Dollys Diary, gettin there 10 lbs at a time

I don't think your giving yourself enough rest and recovery time, 6 days at the gym + shred everyday is to much, you need a couple of days each week for recovery. What are you eating after your workouts ? if your not replenishing your glycogen stores recovery will be delayed and if this is done everyday then burnout and negative exercise progress soon follows.
 
I am drinking a syntha 6 protien shake mixed with silk soy milk like right after i get home so i do get the protien back in my system, i guess i dontknow how to judge the ammount of rest time i need without feeling like im "slacking"
 
meh i woke up with a headache today so i took an excedrine and it feels like its finally wearing off thank god i hate working with a headache, i havent gotten one in so long as well so it was weird to get one after this long while, i think as far as taking it easy with hte working out i plan to today, instead of for going for the intense workout on the elliptical im just gonna go on it for eh 20 minutes lower resistance so i dont wear myself out and not do the 30 day shred tonight tho i loved what shred was doing for me i really felt a change inm y clothes and how they fit and how tight my stomach was feeling, not like it was pooching out, but i'll be okay ill start a new tomorrow if im feeling the energy back, taking one day at a time and sticking with the calories thru this tired phase. I hope its a more evenful day at work i find when we are slower i feel more tired cause im not really doing too much when im just waiting for a haircut to come in
 
The protein is good but you also need some carbs preferably High GI within a 20 minute window of finishing your workout. It is the carbs that replenish your glycogen for energy and the protein is for muscle repair.

Oohh so do you suggest something like does that taste good because hoenstly if if it doesnt taste remotely good i cant drink it eat it what not you know, i love syntha 6 just because of the amazing taste of it and i know its helping me, maybe theres something thats a mixture of the protien that syntha 6 offers and the high GI ?
 
Some good Hi GI foods are dates, melon, or raisins are good to have in addition to the protein shake your having, you don't need a special shake.

The difference between hi GI and Low GI

High GI is carbs that absorb into your system quickly and Low GI carb take a long time to absorb. Most of the time low GI carbs are better to eat both for weight loss and longer lasting energy but Hi GI has its place at specific times like straight after a workout.

I can't make any suggestions about your shakes because I generally never have them

Oh great well ill stick with my shake cause it really does give me that boost i need, lemme check the container on the carb information/ so it says it has 14gs of carbs per 1 scoop, should i still add some raisins to that cause thats what ill probably end up eating as an afteworkout snack
 
Today was a suprising weigh in at 214.0 i mean makes sense i did finally use the bathroom idk if that makes anyone wnat to read this diary or not buuut idk i feel slightly better still a lil extra worn out im going to be getting some raisins to eat along side with my protien shake after the gym, heres to that working! weeewt
 
Today is a newww neww day, yes I didnt work out yesterday I had a headache took a nap and was going to go when i woke up but still had the freakin headache, well i guess yesterday was my day off from the gym I am getting use to the idea of taking days off without feeling bad for doing it and having the inspiration to just continue on with it the next day. :]

Welllll i know i havent written in here in a while but no fear no fear im still on track i took a little less time at the gym since i was slightly burnt out but kept on with a regimen of atleast going even if it was for 20 minutes. But feeling slightly more energetic I have some goals i need to meet that is i have eh 2 weeks to lose 5 lbs to meet my october goal its doable i know it is. tmi tmi tmi ive been really stuffed up even tho ive been getting in plenty of fiber idk whats up with that i just dont know.

Well ive decided to list out my rewards they may change as the months roll around but at this very moment my rewards for my weight loss are this


200lb by begining of december are my owl pieces very excited.
180lb by middle/end of february getting my sleeve fixed/finished (huge happyness for me)
160lb by end of april I am getting 2nds in my ear lobes, probably pierced at a 8 guage :O
140 by june thinking that I will get my septum repierced
and my final reward will be ..
125 JUST reaching it in general I will get my feet tattooed with the lyrics on it ive been planning for a while


I know these are all modification rewards but mods are expensive tho the most expensive rewards will be the tattoos for sure i really just want to reward myself with something I know I love, and im just a weird girl that loves weird stuff.

Love your tattoos as well - I got a new armband not long ago, stars and swirly bits. LOVE TATTOOS! And Derby! I've been going to the local games, so awesome. I'm so tempted to sign up for the Fresh Meat program :)

thanks...ive just been a deadweight pretty much for 2 weeks like total slacker im not sure what brought it on probably a turn of events, im on vacation this week so idk ima attempt todo atleast 30 day shred again once a day i havent been to the gym cause i had an issue with the routing number they had taking the money out of the bank for my account there and i just havent been motivated to fix it ;/ im just gonna try and maintain this week and next week go back to the grind im aware of my motivationatm and its not very high for some reason i think its cause all last week i had this major tooth ache and then i was dealing with things with my ex who is currently still my husband but we still live together yeah complicated ;/
 
Some how? Ive lost weight thru this rut, around 2lbs which is great for me but baffles me how im doingit granted my eating isnt awful but it could be better. Awh well.

wow....kind of cool to see someone in the same area on here... i'm from around ocala (cannibals represent) i 'm starting out at 235 and you look way better than i do at 230 than i do and i'm 6' "3.... i cut out all drinks except for water and a instant breakfast with milk a day...

on another subject.....i was living with my ex for the last 2 and a half years... we have 2 boys (2 and 4) and have been living separate for about 3 weeks now... it's been hard but it's going to be what is best for both of us... it may not be easy but we were toxic to each other... always checking in on what the other was doing and making sure the other wasn't talking to anyone else..... stuff like that can make you go crazy after a while.... but we never fought... we are both doing good so far so it can be done...
