M O R N I N G everybody! How's the day going for y'all - probably hasn't even started for most! I'm so glad the weekend's over, especially since not a lot of people post on the weekends but I did good this time. And yesterday was awesome for me, workout wise. So my plan for the day - I've already got my meals plann'd out. (as boring as that is, I don't have to worry about what am I going to snack on? because it's all there. Now - for teh exercise part of the day... I'm thinking today I want to do something non-cardio.. what are everybody's favorite exercises? I need ideas, I'm not that creative. It's also way too early for me.... my boyfriend snores! Haha well that's all I've got to say for now. I'll check out everyone's diaries to see how you guys are doing - just trying to kill sometime until the boys go to work and I can have my bed alllllll to myself hehehe...
 
Hi, I would not recommend eating raw eggs because they may have salmonella and other bad bacteria. I also have not heard that raw eggs are much better for you then cooked ones. I have heard a lot of "make sure you cook your eggs thoroughly".

Sounds like you're doing good on meal planning. I do that do whenever I can. It helps to stay on course and know exactly how much calories you're going to eat, so if you have a sudden craving come up later, you know what you have to work with. :)

As for the exercise.. I may go on the bike for 40 mins or so. I did a big cardio yesterday so I'm kinda pooped from that. Later on I'll squish in some Tae Bo, because my day isn't full without a li'l Billy Banks... and then my weight lifting because my back is better! Yay! And then my pup needs a damn good walk - it's warmer today so I can take him out, he's so sensitive because he's got arthritis - his hips pop! Poor boy. Anyways.. I wonder what I'm going to weight this St.Patty's day! Can't wait to make it through this week! :D

Thanks guys! I'm glad I motivate you :) - I just love being able to talk to you guys when I'm in trouble too! ANyways, I don't know how I'm going to get my exercise in if I can't get to my bike at my mom's house! I was going to bike for 50 minutes! Damn. I guess I'll have to just get the Tae Bo goin' ... just won't be the same though. I can't wait until the 20th when I can cheat :D I am getting so bored of this diet and I'm holding off treating myself until then. OOOHhhhhhh this day feels so long. I wish I could just really exercise - I hate walking for no reason, usually its to my house and back. I could just lay down and pass out until supper right now.
 
walking is boring for me too, I hate going around in circles or on treadmill that does not go anywhere. Whenever I'm walking or riding a bike, I feel like I need a purpose of going somewhere, not just for the hell of it. :) That's the tough part about exercise.
 
You're so close to you're goal though, Elizab3th, don't give up just yet! Just think, only 5 more days of being super-strict and then you can loosen your belt a little for a day :D Sounds so fun!
 
Thanks guys! I substituted my couscous today for some of those crispy mini's
So it evened out - but the salmon.. mmm it was awesome! I'm just teaching myself how to cook, my mom's a great cook but I never really took onto it until now. NOW i'm hooked on FoodTV! :D It's weird but I like to watch it when I'm working out hahaha... how ironic.
Anyways today I did that diet to the T (hurray) and here is my exercise:
8 min. TaeBo Workout
10 Min. 'Crunch Jam'
20 min. walking
1 hour stationary bike
30 Min. Weight Training
I am pooped - I almost just skipped dinner because I didn't want to make it. I am so excited for tomorrow though! I can't weight to weight myself. HAHAHA I seriously didn't mean to write it that way! Gotta go.. see what you guys are up to :)

You know when I first moved out of my parent's house I think the biggest problem I had adjusting to is the meals. I grew up with 3 BIG brothers, and let me assure you they knew how to eat. It was weird to be cooking for one single person and I often felt it was pointless, it took too long for what I got out of it. Then I realized that with a lot of stuff, you can cook a bigger type of casserole or whatever, eat what you need then package it up, label it, and freeze it. It's the perfect idea for days that you don't want to cook, like today! ;) Hope that gives you an idea at least! Keep going strong Hon!
 
Your doing really awesome :) makes me jealous lol... I found my old tae boe tapes, and I remember liking them.. so I just gotta fit time in and do some of it! Keep up the awesome work :)
 
Mornin' Elizab3th :D You are doin' so awesome! I love my tae bo tapes (when I can fit them in, now :rolleyes:)! I like the burn and sweat of it all (hey, I'm a weird one, but then you knew that, huh? LOL).

I like walking here. We live on an island (of sorts) and I get to walk up my massive hill and see one shore and over to the mainland. Its really pretty and makes the walk worth it :D

Hang in there until the 20th :D you're doin' great - keep it up :D
