AYAYYYYY!!!! Well, not about the pain, but about getting your period! I can't believe you didn't tell us about it as soon as it happened! haha.

Wow, that pain sounds absolutely horrible. Are you going back to your doctor?
 
AReally, really glad you got your period. But I'm sorry you're still in pain. I definitely think you should talk to a doctor about it, that sounds like it could be serious.

I'm glad you're trying to get on with things regardless, but don't push yourself too hard if you're not well.
 
AI don't know how to get it into the signature, but if you go to the ticker website (bit of a pain to get to- go to your signature, edit it in BB code, you should see it- click on that and you should get the URL), and edit it on there, you should get a BB code which (if you're using BB code in the forum) you should be able to copy-paste. I did that this morning for weigh in day and will continue to do so until the ticker issue is resolved.
 
Glad to hear your period started! :) Now that we know you ain't pregnant, I hope the pains won't be anything serious. :/

AYou started this once and did great, I'm sure that you will be back to your healthy ways soon eerika. Just look at all the weight you lost so far, you will see that you have a lot less to go until you reach your goal.

Thanks for the support, it is needed! I will push through these bad days... Day after day it gets easier. But Im feeling like starting from the bottom (gained 3 kg in 3 weeks!) even Im 7 kg lighter than the last time. I will be fine! :)
 
Aplease dont get disapointed.We all have ups and down.I myself am having a down but im thinking of all you guys helping me get to where i was and i remember all of your downs and i realize all will be ok caise im going to keep trying!thats what matters.It doesnt matter if you put on a kilo or two.What matters is that you keep trying and fighting.You will reach your goal and all mini goals and we will all celebrate together!

My day went just fine yesterday, I went to the body pump class and eventhough it was a torture I got a nice feeling from it later on..

You re so right! It is all about keeping on going and TRYING to change our own bodies! Without trying we cant get a thing... Exactly this way Im trying to motivate myself in these "bad" days.
 
AI started my 2nd year at the university, 2,5 years left !! Long way to go.. Or it feels like it now, but I should just enjoy this time! It can pass me quicker than I think it will.. Next thing I realize can be that I should do hell of a lot work, pay a lot more bills than at the moment and feed four children!! :D LOL. Well, after 3-5 years I imagine myself a bit like that.. I have to do 3 shift work (exhausting..), I will probably own a house and I would also like to have children. :D Then I may think why I wanted to rush to this situation in my life cos AT THE MOMENT I can just live for myself basically: do almost whatever I want, I can be selfish! I can work out when ever I want and just do things when ever I want. The period when you will have kids and you have a nice house and a husband.. That period lasts pretty long in your life then though. But yea, I wish I could live all the time appreciating my life like that!

My day went just fine..

9:00 Woke up, ate porridge, cottage cheese, rye crisp and few cups of coffee. (~260 cals)

12:00 I ate 120g shrips, 30g couscous, 150g broccoli, 1/2 avocado. (~340 cals)

14:00 I had a can of pineapple for snack at school. (~136 cals)

16:00 After school and before work out I ate 250g quark, some sugarfree juice soup, 1 apple and 1 ryecrisp. (~300cals)

1,5 hour at step aerobic class, almost died.. My legs are so sore from yesterday's body pump! Had a recovery drink after 265 calories.

19:00 My last meal today: 40g pasta, 100g grounded meat, 250g frozen veggie mix (yuck!), some ketchup, 2 ryecrisps with ham and cheese. (~350-400 cals)

Total calories: ~1700


Anyway, my days are going to be like from the Groundhog Day movie.. Every single day same things: wake up, eat, school, eat, school, eat, work out, rest.. Plaaah. This is my life for the rest of this year.. :D
 
AIts hard getting back to eating healhily again, but you've done it before at the beginning of the diet, and you'll do it again! Its not fair that the more we eat the more hungry we are. Your body will adjust to eating less soon, just remember that when your going out of your mind fantasising about your next meal :)

Glad that you are appreciating your days of freedom! Make the most of them :)
 
