I had a good sized portion yesterday too for dinner so just seems like a lot of food.

Blech I just feel awful about this whole thing ... :(

Dinner @ Parents
- few whole grain crackers with goat cheese
- small slice meatloaf, mashed cauliflower, asparagus, spinach salad with brie, apples, walnuts
- half a tiny piece of strawberry pie - but I didn't eat the crust - it was maybe 3 mouthfuls if anything

*50 minutes on the gazelle + 50 various ab work

- 2 mini creme eggs (worst day ever today - uggg)
Dinner
- cup to cup and a quarter of whole grain pasta with tomato sauce and 3/4 cup chicken breast and some cherry tomatoes
- broccoli with light laughing cow cheese
Post-Workout Snack
- 1 cup unsweetened chocolate almond milk with 1/4 tsp splenda

50 minutes on the gazelle and I`ll do some minor ab work before bed

i saw you have blueberries for beakie - JEALOUS!!! Here it s so expensive - i cd hardly ever buy - like once a month - a handful costs like €3 (i guess that over $4) i really dont know currency rate change.
that sucks about the computer - sounds like i could get into this kinda trouble ...me and technology hahahah!!
What is a gazelle btw? is it like a cross country trainer?

Sorry about your sucky day :( I'm sure they wont be that mad, though. It was a one time mistake. I used to go on the internet all the time at my old job and I always got in trouble for it but they never fired me! Can see why you fancied some comfort food though!

By the way those photos from St Patricks day are awesome! You're so cute!
