Diary: Curvie Girlie: A Yo-Yo's Reformation

YAWN! Monday...

Sunday I ate 1700 calories and ran for 53 minutes in the forest.

I also drank half a bottle of wine and did not get tipsy (over the course of a few hours with my buddy, whom I was visiting in Ben Lomond. Benb Lomond, by the way, is a tiny forest town in the Santa Cruz Mountains). The wine was delicious!

I had sushi from Ben Lomond Market for lunch/dinner, so I ate a LOT of sodium. This morning I weighed a whopping 145.5 lbs. Hmmmmmm. I'm still going to wait and see what the scale says in a few days before I get upset or worried :eek:

However, this morning I dragged myself to the gym and did an hour of weight training, because I have an appointment after work, and reading to do tonight (and I should clean our bathroom).

Last night I played dress-up in front of my mirror, to see how my body looks in my cuter clothes that I was waiting to lose a few before I wore them--and hey, I'm my worst critic and I'm not delusional, and DAMN I LOOKED GOOD :cool: I'm excited about losing more fat, but I'm really pleased with my body!!!

YAY!!
 
Hey there :) Glad you got your feelings down on paper, so to speak :) YOU ARE KICKING ASS with the exercise and don't beat yourself up over having a hearty week of food. I always get it the week before my period. I do think if your body is craving it that much you need it! Within reason of course!!! You should be very proud of being under 145lbs and staying there so long. That's awesome. You have plenty of determination and drive and know how to eat right. If you don't make it to 140 by April 1st (although I suspect you will), then it will be through your scales being stubborn. You are working so hard that you are definitely going to see some positive results over the next week or so after your period.

Congrats! Just wanted to let you know you're doing a great job. I also have that mentality that "If I just make it to this weight, my life will be perfect" at times. I just have to remind myself that no matter what I weigh I'll have problems, and an ideal body doesn't fix what's wrong in my life.

fortunately my boyfriend has a huge dvd collection, so he has most of the ones i had anyways. still, what a bunch of asses.

oh well, such is life at times! could have been much worse! :)

i am a bit frustrated because my weight loss seems to be slowing down, but as long as it doesn't go up, then i'll be happy!

i'm so glad to be back! :)

It's probably going to drop lower, my P is almost over and the bloating is going away--it's easier to eat less and I am going to TRY to stay under 1700 calories.

i love to eat too, so i completely understand that frustration! just don't give up! you are such an inspiration around here!! :D
 
It bugs me to do it, but I updated my ticker--.5 lb up. That's cool, it'll go down--my weight's like mutual funds, backwards--up and down but gradually and surely, DOWN.

This morning I dragged myself out of bed at 6:20 and drove to the beach, where I went running for 45 minutes--because after work today I'm getting a facial that requires I don't rinse it off until the next morning. Therefore, no working out after work.

I'm a little tired but I went to bed at 9:30 last night, so I'm OK. My body's looking good, and I'm very patiently continuing on in my quest to reach my fucking goal! :mad:

Sorry, I'm a tiny bit grumpy/sassy this morning--need to catch up on other people's diaries soon....

Thanks for stopping by the old diary cg. I like the analogy you made comparing your weight to mutual funds it had me smiling. That facial sounds interesting. What kind is it where you have to leave the stuff on for the entire day??

It's called a salycilic peel, to make it so I don't produce as much oil. I'm sad to say I'm a greaseball :( Well there are worse afflictions I suppose, than having troublesome skin. Sigh.
 
I got my packages!

I ordered some bathing suits and such. I got both today!

Here's the Alloy one, but in red:

I tried it on and it fit pretty good! It is a medium, in red, and of course it didn't hang off me like the rakishly-thin model--I filled it out and the bottoms are ever-so-slightly tight. They don't really make big bulges--5 more lbs and I'll be sitting pretty, at my goal is may be stylishly loose although a B-suit isn't for that purpose....

Anyway, I also got a Victoria's Secret suit:



The top was on back-order and will come later--I know that VS runs a little big, so I ordered a Small bottom. I tried it on, and iot fits--but is still a little baggy :mad: I can't get XS because then the sides won't tie. It will be fine, though. Anyway, I'm feeling good about my body and it's a great feeling!
 
Woohoo! Feeling good about body, fitting into the bikinis you ordered and ready to get jiggy wit it on the beach!

Nice job on that beach run. I really wish I were a morning person and could crawl out of bed. It's just so nice lying snuggled up next to hubby.
