Yay thanks so much ladies
it really is nice when things start to pay off - even just a little. A nice reminder to know what I'm working for
Today was pretty good - not a great day at work (just one of those days I guess) but food wise it was not too shabby considering I had that dinner out at the Pasta place tonight with former co-workers (we get together every few months).
I just got home though and need to be in bed in 2 hours. So definitely time to fit a good workout in there - even just an hour on the gazelle. I'm off to put my runners on now so I have no excuse. I find that works best. My routine is usually I get home from work, change right into my workout clothes, have dinner then hop to it and then it's done and over with
Anyways, here we go -
March 3, 2011
Breakfast
- special k with low cal yogurt and half handful of blueberries
Snacks
- light rye wasa cracker with light laughing cow cheese
- one pretzel
Lunch
- mini whole grain wrap with 3 slices turkey, cut grape tomatos, and tzatsiki sauce
- baby carrots, various pepper strips, snow peas and grape tomatoes with leftover dip
- one chocolate
Out for Dinner
- quarter chicken (white meat) - I only ate maybe 1/3-1/2 and took off the skin and I got two sides of broiled tomatoes with garlic and fire roasted zucchini so yumssss!! I still have a lot of the meat and half the veggies for leftovers. I did have a small piece of bread with salsa dip and saved the salsa for my leftover chicken
I felt proud that everyone else got gooey baked cheese pastas and I avoided them. I did really want the chicken (and those are two of my fav sides) and it helps that I can't really have the dairy (lactose) and I thought of how much happier my tummy would be later if I just passed on it. So Yay! I also just had water and avoided the sodas, wine and sangria everyone else had (the price factor helped in that a bit) I'd rather save my booze calories for this saturday
As long as I get that workout in then I'm still on a good track this week
Thanks everyone for all your support - Hope you all have a great Friday!!
