Diary - Part 2

I find it very hard to correct my own form! I like to go to the gym with a gym buddy or attend classes where the instructor coaches you if your form is incorrect but it isn't always an option.
 
Exercise is going well!

It's great to have someone correct your form, that's why even though I have a pole at home I do classes once a week, not only for the figures but to make sure I'm stretching properly as well.

I know what you mean girls. I have to regularly check with hubby that I'm doing the moves correctly. It is very difficult doing it on your own.

That's cool your husband is helping you with your form. Half the time, I'm not concentrating on the exercise but whether I'm actually even doing it right! Frustrating because I want to get the maximum results for my efforts and not waste time. I don't have a workout buddy or trainer though. Sometimes I'll break down and ask someone in the gym if I'm really at a loss. Different from a DVD of course, but... nobody wants to spin their wheels.
 
I've been MIA so I missed your big milestone! Congrats on getting where you are! I hope you're feeling proud of yourself because you definitely should! :)
 
Thanks guys :). Have reached my goal for now while I'm breast feeding. Would love to lose a bit more. Not completely satisfied yet, but not sure if I ever will be ;). It is a bit of work in progress always. Still maintaining weight at 151. Exercise hasn't been great :(

2 days of exercise in the last 9 is not brilliant. Must do better!

That's great Angel! You are doing amazing! As long as you are still eating well missing a couple of workouts isn't so bad.
 
Maintaining while missing workouts isn't easy, so you must be eating quite well. That's an accomplishment! I missed 3 days in a row b/c of a travel and laziness combo. No baby or motherhood for a valid excuse (hehe). Getting back to the gym this morning.
 
I'm glad you've reached your goal and are working on maintaining. I don't think I'll ever truly be satisfied with my weight either, but then again I haven't even come close to reaching my goal so we'll have to see. Keep up the good work!
 
Hi all. Been off the exercising for a couple of months but maintained between 146 and 150. Will be around here a bit more again I hope and get back to exercising and clean eating :)

Lost 1/2inch off the waist (water weight). Been loosely calorie counting so far since monday. Trying to stay between 1700-2000. More strict today. Watching protein intake and clean eating :). So far am at 400/1700cals, 1 litre/3 of water. My aim is to do 1 of JM's workouts this evening. Her 30ds really helped me during the summer. Going to try kbat or 6w6p today.

Long time no see! Welcome back! Glad to hear you’ve been able to maintain during your absence. I’ve been thinking about checking out Jillian’s 30DS just to mix things up. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. :)
 
30ds is good Mandy. Can be hard on the knees. I modify as and when I need :)

Finally got some exercise in today. Decided to go with the 6week6pack dvd. Did it without dumbbells today and took it very easy. It still made me work but not as much as 30ds used to. Going to have to attempt it with dumbbells next time. Really can't do the side plank exercise, so had to give that bit a miss completely :(.

Also have weighed myself. Down 2lbs from last Monday.
 
Waist measured in at 30inch today. 1inch down in 2 weeks. :hurray:

Just completed 1st half of Jillian's bfbm workout. Loved it but then again I am Jillian fan :)

Well, if the 30DS is tough on the knees it’s probably not going to work well for me. I have bad knees. :( I may still try it though just to see what’s involved. Maybe I could modify too. I have to with Taebo so it probably won’t be as bad I’m thinking.

Great job on the weight loss and the inches lost! Gotta be a great feeling! :)
 
Exercise this week:

Tues - Banish fat boost metabolism (1/2)
wed - rest
Thurs - Killer buns and thighs

Just finished today's exercise. It wasn't great, couldn't do at least 1 move per circuit mostly because of my lack of co-ordination :(. Still better than nothing i suppose. Will see if i am sore tomorrow. Hope i am :). I plan to complete BFBM tomorrow if i don't need a rest.
