Goals goals, ill make them for sure, im resting in between 225-230 fluctuating. My current goal is to be 215 by may 26th, I am determined to make it, and will find some way of doing cardio with my injured knee, im deffinately thinking of finding an elipitical somewhere, even though im staying with my mom and space is getting cramped its the best way for me to do my own exercise thing without feeling overwelmed without the idea of being able to get to the gym. I have a long term goal of being at 120-130 by the summer of 2011, im going on a cruise babbbyy, and it is vital i feel completely happy with my body and will not fear the random frolock on the beach, or jumping into a pool on the boat. I have ideas for how im going to do this...im buying a supplement drink to try out for bfast atleast switching one meal out a week, and buying little healthy things to eat throughout the day at work, being a hairstylist its difficult to get a full bit of time to eat and not rush eating, and not being tempted to step next door to chinese or subway. Though i am lucky because there is a publix grocery store right next door and i always have the option to grab a salad, or fruit for lunch i just need to disapline myself to make the right choices. And as far as dinner goes im going to try this whole have a chicken week, and make chicken differently each day for that week, then switch to a fish week and do the same for that. and inbetween the cardio ill be doing, focus on certin areas of strength each day i work out, arms, back, abs, legs. Im using a rubber band, and a large 65 mm ball for those work outs, ill get there ill get there ill get there! i will.

How realistic is your goal? Its realistic because i can do it, i just have never tried to before, i sit and complain about how big i am, when i havent done anything about it, now im doing something about it

When will you start? well being today is easter..hah tomorrow.

4. Why do you want to lose weight? To feel better about myself and healthier to be able to feel the need to be active all the time, to be secure with my body image, and have no worries of what i look like when i go to the beach, plus im going on a cruise summer of 2011 gotta look great for that

5. Do you want to lose weight for a specific life event such as wedding or reunion? well like i said above next summer im going on a cruise but thats just a perk to motivate me

6. What obstacles could get between you and your weight loss goals? eating at work is always an issue, though i can change that with motivation of making something before i leave for work. oogh and sweet tea and mt. dew

7. Why do you think that you now have a weight problem?genetics, pregnancy from 3 years ago, and not bouncing back after that c section followed by a galbladder removal

8. What lifestyle changes do you think would help you lose weight? no more sodas, getting motivation just to do it!

9. Have you lost weight in the past? If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight? only small bits of weight like 15 pounds when i was vegan i went to 150 and looked half decent but i really want to loose weight and be toned.

10. Why do you believe that you did not lose weight or you gained the weight back? I was in a relationship for 6 years that involved lots of fast food, ordering in, never exercising, and then a pregnancy.

11. What, if anything, has not worked for you in the past in helping you to lose weight? Why do you think it did not work? I just didnt try hard enough, never got that 100% motivation.

12. Would you try writing down all food and drink consumed for a given period of time? I would try but im terrible with that sort of stuff, but i will write it on here. and be honest too...

13. Do you cook at home often? If so, what do you cook? Id love to cook at home more often but staying with my mom and shes helping me out cause im seperated and trying to get on my feet i cant be entirely too picky of what i eat there unless i pick it up for dinner

14. How often do you go out to eat? Where do you go? sometimes everyday at work for lunch, mostly subway. meatball marinira

15. What are your three favorite foods?meat ball subs, hot pockets, pizza...

16. What are your three favorite restaurants? Subway, carrabas, mc donalds

17. What are three things you can do differently when it comes to food? no soda, more water, and less tea

18. If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different? My upper arms would be tight and toned, my belly and back would be tight and toned, as well as my upper legs, with no extra hanging skin from weightloss, my face wouldnt be as round as it is. Oh id like a little extra booty, but in a good way.

