Diary? EEK!

Cerella, anytime I can help you to use a smiley, I'm happy :). I'm in love with the drooling smiley right now. That is so how I feel about a twisted chocolate and vanilla donught with sugar glaze. Yes, MUST be glaze. No powdered sugar or crap like that. Need sugar glaze... Oh, I'm grooling enough to soak my bra! Crap. Gotta run'n change ;).

Sun, even with the short break, the songs seemed a bit tougher. Still made it through them, but didn't break any of my top scores this time :(. I'm going to try to keep it in at least once a week. I'll miss it too much otherwise.

Talked to my dad for 2 hours on the phone tonight. It was nice, since I dont get to talk to him much. Our work schedules do not line up well, he's a swing shifter. I'm always afraid to call because what if he's sleeping? He gets pretty peeved then, especially if he's on the third shift for that period. It'd be nice if they changed every week but they do a crazy seven on two, three, or four off, then seven on again. So it's hard for me to figure out which shift he's on, especially when he's changing from one to another.

My sister is crazy, too. She works the 6 to 6 alternating nights to days, but at least she managed to shift trade and another person she works with does all the days. But she works the 6 pm to 6 am.

And my mom is psycho, too. She's an 11 pm to 7 am'er. I think I'm the only consistant day shifter in my whole family... And then get up at 4am to top it all off ;).

Well, today being sunday, we had lunch out. Which ended up being dinner out because my daughter and I had lunch plans to go swimming.

Ate on the way to swimming at McD's. Grilled chicken on wheat with ranch and swiss. Diet Coke. Again. Breakfast was peanut butter toast and mini wheats.

Snack was peanuts and that was my only snack today. And only half an ounce. Jeesh, now I feel like I should be taking about baggies with that half an ounce!

Then dinner out was just a slice of pizza. My hubby gave me a dirty look for ordering cheese pizza off the kiddie menu. But, ha, it was good.

So overall my calories were not bad. 1505. Probably 1100 from the sandwich... The sandwich was definitely not over 600 cals, so really not too bad. And I don't feel TOO guilty.

All I want is that doughnut :drooling: :drooling: :drooling: . Oops, need a new top again...

Hello! I just read a post of yours in Mal's diary. You had me cracking up with the ipod comment and stealing money from the hubby.

I got my ipod as I gift, otherwise I'd have no ipod. I seriouly was using a walkman up until last year. It even says "walkman" on it, it's oldschool. I felt like an outcast in the gym with my extra large walkman. lol It didn't have a tape player, only radio, but still it was huge compared to the girls with the dainty ipods. lol

They are well worth it, you can get cheap mp3 players too that are just as good if you don't want all the bells and whistles. Check ebay!

Hi Michelle,

Glad to see you are doing your DDR, I have not used it myself in the last few weeks.

Those shifts your dad has are hectic, I could not even follow what you had written. he is off, no he is on, no off :) makes the talk time more special though.

Hope you have a good week!
Debbie

Hi Jelly. I did ask my hubby about it and he said if I want one he'll get me one. I was suprised he offered to buy it for me right now because I'm not working too much. I told him I'd wait till I'm back to full time though. And I don't need whistles or bells. I even contemplated a walkman with CD player but didn't want to get one and then have it end up skipping when I ran.

Debbie, they ARE crazy! My dad's been on swing shift since I was a baby. After his heart transplant, he got to be on a straight day shift because of his medical condition and stress of swinging shifts. But after a year and a half he went back because pay on straight days wasn't as good.

And right now my daughter is playing my DDR :). She's so cute. She's getting D's and failing a couple, but she's having fun on the beginner level. I leave my mat rolled up right in front of the TV all the time, so it's easy to get to right away.

Mal, cutting back can be good except in how my husband has decided to cut back on me... if ya know what I mean there. When we had our daughter we were down to once a month. Wondered how I even got pregnant that time. Now... I cant even remember if it was last month or the month before! In that department, some adding on would be nice! Really nice!

Well, today was a good day overall. A friend of mine is having quadruple bypass surgery tomorrow (she's 86, so it's not a young friend). We went to visit her and we'll be heading to the hospital on Wednesday night or Thursday night. I told her if she's too tired, to kick me out and I can always come back another day because I don't have anything to do at night, true in a sense, because to make it to see her, I'd drop whatever else I was doing. She's a great lady.

