Diary? EEK!

reading your posts gives me the munchies :rotflmao:

nice to see you got some time in at the pool, but be careful because theres alot of whackos out there. I use to love going to the pool when I was younger at the YMCA, but that didn't last long enough.

$4 for a pair of underwear? Ever hear of Walmart, TJ Max, or Marshalls? That sounds very expensive.

Mal, granny panties! LOL, mine aren't that bad just yet. Just the bunching. Around here they sell socks for a dollar. Now why cant they sell undies for a dollar?
Victorias Secret has had their undies on sale - 5/25 dollars and the GAP occassionally has the clearance bin for 2.99 a pair... those are my two new favorite places :)

I tried walmart... and if I get the underwear in a bag, they don't have my size. If I get the one's off the rack in my size, they're definitely not a dollar. 3-4 a peice. I like socks. I've always carried the weight in my belly and boobs, so the first place it disappeared was were there wasn't much to start with. I've never had much of an ass to speak of. No wonder I ended up with a white man!

Socks are always a dollar no matter how big or little my feet are. Actually, I got three pairs for 2.50 the other day and was so excited. But then I'm easily excitable :).

Hi Mal :). I think I'm going to get cute silky/satiny ones and say screw the cost. Then I'll never wear them and wonder why did I buy silky or satiny underwear? I do love cotton. Ah well, I've decided to get cute ones with my next check. I'll be afraid to tell my hubby what I've spent on them, but I want cute ones before my vacation damn it!

I didn't post yesterday. I did Yoga yesterday and that was it (besides work). After yoga, I went to my dads and he wanted to show me his basement. I could barely get down his stairs! For cripes sake, my legs felt like rubber after yoga. They never feel that way after running (or attempting to run as I think I should call it).

Other news, my mile time average is 11:29. Beat last week's record by 8 seconds. That's a total of nearly 20 seconds running past my last week stopping point (since I run for time rather than distance and just try to increase my distance each half hour). In two weeks I start to run for distance until my mile time is under 10 min. I'll be doing just one mile. I think my time will be better than 11:29 because that's an average of time divided by total distance. I'm sure my first mile is faster and my last mile is slower. Then, I start increasing my time again and run for time. Then after I get to 20 min, I start to run the two mile until I get that under 19 min (I'm being hard on myself).

So anyway, July 2nd I'm leaving on vacation. I'm going camping with my hubby and kid. For a whole week I will be free from the rest of my family. I could almost cry with joy.

definitely check out VS or the Gap - they both have very cute cotton undies and not old lady cotton undies either... comfy, wash well - and well cute :D (I never ever thought i'd go on about cute undies :) it's amazing what being able to fit into VS undies will do for a person :D

that's an awesome speed for your mile -i'm totally impressed :D way to go speedy :D

Thanks :). I'm really going to focus on that speed though soon. My friend who was just deployed and I have a bit of a competition going. She said when she gets back she'll be able to run 3 miles faster than me. I said I'd give her a run for her money. I started running, then she challenged me to this duel. She does two in about 22 right now. She said she's supposed to be faster based on army standards, but... they haven't kicked her out yet. Keep telling her if she wants to get kicked out, I'll photoshop pics of us in the shower together, in bed together, heck if it meant she would have been able to stay home, I'd have done a video for her. (And Mal, after my previous comment in your journal as well, I swear I'm straight!)

Today food stuff:
frosted mini wheats
bag of peanuts
carrots with ranch
dumplings with veggies for lunch
3 small blueberry pancakes with 1/2 cup of strawberries
one real pepsi- hubby's fault, he was evil and brought it in our home.
some diet cokes and tons of lemonade and managed a bottle and a half of straight water.
I feel like I'm forgetting something
I am- one egg scrambled
one piece of chocolate- the little hersheys thingey of milk chocolate in the size you'd put in a candy dish at work.
Total cals- 1535

I'm just so happy that I only have my neice tonight. My nephew is a handful and I just do not have the patience today. I love my sister's kids, but having them 4 days, sometimes 5, each week is getting a bit much. If I wanted to have kids here every day, I'd get pregnant and have a couple. Well, at least this way, I don't have to pay for the kids...

Ah well. I'm just tired.

Kids. I told my daughter to clean her room for a half hour. Just a half hour. We recently rearranged her room so it's still a bit of a mess.

Instead of putting the tons of stuff on her bed somewhere, like in a drawer or on a shelf, she sat in one spot and "organized" a drawer for a half hour. Seriously, does she think I will believe that?

Okay, off to supervise her "clean her room". Maybe this time she will actually do it.

11:29 is good, and just think your getting better!

LOL, cleaning the room is never fun. Does she put on music or anything while she cleans it? Worked for me, and still does :)

Enjoy your day!

Hi Prakas :). No, she didn't put on music, though she has two radio's in her room, one with a CD player. I'll suggest that to her next time. Today she had less than 5 min worth of stuff on her floor to clean up and it took her 40 min. ARG! I feel a struggle with her starting up. Sporadically she decides that if I want something done, she'll do her best to irk me and not do it. Finally after min 35 I told her I was setting a timer for 5 min and whatever was left on the floor was going in the garbage. That got'er done. Her dad was picking her up and I really wanted it done before he got here. Thankfully he was 45 min late or he'd have had to wait for her. He's never on time anyway.

I went to Walmart with my sister today and found size 4 undies in the packaged bags! But I didn't buy them. I've already made up my mind to buy cute sexy one's from Victoria's Secret. I need plain white one's for work but they had colors on them in the package anyway, so I'll need to find some boring white ones yet. Or I'll just wear the slightly big one's and comfort be damned.