19. Do you eat when you are not hungry? sometimes not. like if its late at night and im about to go to bed ill just ignore it for the most part cause i know food is much harder to burn when you're sleeping, and its working to burn food instead of resting up

20. Do you binge eat (large amounts at a time)? uhm not really.

21. Do you hide your food or eat in secret? naw hah ill almost make it comical be like maaan im hungry again!

22. Do you eat when you are sad, nervous, or depressed? not in a long time actually not eating is whats happened int he past

23. Do you eat as a reward? nah

24. Do you eat while watching TV or using the computer? yeah but i dont eat at the table currently but thats a trend id like to change when i get my own place

25. What do you normally eat for a meal? well dinner lately has been chicken, some sort of beef, or a hotpocket

26. What type of snacks do you eat? sunflower seeds, and pickles mmmm

27. In terms of exercise, what, if anything, are you currently doing? roller derby when i get my knee healed up, and right now im using this exercise band that i need for my knee to do other exercises
28. Where do you go for exercise? right now at home, then when i get back to derby it will be practice at the rink 1-3 times a week for an hour and a half

29. What, if anything, are your three favorite types of exercise? roller derby, eliptical, and my exercise band, the last one isnt particularly a favorite but its what i can do now

30. What is your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly motivation to move towards your goals? right now i have two goals first one is to be 215 by may 26th, next one is to be down to 190 by the middle of summer. Realistic goals if i go past that then great.

31. Do you have rewards for certain goals?Not yet but i should think of some and not buy certin things except when i get to that goal.
 
today was fairly good for the most part, i had no sodas, and only two glasses of sweet tea, i ate fairly well today well ive eaten better than what i have in the past. It felt good to drink water today, and i was doing really well with the smoking till i had my own personal ex drama and it tottally stressed me out, but i smoked instead of stressed eat which i dont do anyways, and hopefully will never switch to that. but tomorrow is a new day with a new perspective on life and ways of being a better person and a healthier person.
 
lalalalalalala i tried to buy a tape measure today but apparently kmart doesnt sell them and i didnt get to go to the grocery store to look. tomorrow i guess i wanted to measure my body to see where i stand with that. oogh scary. I did well today atleast i think i have. No sodas again even tho i was tempted with one in the fridge i went for the orange juice though i dont know if that was any better. but ah well i felt good cause it has calcium and whatjignot in it. Im hoping to head to the gym this evening with a friend if she plans on going, we shall see...if not its off to bed early for me ugh another early morning...yawwwn
 
TADAAAAAAAAA measuring tape, plus it goes back in so its not all flopping all over the place and im having to wind it back up...yay. Uhm i also found out the gym across the street from me well i didnt even know it was a gym till a co worker told me about it, its a physical theraphy place and they have a gym there that allows you to have a member ship for uhmmm 20 dollars a month, hoorah. Ugh work it was godawful slow today. I just want to make the world silky smoooth....

Anyways tomorrow im going out to gainesville with a friend to go look at wedding things for her, and get some tools from the beauty store, and possibly cut two friends hairdoos. we shall see about the last part. Today i felt like i did much better with eating, well consistant and im happy about that. really happy about that.
 
Well woke up today with plans in mind and alllll of those plans fell through had a pretty miserable day from a tooth ache to a migraine from last nite rolling over so i did nothing of what i should have been doing, except drinking lots of water, ive been doing that. Pft i woke up weighing 4 lbs less than i did 2 days ago i was like....woah whered that come from the only thing i can put together is that i have been drinking water and pissing like a race horse....i guessss eh tomorrow is a new day, i havent found a ride to work yet ehhh who knows how that will turn out. yey no car. i should walk but freck floridas been getting a lil too hot for my pleasure lately.
 
Wow, I just realized that I get my hair and brows done at the same place you work. I live like a mile from that publix. Which reminds me, I have to get my brows done tomorrow. What are the odds of two people from that crappy little town signing up here the same month?

Had suuuch a great day it was nice to get out of the house and go to the beach, i did fairly well with not eating bad when i went out to eat i had a veggie burger at oasis and it was pretty good, and i drank sweet tea with that instead of a soda, im kinda actually suprised how well im doing with the no soda rule i did have a mt dew the other day but i didnt even finish it, it didnt taste the same to me and didnt give me that refreshment that it use to, which is good! here are som pictures from the beach and the restraunt from today, ignore the time on the pictures i dont know how to set a camera apparently..

I think you did my brows once, around the beginning of the year (Lumpy chick with glasses that keeps boasting about law school.) But I don't expect you to remember me. With all the big hair you see in that place I doubt you would anyway. lol.

I know what you mean about the sodas. The other day I felt like I just wanted a coke with dinner. I ended up drinking half of it and giving the rest to my youngest. The first sip tasted great, but by the second or third it was almost like it was a chore to finish it so I didn't.