Breakfast, peanut butter toast and a banana
Snack carrots with ranch
lunch spinach, lettuce, tomato, mozzarella, and ranch sandwich
snack licorice
dinner egg sandwich on wheat with american cheese
snack 1/4 cup soynuts

Low on cals though today 1357.

Activity- run 4 min, walk 2 min walked before hand as part of my warm up, too.
Bike ride with my husband after supper. Left kid home alone for a half hour. She did alright and I called her even during that half hour (had my cell phone on me). She knew to call if she was worried in the slightest.

Well, another half hour and I'll be in bed. Work early again tomorrow. AND I have two weeks with five days each for the end of this month! I'll actually have a paycheck with two weeks of full time hours!!! WOW! I'll be rich!

I know what you mean on the DDR....I tried doing some heavy songs I could normally do...but got sweaty after them...(usually get sweaty after 6 or so and I only did 3)
So yeah...I might go play some songs again 2morrow? maybe, maybe not

You make me laugh and smile girl :):):)

ANyway it has been awhile so HI :) and htanx for your sute rep and posting in my diary I appreciate it all!!! I cant give you rep till I spread more around!!! SO I bbetter get on that

Did my DDR again today. And that was it. Not motivated enough to do anything else.

1498 cals today.
Breakfast peanut butter toast
snack 12 frosted miniwheats (half a serving)
lunch spinach salad with chicken and mozzarella
dinner pizza
snack 2 licorice
snack 10 gobstoppers (not counted in my calorie count cuz I couldnt find them and don't have the box)

I'm tired today, so I'll post more tomorrow.

Morning Michelle,

Just stopped in to say good morning. I have a full day of erands so will not be on here much today but wanted to say hi.

hey there michelle!
just stopped by to say hello! after a looong time! congratulations on bein so consistent with the diary! I ll try to come more often!
take care and have a beautiful day :D!!!

Another day... I was reorganizing my daughters room today. We decided to put her dresser into her closet so she has more room for things that matter, like toys :). It actually looks reallly nice if you can pretend that everything that was on top of the dresser and on her shelves is not on her floor and burying her bed. She's at her dad's tonight to we left the bed covered. We'll fix it tomorrow or she can sleep on the couch. She doesn't mind, she thinks it's cool to camp out in the living room. I suppose that's how I can tell she's still a kid. By my age, the couch is punishment.

1198 cals today plus gobstoppers. Dont feel like posting it all though today. I'm tired and posted it into mypyramidtracker.gov already. Not twice, cant do it today.

Activity, other than reorganizing Karma's room, I did 40 min of a yoga/pilates combo. It was fun. I also spent hours wandering aimlessly trying to find a whistle at the store. Found lots of other things to buy that I didn't need, but that's quite all right. I'll spend a couple more hours friday looking for one and buy a bunch of other things that I never knew I needed.

And I need to buy underwear. Mine don't fit.

thats what my brother used to think whenever we had someone over and he had to give up his bed he would just be really exited about sleeping in the floor... I dont think I have ever liked that... or I cant remember... I really really like my bed and my room!
And I need to buy underwear. Mine don't fit.
i also need to buy underwear... its fun and for some reason after a long time I just get tired of wearing the same... i dont know if its just me and my mom LOL...or we are just weird..

oh well hope you had a good night sleep!!
take care!
:D

Hey you - your posts sound tired...the panties thing I can relate to ...Im just droppin in to see how you are doing :):):) and to say hi of course - so hi :):):)

I have to admit, I have recently spent many a night sleeping on the couch because I had stuff on my bed! Guilty!!! lol I don't mind it though, except for the backaches.

I hope you have a great and healthy day!!

And I need to buy underwear. Mine don't fit.

I put that off as long as possible... i had no problem buying new clothes becase i could pass those on but recycling undies is just gross so I avoided spending the money -until I realized all the pants i was buying sat at the natural waist and my undies were total granny panties :)

Victories secret makes really nice comfy undies and pretty reaasonably priced too.

See, before I started to get healthy, I JUST bought underwear. My job recently started enforcing the white undies rule under our scrubs because the material for scrubs is thin and all patterns are easily seen. Also required are not the thongs.

JUST bought underwear. Dont want to spend money replacing something I just bought. Plus, they're like 4 dollars a pair! Too much if you ask me :). Shopko had a sale a while back on patterned undies and I bought a bunch, but they're too big right now. Well, not so big that I cant wear them, but they bunch in the crotch a bit now. I almost feel like I grew a penis.

