Thanks, Dee!!
OK.
I'm incredulous about how quickly I put on weight, and grumpy about being 150 lbs when, in just August, I was around 142 lbs. Granted, something happened--people still call me "in shape," sometimes "skinny," and I've heard, "you have a nice body" much more frequently than I would expect or even need to hear--from men and women alike. This is very flattering but it's also weird. I suspect the weight training has something to do with it. I'm very very glad for that--trust me, I have been trying to get as firm and curvy as possible.
I've also been gluttonous with beer and food, and have eaten much too much sweets lately. What the hell is my problem? *whispers*
no food diary.
AHA! That's right. I've been caught slacking off and I've no one to blame but myself (and Beer). I wish I was like Beth and didn't like beer. Grrrrrrrr.
On a lighter note, I noticed so many people on WLF have lost a bunch of weight recently and it makes me very happy!

Some, even, have blasted through their plateaus. I'm excited for them!
SO last night the BF (whom I hadn't seen in a week) came over. He was very sweet, revealing to me how much he actually missed me and misses sleeping with me. He was very loving and sweet. Um, however, my feelings for
him are really cooling down and I can't discuss why, necessarily, but it
is nice to have him around on the weekends!
He wanted us to "be gluttonous and eat and drink beer all day" but I
refused after seeing 150.0 on the scale this morning (I miss seeing 142) and I told him I was going running. So we amicably parted ways. I just finished a run through downtown Capitola. I was trying to find a trail to run on in a nearby campsite and the railroad tracks, but couldn't, so I ended up going through town and along the small wharf and back. I paused at Cava wine bar to say hi to Cliff, of course
Food: I splurged and bought
salmon jerky at The Fish Lady and some
glazed pecans and
Acacia juice (or whatever it is, the stuff with the antioxidants). I had slept until 11 anyway, so lunch will be coming up. I'm about to shower and head to Pelican Ranch Winery to say hi to Peg and have a bit of wine before I go back to Capitola and register with Nikki and her mom for the Triathlon tomorrow. Oh did I mention that? I'm doing a Tri relay with Nikki and her mom--mom's swimming, Nikki's biking, and I'm running. Team Lacroix!!! I've known Nikki since she was 14 and I was 15. It's at 7:30 am tomorrow! *gulp* but it's only 2.5 miles for me--I'll sprint.
Ok, gotta go-will visit diaries later!