In good news, I measured my belly and hips a day early this week. In the past week, I've dropped .75 inches off my hips! My weight is exactly the same, my waist is the same, but OMG! I was shocked, pleasantly. Maybe that's why I'm having so much trouble with my undies lately. The only thing I changed is adding in some bike riding. I cant think that was solely responsible for the hips, but in prior weeks, never more than a quarter inch per week on the hips. And most often, no change in hip size. My belly has always been my trouble area (along with the boobs, but I fit in a couple of my C bra's again!!! I knew I saved those for a reason!). I've always been slim in the hips, always wore smaller pants sizes than my sister even though she's always been at least 10-15 lbs less than me in weight. Just carry things different.

Well, today, I bought a Taebo DVD and did it. Now I'm sweaty.

I'm skipping blog checking today, so I'll stop in tomorrow night to say hi to everyone. I'm just going to skim the forums then hop in the shower. Before the shower I need to keep guzzling down some lemonade after that DVD!

Woohoo!! Taebo! I like that alot....

Nice that you are getting tiny even tho the scales says not. U might have more muscles than your sis! Heheh.:)

Hey you I love Taebo and yoga - I need to get my damn room cleaned up so I can start doing them agian...

I wanted to comment on you beign too protective and such and your post a little while ago - my oldest is turning 13 next month - so just this year at 12 did I start letting her leave the house and walk to her friends places and do things on her own...she needs to call me when she gets were she is going and if she doesnt I ground her...I jsut started allowing her to walk home on her own and be home alone...we live ina scary world and I always told her it isnt her I dont trust it is the world and everyone else...I also live on a super busy street so I get concerned but I gotta let her grow up and spread her wings to become her...Ive taught her well and I trust her :):):)

Sorry I havent been around alot - Ive just been keeping my head above water well just barely - my eyeballs are half masked with water my nose is in ha ha ha...I still cant give you rep - grumbe grunmble grumbel

The rep I wanna give you is thanx for you support and always puttin a smile on my face :D:D:D!!!

Cerella, no worries on rep :). I'm happy just having you around. I just stopped in by you, too. And right now my daughter is grounded. At the pool I don't wear my glasses so Karma has to always tell me where she is so I can find her easily. Today she said she was going in the shallow area. The safety whistle blew and.... No Karma. She went to play in the sand (where I NEVER let her go anyway). So, no pool for her for a week. I'm still going to go, but I'll have to make her stay home with Josh while I do laps. And no computer. I was so worried when she didn't head over to the towels when they blew the safety whistle. I thought maybe she met a friend and was by them, but after 4-5 min and still no kid... EEK! When I found her, I was more than a bit peeved. Our area a pedophile lives about 3 blocks away. And Karma has no friends in the area that she could walk to anyway. If she was with a friend, I'd let her have a bit more leeway, but alone... no way. In our old neighborhood I'd let her go to the corner alone and cross the street to her friend's house, she just had to cross over in front of our house so I could see her cross the street. She was only 7 then. But it was a safer neighborhood and there were sidewalks, too. Why did I move?

Pinkdolly, I'm definitely not ready to do Taebo again for a day or two at least! It's one heck of a workout! I'm suprised I made it through the whole thing. I had to step it down in a few places and just march while they kept going though. I'll get there :).

Today
Swam for an hour
did my rep log
belly dancing tape

Food-
egg sandwich on wheat with cheese
a handful of strawberries (and be damned what Mal's coworker says).
grilled chicken on a white bun with provalone and a bit of ranch dressing
supper- steamed brocolli with a slice of cheese melted over the top.
snacks (sister had a home party thing)- 6 rice crispies, about a cup of tortilla chips, 2 mt dews.

Well, if you count my sister's house... then I had brocolli with cheese, 6 rice krispy treats, and a handful of tortilla chips for supper :). I purposely only had brocolli and cheese because I was heading to my sis's for her party. I am suprised that I didn't eat more junk while there! I think I did well. About 2100 calories yesterday though.

Yeah, I noticed that after I posted heh....but yeah....I mean that like the smallest serving I have a day is my snacks.....my Lunch and Dinner times I have like.....8 pts and up lol

that's not a bad day at all...

I've been lazy in my diary.

I've been keeping up well. 1400 to 1600 cals a day.

Activity has been good, too. Went swimming yesterday and had a great time.

And now it's already time for bed. I feel 80. What 27 yo goes to bed at 8pm? Crazyness.

Great job on calories. Way to go with the swimming, how fun!! We just set up the pool yesterday, waiting for it to get a little warmer. Have a great day!!

Thanks for stopping in Jellybelly. I do love to swim. Want a warm day? Move to WI. I wonder why I like summer so much? I can barely stand outside without feeling like I'm going to pass out from heat stroke.

Mal, I couldn't sleep anyway. I did go to bed shortly after that post and stared at my ceiling for EVER! I hate falling asleep, even though I'm about there right now again.

Nothing much important to say. Worked today. Cleaned up a lady with diarrhea today. Second time in the past week. Last time I got shit on my shoe (I may have posted that already) and still have not replaced the shoes. Wearing my half size to small cross trainers to work since I cant wear them for anything much else. (different lady BTW). Probably more than ya'll want to know.

And yesterday I took my test on the code book for PTA's (rules, regulations, etc). Passed it. So soon now I'll be licenced! One more test to go, nationals coming up :). Then I'm there!!! Very excited even if I can barely keep my eyes open.

And today, I ran because I woke up yesterday too late. One mile 9:51. Just doing one mile both days this week. Then I'll slowly up my time till I get to two miles now that I'm running the whole time rather than alternating running and walking.