We did the beach this weekend too, although in this town you're choices are slim in the entertainment department. If you ask anyone what they did during the weekend it usually involves going to another town if they did anything. Which come to think of it may be why so many of us around this dingy burg are sportin muffin top. :)
 
i was just thinking the same thing, and yeah ptown has the chubbys no doubt about that. i mean look where i work but my manager purposefully hires big girls hah. except the one tiny ass girl we have working there shes a sweetie though. And i do semi remember that conversation but my head isnt wrapping it around a face. Normally it takes me 2-3 times in to remember someone i have to hear their story again and ill be like oooooh right gotcha.

Oh yeah nothing to do here, except if you are into bars and well bars arent condusive to weight loss unless you want to loose your weight in throwing up/hangover. hah. Oh and walmart. We have walmart.
 
i just saw this article on how to get a nice butt, something im concerned with once i lose weight because i dont want to have a flat ass haha, but i mean i honestly shouldnt worry about that since im doing derby and that will even those muscles out but ooo i dont want a flat ass
 
okay today has been a GREAT day. i walked up to the local physical therapy place that has the gym, and i made my appointment and well i got there talked to one of the therapist and shes like okay well i dont want to work your knee too hard yet. So I had a work out plan laid out for me with a chart and everything, she walked me through everything today i did 5 minutes on this ski machine type deal i controlled the speed though with my own pace, then i did 10 minutes on a bicycle mix that you use your arms as well, then i did 10 minutes on the tredmill walking about 2.5-3 mph no incline yet she didnt want to work my knee too hard but i didnt hold onto the bars the whole time i did it, i just walked at a fast speed. then afterwards i did weight training working mainly upper body on a few machines, and knee presses afterwards, once i feel my knee is stronger i will be doing more knee exercises it was great, i have been members of huge gyms like crunch and have never gotten that kind of attention before, plus i only paid 20 dollars for a monthly membership, i was so impressed and happy with how it went. its going to be enjoyable to work there, plus i was shown how to actually use these machines and the right way to hold my arms or legs when doing the weights, i needed this it added motivation and to not get aggrivated to think i wasn't doing the right things for what I NEED. So then i went grocery shopping which was a relief because of the fact im staying with my mother atm and she doesnt really have all the healthy foods i need, and healthy snacks i need for my weightloss, anyways today all in all was a fantastic day.
 
So today is day one of my weightloss when it comes to eating right and the right ammount of calories to loose my weight, i tell you it was hard to start eating breakfast this morning cause i wasnt particularlly hungry but i know once i eat and i go to the gym im going to be hungry no doubt about that. So im eating my greek yogurt with flax seed meal and mixed berries it taste good but im just not starving i guess im use to eating when my stomach is completely yelling at me for it.
 
Good job on eating breakfast! But I know what you mean about breakfast. I should really eat it otherwise I'll be scarfing a block of cheddar come lunchtime. Every time I try lately my stomach seems like it's saying "what the hell are you doing, our shift doesn't start until much later!"

It's kind of funny, since we both have younger kids that means the first thing we do in the morning is make sure someone else eats, but always skip it for ourselves.
 
haha very very very true, but i made myself eat and i actually feel alright now, im just starting to get just a tad hungry but i just worked out for an hour so that could be why so im going to take some almonds to work, and some rice cakes for my snacks today.
 
Manager just was like your stomach is going down...so are your boobs hmmm I'm wearing a 42d I don't think I'm gonna run out and grab a new bra yet maybe tighten the back since my straps are already tighter but I noticed my cup is loser but hmm
 
i just ate dinner stomach is still grroowwling so i ate a pickle i havent hit my calories for the day either ugh its hard when im working a later shift even though i brought rice cakes and almonds to eat for a snack plus i had my salad...my body is like uhm feed me more, and i know i need to eat more its just so hard when i dont have the opportunity to actually do that. so what do i wait a bit see if my stomach stops growing or do i eat so im not going to bed having just eaten. Choices choices. Tomorrow i was going to go back to derby but they changed the schedual for the newer girls so im going on thursday but i want to work out so ill see what i can pull together maybe ill do my derby workout dvd i have that always feels great.
