One more thing

I bitched about the weekend surpluses, but I realized today that since I quit drinking and have been making all my meals (pretty much) and shopping and cooking, I realize what wonderful food I'm putting in my body:

pomegranates, nuts and seeds, dark chocolate, shrimp, salmon, organic yogurt, all sorts of vegetables but mostly my preferences of broccoli, bell pepper, garlic, green onions, red cabbage....and my erotic rice and black and garbanzo beans and all the fruit, including tomatoes...all this shit, regularly, and some of the only junk I eat is pretzels and candy at work, and my Bunny Treats :D Of course, this weekend I was eating shit like chocolate ship cookies (hardly shit, but not good for a dieting bunny) and wedding cake and salty nuts--LOL!!! Oh man I wish I could suck on some chocolate salty balls!!! :D :D :D

Ahem, anyway, my point is that I'm trying. And even though my foods are higher calorie than, say, Lean Cuisine (no offense L.C. lovers)--in fact they are NOT really diet foods--this is a lifestyle. An expensive one at that, but I figger that all this damn good food and antioxidants and fiber and the fact that they're anti-inflammatory and all that....should make me live longer and look pretty good as I age. I HOPE! Shit!!!!!

You already look good and when you try to take care of your body , it'll show when you are older. So you've got a great jumpstart. Have a great day!!:)

I don't know about you Val, but I have found eating real food makes me a lot fuller than processed food. It sounds like you're going about things in the right way and I agree 100% that you're on the right track.

Amen to that, babygirl. I also agree with Cannon... meals such as LC don't fill me up. For the amount of calories they give you, I could easily make myself a filling, protein/ carb happy meal.. Yummm.... Anyways, bravo to you for looking at things from a long term perspective. Hell, I'm hoping with the healthy eating I'll look like Blancita when I'm her freakin' age. hahaa! Hope you're having a great day, bunny.

Morning Sunshine! Hope you have a great day today!! I love all those foods you mentioned, I'm a big health food nut, BUT...... I also like an occasional Lean Cuisine, when I have nothing else at work to eat. LOL LOL Beats running out and buying a Big Mac meal I would think. LOL LOL You know what I mean, so don't be a hater on my processed lunch meals girlfriend. LMAO!!! And damn it, I didn't make my PB&J today before I left for work, so I'm stuck eating one of those processed, card board, not worth a damn meals today. LOL LOL I will say, I sure like their pizza's. HAHAHAHAHAHA Hey, I think OKC is sending over some volunteers to help out in CA to fight fires, I hope all our friends are doing fine!! HUGGLES TO YOU TODAY!
VBF!

Mechelle! I haven't seen you since you called me a bum for dinner-hustlin' LOL!!! :rotflmao: You have a great day too! Oh yes, and Randy was saying stuff about keeping up on one's health at a young age. Jumpstart is right, thank you for the encouragement! Gawd I love this forum :hug2:

They do, I seldom am hungry, but I still enjoy eating...I think I may have a mouth fixation...I can't leave it alone, and the most pleasurable thing is to eat delicious things. An infantile affliction.

My day just started! I'm in my PJs :D No, I will have a great day thank you Sugar.....Sheryl! Yes, we all want to look as good as Claud when we're in our 30s. I think she has genetics on her side, though....but yeah, I want to look in the long term perspective. As a teenager messed up on hallucinogens, I had epiphanies that I should be taking care of myself....isn't life (or life's incidences) ironic?

Yes, please no big macs! Gross! Hey, the occasional one is fine if you like that, I understand....I just can't stomach meat. My own personal deal. Well, except tubesteak :D LOL!!!! I'm NOT a hater, my darling VBF! And yes I better check out the news, thanks for reminding me...

Today

So far I have been on my ass on WLF....

I ate: usual cereal soymilk, agave nectar, raspberries, strawberries and vanilla Organic yogurt.

For a snack, I had Bunny Treats and trail mix.

660 calories.

For lunch I plan on a shrimp salad like yesterday. That was really low calorie, but all the raw veggies made it so fibrously bulky that it should keep me satiated for a while. For a snack at work, I'm bringing pomegranate (I shelled one last night in advance) and a mango. I have Kickboe tonight, and if I get invited over to Karen's, I'll have dinner with her, but if not, I'll repeat the dinner I had last night and have a salmon fillet and the rest of my rice, tomato, and garbanzo bean pilaf. I may or may not have dessert, I ran out of chocolate but there's chocolate in my trail mix.

OK, time to shower and get to work a little early...

Hey CG! I am working on your diary. There is just so much here, it will take awhile. Is the runner's club still going? I need to join.

You have done so well, and look fantastic. I hope to be posting some hot ass pics in about 35lbs! Have a great day!

Oh Gawd, don't bother  I could never read through the entire of anyone's diary here, how exhausting! I have barely enough time to jump in for a chip chip cheerio and I'm out! ;) Course, I would learn an awful lot if I did...sigh....

Yes, looking forward to the hot ass pics!!!! You have a great day too!

Okay, NOW YOU GOT ME HOT for some wine tonight. MMMMM my mouth is watering now. Those look GREAT!! How fun!:drooling:

This was supposed to post with my last entry. I can't wait to try this one!

CHERRY CHOCOLATE WINE CORDIAL
Enjoy our unique dessert Cherry Chocolate Wine Cordial
after dinner or anytime you want a sweet treat!

OKLAHOMA MERLOT
Try this unique single vineyard Merlot from Oklahoma’s wine country!
This Merlot was harvested in September 2004 from the Greenfield vineyard
in central Lincoln County after an unusually long, cool and rainy summer in
Oklahoma. Our winemakers skill and French Oak have brought out the rich
berry flavors from this smooth fruity wine. Soft Tannins finish the wine
experience. Enjoy with a great steak or grilled chops!

Is that your work, Val?

David

Yes, that is what I do. I design shelf talkers and back cards for hundreds of wines. And then if a wine reviewer rates the wine positively, I have to edit to show the accolade. Then a new vintage comes out, and I have to revamp...etc. The other half of my job involves major chain stores and getting our wines into them...and confirming pricing.

I never went to school for Microsoft Office or Adobe Photoshop CSII, I just taught myself.

Kim: Oh my Gawd :eek2: Cherry chocolate cordial (and wine)? Willie Nelson's chef on Ladies' Night? Man I'm jealous--you're tempting me, I'm still a dry bunny!

Check out their website and tell me what you think of some of their descriptions of the wines, I'm all about wanting to go and do some tasting RIGHT NOW!!!, I can't wait for Ladies night, that's going to be a BLAST!! we will stay local so we don't have to drive home.
