Dotty's Diary -Need2go frm 70.5kg to 56 kg !

Hello All ...

Im Dotty... 5'5'' .... Was on the newcomers thread so far... thought I'll begin a diary to record my progress/ weightloss.... :)

Weighed 70.5kg 2 weeks ago .... I joined a gym on May 31st, changed my diet... Created a calorie deficit... .. I weighed 68.9kg yesterday ... Very glad about the 1.6kg (3.5 lbs) loss in the 2 weeks.... I dont look too different yet but I feel amazing within .... Super active & fit already ...

I am aiming at 60kg by the end of September.... and I want to reach the 56kg goal ...theres no target date for that ...

Readin all the diaries, tips and weightloss revolutions of members on WLF has triggered it for me.... This time theres no stopping me... Will look like my hot version soon :cool: hee hee !!

2 hours work out at gym yesterday !!

Runnin nn cross trainer 20 min each

3 sets of the routine ....
Push ups
Jumpin Jacks
Lunge with twist
Seal jack
Bicycle crunch
Side lunge
Triceps - bench dip
Crossover fling??? not sure of the name
Body weight squat


Felt lighter n wonderful in the mornin .... :D ...


Food -

Breakfast - Oats
Lunch - 3 bread slices with some tomato sauce
Dinner - i'll have 2 bread slices and omlette

No rules broken so far for today ... Gym starts in another 3 hours... happy today ! :D

There's that Yummy Delicious Juicy fresh fruit cake in the fridge ... God!! Help me....

Hey !!!

Ydays Workout was good.... 5:30 - 7:45.... the same 8 exercises - 3 times... and 1 hour cardio .... I could run better yday cuz Ive started to feel light.. Thanks to the wonderful playlist on walkman ....

Wont be able to go to gym from tomo ... Home callin !! ... Shud control the chicken cravings... I wish to come back n get back on track on monday .... Weight training begins monday !! Oh how I love my trainer !!

I'll give my max today !!!

Great!!! I see you are working hard at yourself, so i guess there wont be any problems for you to reach your aim. Congratulations with excelent beginning and good luck

I overdid the workout on Tuesday.... and I didnt feel good in the gym last night.... Feverish :( .... Worked out 1 hour lesser than usual .... cut short runnin by 20min ... Hmmmmmmm .... Not feelin too good yet... Goin outta town ..... no gym till monday :O .... hope to weigh in my goal of 67ish on saturday ....

Good rest tonight should bring my health back to normal.
 
4 days of no gym has put me down .... feelin low coz of so many other issues.... hmmm .... bad mood bad mood bad mood.... i have some other issues to clear b4 i hit the gym today?? .... I don wanna see a weight gain this evenin ... dreadin tht.... damnnn car shud get fixed asap ... aaaaaargh !!! cant seem to cheer myself up today ...
 
Hi Dotty! Welcome to the diary forum. I'm a newbie too just recently found this site myself, and happy I did.

Looks like you are off to a great start both with your diet and exercise. ;)

I did have a good start but I havent worked out since 5 days and I feel awful abt it.. hope to get back on track ..... Im hittin the gym today .... :D ....
 
5 days off gym can feel so bad.... I have been eatin a lot since thursday and ufffffff i cannot see a gain in weight.... hmmmmm .... Gym in 3 hours.... Weight training and cardio today .... !! :(
 
Massive start to the week (minus Monday)....

30 min of cardio .... and then the following list of exercises...

  • Dumbbell Squat
  • Chest Press (asked to do wit dumbells n lyin down on mat)
  • One arm - Triceps
  • Shoulder Press
  • Dumbbell Lateral Raise
  • Upright Rows
  • Dumbbell Curl
  • Dumbbell Hammer Curl
  • Kickback - triceps
  • Tricep extension - 5kg dumbbell
  • Crunches with dumbbell in hand

My trainer tells me I need to do cardio plus this routine - 3 reps daily :eek:... for 6 full days :O :confused: ... I feel like its not useful ... can someone please tell me the benefits of these exercises .... I think its useful for my fat arms.... But my problem area is abs n thighs and hips and all tht ... Lower body really !!! Get the picture?? ... hmmmm ...I prefer lower body exercises ....
Pretty Please .... Shall I ask her to change my routine...?? I didnt discuss this with her yet ....

