PMS pain. Ouch. That might explain the weight gain on the scales this morning. I dont care because I am feeling better than ever!
The boyfriend called last night to say his battery went flat so he would be late, I secretly went 'yessss' cause that means I got to go for my run! I ran the WHOLE 4km without stopping... ok I stopped once to walk up this MASSIVE hill but I ran most of the way up! Tonight I plan to do it without stopping at all! Im also adding and extra 1.5km to my run.

I got some new running shoes! I had my old runners for like 2 years so it was time to get a new pair. I also have really dumb feet, they are really narrow and I have a really high arch, which makes me roll my feet. Im supposed to wear orthotics when I play sport but because I havent played sport for so long I havent been wearing them when I run. So I bought a REALLY good pair of shoes with an inbuilt arch and specifically designed for my stupid feet, they are Asics Gel Kayano's - the best womens running shoe (asics) you can get, and cost me near $200 :| except they were on sale down from $260. But seriously my feet feel SOOOO good when im running now, and my feet dont get all sweaty like they did in my old shoes.

Today has been going good so far, had my breakfast, put a bit too much vanilla essence in so they tasted funny. The banana evened it out though, wasn't too bad. Just gotta have my coffee now. I cant wait for lunch! Im having Soy & Linseed Bread with baked beans. Mind you it is only a tiny tin of baked beans, WEENY! They are very cal dense however and I think it will be enough.

Pay Day Today! Its a big deal because I only get paid per month, which is so unbelievably tough!

Im off to do some work!

Wow... today has been such a good day! I haven't felt hungry ALL day, and all my meals were very satisfying. I feel like I have tons of energy!
I think it's because my breakfast was very substantial, the added oats and banana really did the trick. I might keep doing that, but varying the fruits so i don't get bored. Lunch was really yummy!!
Im going to be having my banana soon (even though im really not feeling like it) so I have some energy to do my run. And then after that I will be having dinner woot! :party: I have never got so exited about eating before! i wont get back from my run till like 7pm so the rest of the family can just wait! I think they're are only 3 of us tonight anyway...

Im going to plan my day for tomorrow :auto: vroooom

I probably had the best diet day ever yesterday!
I ate clean ALL DAY! I came home, and even though I was feeling crappy and it was raining I still went for my run! I ran the WHOLE 4km without stopping, not even up the crazy hills! I got a stitch in probably the last 1km, but I kept saying 'Just get to the next pole', 'just get to the pizza hut' and then I found myself at home! It was great, I was absolutly exhausted though! Im going to keep doing 4km this week, not push it up until next week. It was great to be able to run the whole way and feel good about it!

Dinner was grilled chicken in rolls... yummo! And then after dinner I decided my room is disgusting, so I completly moved it around and cleaned it. I had to move my bed (which is actually broken lol) so that was very very difficult, but I did it and now it looks MUCH better. Couldn't get to sleep last night though... was probably because I was cold or because I hadn't gotten used to my new sleeping position.

Today I have to focus on being busy and not thinking about food, and Ive got to move around a bit more. Im going to have my morning coffee in a tic and then maybe I can do some work hehe!

Going to the gym tonight with my boyfriend, then off to nandos for a protein fix! By the way nandos is a restaurant that serves flame grilled peri-peri chicken, like super spicy. Its REALLY good for you (low fat, high protein, salads) as long as you dont get the fries, cause they are mega bad for you. Everything has 30g+ of protein.

Today is going sloooooooooow... a lot of stuff i can't do until tomorrow, and im waiting on stuff to come back to me.

I know im retaining water at the moment... so my official weigh in will be Saturday morning, im hoping to be below 57kg! I will also record my measurements on Saturday morning too. I will do all of this after my morning run, i know baaad time to do it but I get the best results then teehee.

Was feeling a tad hungry so I had a cup of tea, I think I am getting hungry because I have started using artificial sweetner again... Yesterday I had sugar in my coffee and I wasn't hungry all day... odd...
I have to go down to town and buy wrapping paper and a card, so I think I will have my lunch at around 12:30 and then go down to town at around 2pm, I don't think I could last till 2pm without any food!!

How else do you walk other than on foot?

I can't just 'eat what i want', that has consequences, if you can eat what you want and not gain weight why are you on a weight loss forum?
 
I am taking measurements, but only doing that every month or so. But I know my jeans that were tight a few weeks ago are now falling down my bum! So thats a good sign!

Yeah I couldn't care less about the scales actually, because I am already in a healthy BMI and I don't have any health problems because of my weight I am just focusing on how I look and feel.
I even noticed that I have got upper abs! I was showing off to my boyfriend last night, he got a bit jealous cause he is really into bodybuilding and stuff lol, so a bit of healthy competition there! When we went to the gym last night he did heaps of ab work, silly thing.

I have a head ache ouch.
I was going to go on a run this morning, but for some reason it just didn't work, I think it was because I was doing it on an empty stomach in the morning. I usually go at night so I have some energy, I ran for a little bit but got a stitch so walked fast for the rest. I might just stick to walking in the mornings. So I am going to go for a run later, might cut it short around 3km or I might even go to the park and jog laps, it's kinda nice running on grass! Then I can do some sprints too.

Went to the gym last night, my chest was still hurting from Saturday so I didn't do very heavy weights. i did a LOT of stretching whilst waiting for the BF to finish, I can bend over and touch the ground! This is a big accomplishment for me because I have a really short upper body, long legs and normal sized arms. I want to be able to lay my hands flat on the floor, and to be able to do the splits. I have been able to do this in the past, I did classical ballet for most of my childhood and teenage years, I was very flexible. I have that typical dancer shape which I don't really like, bony thin upper body, strong muscular legs. But im very glad I did ballet as it made me very graceful in the way I move and has given me very good posture...