Hi eerika! Haven't posted on your diary (or anyone else's) in ages, so I figured I check up on you. Looks like you had a wild couple weeks :( I hope all this bs goes away soon so you can focus on getting back on your diet. Grats on the quitting the cigarettes. I tried that for one day I went mad :D

We are the same age and i start 2nd year of university next month!! Im delighted you got your period you poor thing. My god you must have been terrified!! Well done on picking yourself up after eating bad for awhile, i haaaaaaaate eating healthy after enjoying BAD food. Happened to me last week after my birthday( had 4 days of eating like a pig LITERALLY)


I think your a star though!!keep up the fab work deary xoxo
 
ARainbow: Im starting to be back on my routines already, and day after day I try to stay focused. At the moment its just been hard sometimes because Ive eaten 1600 calories, and it makes me feel terrible hunger sometimes. But Ive been thinking to add few hundred calories to those days when I work out. But I will see how much I will lose in a week with 1600 cal /day.

DUDE WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN???! :D You DISSAPEARED and Im very glad to here from you, how have YOU been?? :) Ive had some crazy episodes in my life lately, but Im already getting back into my diet. And feeling great. This time, Im gonna make it happen! This is just such a long process and I try to keep my mind motivated.

Irishprincess: Hellooo there giirl, and welcome to my journal! Cool, its my second year at the university as well. Im studing to become a nurse, how about you?? :) Yea, its so hard to follow the diet some days. Specially when I have to use my energy to other things as well, like to school which is really exhausting sometimes.. And I dont want my diet to suffer from the other things. This is my first week at school, and Ive found SO MANY situations where I could had slipped on my diet, but I didnt. There is always excuses, like snacking at school when friends try to offer you candy and so on.. But Ive decided to keep determinded with this really. And so far so good. :)

AOh no, you disappeared for a while and I didn't notice, I'm so sorry, I have been neglecting everyone for a few days.

How many calories do you burn in a workout? I reckon you should aim for about a calorie deficit of about 700 a day, which will add up to about one and a half pounds of fat a week. It makes sense to eat more on the days you work out, but make sure there is till a deficit otherwise the workout will be almost pointless.

How are you feeling? x
 
ARainbow: Its okay, I havent had time to write here in a few days cos of school. Ive been so exhausted after school that doing my homeworks and following the diet has taken all of my energy.. And Ive worked out for few times also on this week. Im glad Ive friday to monday free! But still, Ive hell of a lot school works to do!

Im trying to eat 1600 calories/day on this week, and we will see how much I lose on sunday. When I work out, I burn about 500-600 calories, but I also always take a recovery drink after the exercise. But of course the only idea is just BURN calories when you re on diet and losing weight, so when I work out I will burn more calories and I can eat a little bit more. I cant really gain any muscle when Im on minus calories.. But sure the physical condition will get better.

Ive been feeling just fine otherwise, we're doing great with my bf and he is priceless support for me! Im amazed how supportive he has actually been with my weightloss project! And it means me a lot..

Anyyyway eatings today:

Breakfast: Porridge, cottage cheese, sugarfree juice soup, 1 rye crisp with ham. +coffee with 1,5% milk (Notice! I changed the milk even lower fat!! :D)

Snack at school: 1 banana, 2 "fitness cookies" (I dont know why I get a huuuge hunger at school at 10-11 am!! So annoying!!)

Lunch: Veggie soup with VEGGIES! :D Veeery low calorie :p and 2 rye crisps with ham.

Snack 2: Nutrilett meal replacement bar 220 cals. (I looove these protein bars.. :p ) + coffee with some milk.

1 hour at the gym and after it I took a recovery drink (about 150cals) The work out wasnt that hard...

Dinner: 100g Salmon, 30g jasmin rice, looots of veggies, 1 rye crisp.


So all this included about 1600 calories. Ive been counting the cals pretty much every day on this week.. And I think I will keep on counting, very simple.. I like knowing exactly how much Im eating.