Alezita, I used to love sleeping in my sleeping bag on the floor. I thought it was great. Now, no way. Not unless my cat pee'd or poo'd on my bed! Then, I'd take the floor with layers of blankets between me and the floor. I now have a floor phobia. Shoes and socks at all times. Someday, when I have my own home again, there will be no carpet. So much easier to sanitize when there isn't carpet.

Cerella, Hi back :).

Jellybelly, I can relate to back pain. Last August I pulled a ligament in my spine and even still have pain or discomfort at times. I'm certain the couch would not help.

Mal, granny panties! LOL, mine aren't that bad just yet. Just the bunching. Around here they sell socks for a dollar. Now why cant they sell undies for a dollar?

Today
Breakfast-
Peanut butter toast and frosted mini wheats
Lunch
2 string cheese and 10 baby carrots with ranch
dinner
fetuccini with chicken
Snack
Pretzels
quarter cup of soynuts
some gobstoppers
Total cals 1599 plus gobstoppers

Activity
My rep log
3 of the 15 min workouts for Dummies for a total of 45. Sort of like light aerobics I guess. Skipped the arm one because I had already done that in my rep log
Bike ride for 30 min

Much more motivated today, except I STILL want a donut so I will go get one tomorrow morning. My daughter will be excited to go to the store for donuts at 7 am with me. Really, she will. She just LOVES getting up that early (can you feel the sarcasm in that last sentence?). Really, she's going to turn into a posessed demon child when I get her up that early. But I want to run by 9 am tomorrow before it gets to hot.

Ah, nothing great to say today.

Ran, my mile time is back down to 11:37. Same time I ended with last week, but I'm running 2/3 of the time instead of half so shouldn't that be better than what it is? Crappy. But oh well. Next week I'll give it another shot. One more week of walking 2, running 4 (minutes that is).

I also went to the pool with my daughter and swam laps for a half hour. Some creepy guy was watching me, so I stopped the laps. Karma comes to my lap lane every 5 to 7 min to let me know where she is and where she's going to be and that she's just still alive and not drowning somewhere. I was wondering if the creepy guy would follow her knowing I was doing laps, so I quit. I can't wait till my regular pool opens back up. They're indoors so now that the outdoor pools are open, they take a couple weeks to clean and repaint the pool.

Food, doughnut for breakfast. That says it all. Calories though, 1403 for the day.

Tomorrow, movie popcorn for supper. Sunday, taking dad out for dinner. So, not a healthy weekend is in the works.

I loved that penis line - hee hee hee - Have I told you lately that i like you :):):)

Down here we can buy panties at the Dollar Store...

That is good that she comes and tells you where she is and what she is doing - my oldest and I use to go to the pool together I did water areobics and she played or whatever she did - she would come and let me knwo as well what was going on - we taught our kids well - too bad abt the creepy guy...

Hi Cerella!

I didn't even think to stop in at the dollar store for undies. I'll give them a try. I go there for stationary, scrapbook supplies, prizes for parties, all and any party supply, even picture frames. But I truly do feel like I got a little sumthin' extra down below with the undie bunch. Some of them aren't that bad, but the low cut bikini's are the worst for me. Why the bikini cut? I dont know...

When Karma was younger if she went more than two feet from me, she'd have to tell me where she was. I can't see. I'm nearly blind without my glasses. Even have big numbers on my alarm clock. But now, when we go to the pool I wear my contacts, but still insist she stops over every few minutes. I hope that I see no more creepy guys at the pool though.

When I go running, I leave her home alone for the 45 min. We even have a codeword at the door. If I don't say it, she's supposed to call the police immediately. I just worry to much I think. It's my mom's fault :). I was 13 before I was allowed to walk around the block by myself. Seriously, my mom was extremely overprotective until her divorce. Then she sort of had a meltdown... and I had no supervision anymore and went a bit wild .

Today:
Activity:
My rep log
In a half hour I'm going to start up the DDR. I'll probably only play for 45 min today.

Food:
Frosted mini wheats
Peanuts
crackers with cheese
licorice
tons of movie theatre popcorn

I didn't eat well for sure, 1877 calories. All bad food, nothing healthy. No fruit, not veggies, nearly no protien.

And the cheese was probably not real, so no dairy. Cheese is the only dairy I get, hate yogurt, hate milk. Guess I just love calcium supplements!