Im rambling on! Im hungrrrrryyyy!!! Im going to have lunch at 12:30 today so only 45 minutes! Yay! Soy & Linseed bread and baked beans again today, I wonder how long until I get sick of that lol! Not sure whats going on for dinner tonight... mum will probably be making something. She never makes anything too unhealthy, although she has gotten into a habit of cookin french fries, thank god I dont like them! Hopefully it will be something like healthy hamburgers - that would be a good idea actually, making them out of lean mince... having low fat mayo, cheese and lettuce, maybe egg? I shall suggest it to her! Usually she does what i say hehe.

Gotta go to town today in my lunch break to pick up stuff I didn't get yesterday...

Ergh I feel like crap, just really lethargic, and I can't breathe properly. I think I might be a tad stressed, as I get breathing problems when I am anxious. Kinda like athsma symptoms.
So I am unsure on whether to go for my run tonight or not, depends on how I feel I guess.

Wow I haven't been on since Friday! My weekend has been very busy! I was so busy at work on Friday I didnt get on here, I had an OK diet day, although I ate a few more lollies than I would have liked.
On friday night I ran 5km non-stop! I was SOOO proud of myself, I did it in 30 minutes as well so I ran at an average of 10km/hour!
I didnt exercise yesterday as it was my boyfriends birthday. We had a pretty good day, I had a pop tart for breakfast, caesar salad (dressin on side) for lunch and a pizza for dinner. (it had 8 pieces, I ate 5 lol). So not the best day at all for food! And then I had about 6 alcoholic drinks; glass red wine, 2 midori and lemonades, 2 amaretto's and diet coke and another liquor with diet coke. Eek! Ouch.

Going to be a much better day today! Im going to go for a run later in the afternoon, then my bf is picking me up and we're going to the gym. It's around 11:30am so I will be having my lunch at around 1pm me thinks... Not sure what to have yet though. Maybe beef noodles or something.

I am thinking about buying a protein powder, there is an Optimum Nutrition Whey Powder that I would like to get. My boyfriend had the cookies and cream one at one point and it was sooo yummy! I was thinking of adding it into my breakfast in the morning, because I hardly get any protein at that time of day, and I think it would help to keep me fuller. It is 24g of protein per serve and I think only about 3g of Carbs. I think if it was mixed into my porridge that would be good, and then I wouldn't need any sugar or anything because it would have the cookies and cream flavour. Cookies and cream flavoured porridge... yum....
Loadsa carbs today! Im going to do a run after work so I thought I would get a super filling lunch so I have heaps of energy for my run! At around 4:50pm I am going to have a banana and a coffee, as I heard the coffee can help with performance. Then I will do my run at around 5:40-5:50pm.

I was reading Women's Health yesterday and it said a study had been done between people who ate 5 meals per day and people that ate 3 square meals per day, however they ate the same amount of calories. Both groups stayed the same weight, so this maked me feel better about eating 3 square meals a day. I have tried 5-6 small meals a day and it just didn't work for me, I didn't feel satisfied so I was constantly hungry. So I am concentrating on eating 3 large meals per day, a snack around 4pm and then a hot tea or a bikkie after dinner.

I have planned tomorrow's diet, peanut butter and honey sandwich tomorrow! I am quite looking forward to that! I might put it in a roll though, not quite sure yet. Only doing a 4.5km walk tomorrow in the morning, my rest day. Going to also try and stick to 1200 calories as I am not very active.

Lunch was OK.. the pattie was kind of hard, I would have preferred it hot. It was pretty feeling but I kinda had a tummy ache so I didn't feel so great.

I'm thinking about training for a 5km event...

There is one on the 17 August, but it might be a little too soon... but the thing is thats pretty much the last fun run until next year! Maybe I should just keep training and start competing next year?

Rest day today! Walked into work this morning and it was very nice - freezing - but nice. I had a warm beanie on, scarf, gloves! I like walking to work.. it makes me feel good for the rest of the day. I had my breakfast too and I feel mega full! But thats good cause I don't think I will be eating lunch until 2pm. Lunch I am very exited for! PB and honey yummmmo!

I did SOOO well last night! I ate my dinner and that was it! I went to bed a little hungry, I would have had my hot tea but Skins was on and I didn't want to miss anything lol. I didn't sleep too well last night, I watched 'Boston Legal' and then '30 Rock' until about 12am... then couldn't really get to sleep. I find it really hard to sleep alone :(
I also ran 4km straight last night! Took me about 23 minutes which is a good time for me!

Yummo! And the apple at the end filled me up heaps. Oh wow I think I am going to have PB and honey every day, maybe not every day or I think I would get sick of it!

Not exactly sure what the plan is for tonight, the BF will probably be studying which throws my whole schedule out of whack! If this is the case I might have to go for my 5km run tomorrow morning instead.
Thank god my rest day is this Saturday, I am getting 2 wisdom teeth out on Saturday morning, so i dont think I am going to be able to run for a few days :( that's gonna suck!
Im also going to have to take 1-2 days off work and I HATE taking sick days... I have only ever had 2 sick days in 1 and a half years, and that's because one time I had gastro and another time I had a virus. I hate catching up on work, and honestly I love my work!

It is based off of the Coolrunnings.com program they have set up, and it is really easy to listen to it and follow the instructions over the headphones. A 5K is great, especially for your mental mindset of "I CAN DO THIS!"

I did the couch to 5k program a few years ago, and I downloaded it this time around, but cause my iPod was broked I couldn't use it! So I just kinda madeup my own program lol!

I also have found that I can't run to music or anything in my ears, I actually enjoy the actual 'running' and I find music stuffs up my pace and breathing, weird huh?
