Your BF is probably going around town bragging about this hot chick he's got waiting for him back at home.

Ha ha! Tom! *sarcastic*
He's probably enjoying a drink and chatting with the guys my friend is staying with. They are nice fellows, are Israeli!

10 KM in 42 minutes? Curvie, you are sssssMOkin! Make sure to ice that heel at least 3 times/day until that pain goes away. Could be plantar fasciitis, a very common running injury. No big surprise you've been wanting to eat, that's some fast running!

Ahhh Curves, I hope you get to soak those feet, and make them feel better. I love to give my hubby a foot massage and soak. I got this foot care kit from Mary Kay, my sister in law bought it for me, well it feels so good to soak your feet in then rub with this stuff. I don't want ANYONE touching my feet, that's why I use it on him instead! HAHAHAHA He never complains, imagine that! LOL LOL Well I better get going, always so much to do. Talk to you later!:)
Kim

Good morning Valerie, hope your feet feel better this morning....and you are able to find some shoes that will work until you heal. Is is as warm up there as it is down here or is the heat wave only affecting SD?

Glad you have set some new goals and are excited about making them! :)

Randy: Thanks! Boy, you sure look handsome in your new avatar ;)

Anna: Thank you! But remember, it was almost 43 minutes! :) Next year I'm going to shoot for 40 minutes, why not!? My "injury" is just scraped heel skin. It looks gross. I actually bled through my sock AND my shoe, yuck!

Kim: How sweet of you! Lucky hubby!

Beth: It is HEATING UP here! Almost80 degrees!

Tom: YES! He was getting dinner at a taqueria!

FitDay

Well thank you Tom!

FitDay really shows me where I'm going wrong! DAMN!

* Current spontaneous goal: To analyze my foods even better. I eat so well sometimes, and other times I just plain do not.

Ok, back to work! :)

Yeah, it's interesting. For the first time in my life I'm tracking calories, and now I see how here and there the calories add up over the years, and how some foods you think are "innocent" are actually very dense with calories. I figure in a couple of years, I may not have to track every calorie, simply because I'll know pretty much exactly what every food contains. But until then, I'm going to keep on doing it.

Me too, I really better--it is SO EASY to gain weight, but when you think about it, WOW! 3500 surplus calories for just one pound. Otherwise it's bloat or water or whatever. It's amazing to think about how we can even put 5 lbs of fat on us--that's a lot of eating!

But realistically, with calorie-dense food, it's no wonder.

Ha ha, have you ever seen Mean Girls? I remember Rachael McAdams's character saying, "I need to lose 3 lbs". Ha ha! And then she was given super-calorie dense bars to eat as a malicious prank.

I think it has a lot to do with portions...we get used to supersize everything...I am so much more aware of how large the portions everywhere are...SERIOUSLY...that margarita chicken plate I got at Chili's could have fed three people. I have had it three more times for lunch.

At least for me, once I start over-eating, portion wise, then I am not satisfied with a small portion...and then it takes more and more to feel satisfied....and so on. I mean it takes more calories to run your body the bigger you are...so it makes sense...it's never ending!

Portions, absolutely. Couple that with high-calorie, low-nutrient/fibrous foods and it's easy to get in an extra 3500 calories, now that I think about it! Like me and Franchese bread...and gouda cheese on top!

I LOVE GOUDA! I buy the medium rounds from Sam's and just slice me a little here and there, plus I like it with my wine on the weekends. mmmmm bread and cheese my favorites!

Yes, wine, bread and cheese......so good, it's hard to each just one serving of everything! I'm looking forward to picnics in the forest with that kind of spread!

FitDay

Good grief!

My foods have way too much fat and saturated fat in them :(

I'm glad for fitDay, no wonder Tom said he was lost without it!

I think I'm going to have to buckle down and plan my meals. *LOUD GROAN* I really, really am NOT looking forward to that, at all! Bleh! I am a more spontaneous person than that ;) But still, I obvisouly am having a hard time eating to maintenance, let alone a deficit lately! Too much, man, too much, too much.

I'm good, now--well on my way to a meager 1800-1900 calorie day, perfect for me and perfect for a 1lb loss in 7-10 days or so. I am going to start in 2 days and am heavy--140.5 lbs, even though only Saturday I was a petite 136.5 lbs. However, I believe I have over-eaten enough to gain a lb once the period is over--I can counteract that by deficts starting today and so on. I can do this!

Oh yeah I promised pictures!