Please dont mind the whiny tone :piggy:.... I really wanna put my time to good use...

I sooooo wanna see a change in my weight... Weighin in on saturday again ... I wanna change the weight ticker sooooon !! Baaaaaa ...

Same workout yesterday... Added exercises for sides and abs... Twas perfecto...

Done with THAT time of d month & I feel better now.

Todays and yday breakfast - Oat meal
Lunch (2 days) - 3 roti with chicken
Dinner... Rice -Oops...
Todays dinner - shud b 2 Roti n chicken !!!

No snacks Dotty !! No way snacks !! ;D

I love WLF and the people I got to know here...

30 min jog - 12kmph for 4 min :D ... myy all time high.. :) hate tht slim girl in the gym runnin for so long on high speeds.. :x ... I think I completed 3.5km and calories burnt = 230 ..
Upper body work out - same as yday ....
Sides exercises... abs were a killer...
hmmmm !!!

I wanna lose the humps / hips.... the fat thighs...

very slight stretch marks are visible...

BF - 3 roti n chicken
Lunch - 3 roti and Beans
Dinner - ??

Feelin ok today .... hate hate hate hate whats ahead this wednesday .... some anger attacks and hate bursts ahead .... Not happy about it.... I shud not go thr acco to ME .... but the good thing to do is be there... and do my duty as a good wife.... But Im not Jesus..... Hmmmm .... God help me deal with it.... okieeeee off track ....

Fab day yday ........ I did 4 sets of the Upper body workout.... Pumpin' Iron has never been so much fun .... Trainer rocks !! .... I will weigh in todayyyyyyyy

Yokay ... dropped down from 68.6 kg to 67.3 kg.... :) another week starts :)

Its amazin to see the dip .... I was holdin a 3.5kg sugar bag yday and felt wow to notice how heavy 3.5kg is... :O ... mannn another 7 kg to go .... Shud loook wow for my bday :)

1.3 kg loss in 2 weeks.... :)

aimin at weighin 64kg by Aug 1st.... gotta reach this in order to make 60 by oct 1st possible... woo hooo .. everydays a game and its so much fun ..... im a total sleepy head today though ... hope the workout goes good....

July 5th
I was very lazy yesterday and I thought I'll jus do 10 min on treadmill and leave... But thanks to my trainer... She pushed me too far than what I cud do myself....

Finally the upper body workout has come to a close...

It was 20 min - jog (Yeah, Im reducin my cardio time , quit cross trainer n cyclin ... lazy me :toetap05::(:()

Legs
Leg Extension Exercise (That chair thingie)
Sumo Squats
Jump Squats
Walkin Lunges
Step up (1 feet)

Abs
Incline crunch
Incline leg raise
Leg raise crunch - (I guess thts wat its called)

Then some exercises for the sides (hips) with dumbells and barbells and rod.... I like these as I can feel a lot lighter/not fat?? after the day I do these...

Well all these were total killers.... I was gaspin for breath after 10 reps of .... n I was made to do 3 sets... and then I sneaked out of the gym ... before my trainer cud c me...

Im so lucky tht my work doesnt require me to stay late hours ... last yr I had to giv up gym coz of work ... Phew !!!

Food !!

Dinner last night - RICE with potato curry
Breakfast - Oats ... jus had sm stupid oily snacks.... :x ... shudnt be more than 150 cal though .... I dono ... :x .... gotta control ..
Lunch - got steamed cabbage and 3 roti packed .....

okieeeeeeeeeeee im done ! :D :hurray:
