Having a good Wednesday

I am. It is BEAUTIFUL today on the Central Coast. Unfortunately the office dog decided it was in her best interest to roll on a dead bird on the beach, on our walk today. GROSS! I wanted to give her a bath but she's not MY dog, soo....I attached a pitcure of her.

I have eaten about 1000 cals today:
Berry wafflewich (2 waffles with almond butter ans strawberries in between--the waffles are oatbran and low-calorie/organic/whole grain etc.)
1 peanut butter Granola Bar
A salad--2 1/2 cups Romaine lettuce, 1/2 package pea shoots, 1/2 avocado, 2 Tblsp Ceasar dressing (Sonoma Gourmet), 4 strips fakin Bacon

I feel I need something with whole grains tonight--like a 500 calorie sandwich. Then I'll be at 1500 and really proud!!!

Since it's Day 7 of my cycle, it's easy for me to eat lightly--unlike when I'm PMSing. Also, I notice a significant drop in weight on days 6-20, so it's possible, if I eat 1600 calories for the next 11 days, to be 137 by April 1st and thus have lost 8 lbs this month....possible....

Woo Hoo! Congratulations on the 141!

My driver's license says 165 - and I lied by 20 pounds and hasn't changed since I got it oh, 25 years ago.

I'm getting closer to being my driver's license weight! THAT is amazing LOL!

Might consider getting her a harness, works well for my pug, plus doesn't pull on her throat (pugs can have problems with collapsing tracheas, dunno if boston terriers do too...). Or, coaxing your work to get her a harness anyway ;)

M2M: Feels good, don't it? To get to that DL weight!

Jen: I heard bad things about the harness from my manager, but I don't know if i believe it. Either way, I enjoy having a buddy on my walks...she's fun!

Oh no prob--
She said because there's no pressure on the neck the dog doesn't listen and thus doesn't learn. I don't think she was taking into account sensitive dogs' necks...

Time to Run

It's 5:46pm, I am going to:
Go running--for at least 45 minutes
Get food--I might be too tired to make food, we'll see
Go tanning--I always use 30 SPF all over my body because I'm fair skinned
Do homework--class tomorrow

Better get started...

have fun with all of that!

doggie is too cute! :)

i miss mine... he is with the boyfriend's family so i could travel over spring break. but, i get him back this weekend!! :D

Hey there. That dog is amazingly cute. I wanna squeeze him! Yet, I don't wanna touch him because he rolled on a dead bird and hasn't been washed yet. lol Dogs are weird like that.

141 is great! It's been quite a while since I've seen 141! I'd like to be there again. Maybe someday!

How cute!! Now remember, the dog is the president of the company's, and her name is Bella. I just walk her on my lunch break, for company, and for her benefit as well. We just love the beach! I'll get a picture someday of it soon...there are a lot of surfers and they are fun to watch.

Update fot Thursday

OK, yesterday I considered a huge success. For one thing, I was not tired, and my brain was working VERY well at work--I was alert all day. That is rare--usually I get into a slump at some point in the day. Also, I had no sweets and no alcohol at all. That is also extremely rare. In addition, I consumed a meager 1515 calories--and had 3 cups leafy greens, and whole grains, fruits, veggies, and healthy fats. I think I didn't have enough protein, though. I also ran for 45 minutes in the forest--once again, my heartrate goes up and down dramatically as I run straight uphill and downhill at various points. I went tanning, too--and did not burn. And there's the boyfriend...

My boyfriend has an interesting relationship with his best male buddy, Eugene--or Yevgeny (sounds like jen-yah with a Frenchie J sound--I call him Jangus). They worked together for 3 years at a small pizza joint in San Jo. Jangus is 31 years old, single, and miserable in his job as a manager for the place. Poor thing works 6 days a week, horrible hours and for peanuts--like 50-60 hours a week. Desparately wants a good girl friend, but is being played by this trick (whom he bought clothes and dinners for, and she didn't even give him sex) who's 20 years old and also an immigrant. My dear BF claims Jangus's IQ is almost as high as his (near-genius) and that he should be doing better for himself. Anyway, my BF works in San Jo, and Jangus lives there, so every Wednesday after work the BF visits him and comes home late, usually around 10 or 11pm. I like that my BF visits him regularly--sometimes I drive out to hang with them, but since my regiment for losing weight I haven't--would rather work out and tan that day.

Anyway, sometimes the BF gets bored over there because Jangus is slightly depressed and doesn't get out to do anything. Mostly, though, he's a delightful and interesting conversationalist. Anyway, the sweet BF comes home last night and says, "I'm always glad to come home! Eugene is so BORING and MALE, that it's nice to come home to a hot girl who's so interesting," and hugged me.

Ahem, he's also very ....randy on Wednesdays, so.....well we had a good night. And Daisy was right--confidence is everything ;) My confidence is soaring and it really helps my sex life--and my BF's!!

Oh yeah I weighed 140.5 lbs this morning...but it's off to the beach with Bella!

Whoo! It's amazing what a few pounds can do for your confidence, huh? Glad to hear you had such a good time with the boyfriend. Sounds like yesterday certainly was a huge success, overall.

Pictures of the Beach

I wanted to show you the beach I walk to everyday--but these are from a wine photo-shoot I did...but they did not get used. Anyway, take a gander:

Geez! Only 100.0 crummy Kb? Maybe I can attach larger files if I image host them first...

I have a thing for beards and mustaches.....and like I said, it's nice to have him just lay on me and not be crushed--a definite plus! :)
