awe, I can't speak for everyone but I'm sure they feel the same way. We're not disappointed (I mean sure, dirty details are great around the water cooler but...), you know what's best for you!

In the meantime I'm sure the forum will find someone else to blab about their dates :D A bunch of vultures in here! lol
 
Good for you Dari...if that is what works for you and makes you comfy...It has been over two years for me and I have no desire to date but I am happy for you for moving forward and jumping in...Wish you all the best as always...

You can definitely speak for me on this one Mike. I agree....except about the vultures part. :p
 
I just had an insight...what bothers me is that in this town (maybe all small towns in Manitoba, who knows)...once you go out on a date with someone, you are dating them. Not just one day and that's it. Actually together. Especially if people see you together. So if I went out with him once, and didn't see it going anywhere, I'd actually have to "break up with him". Sad but true. I just don't want to get into that yet.
 
I think all small towns are like that! They have nothing else to do but , butt in to other peoples business and gossip! I grew up in a small town in California. It was always like that. Growing up I hated it, but now I'm older with kids of my own, we live in a small town again and I love it! Just don't worry about what people say!!:)
 
That's what I get for being so hungry...

I'm hungry, and the pita pizza smelled so good.....so good that I couldn't wait, and I burned the roof of my mouth :rolleyes:

I put a little feta cheese on with a little mozza. Soooo good!

HEY! you better be careful with him, he has a corsette fitting on tuesday at 7pm and if he misses that appointment I won't be able to fit him in for at least another 6 months!
 
LOL!! I have this mental picture now!

I ate too much pizza yesterday :( Not too many calories for the day, because I made a healthier pita pizza, and didn't use much cheese. It just tasted so good I didn't stop when I felt full:eek: And it smelled so good when I took it out that I couldn't wait, and I burned the roof of my mouth. That'll teach me.

Ok Dari...I tried ,making pizza the other night...I made it on the flat bread...what is it called teh stuff oyu make burrito and fajiattas otu of and such the only prblem is that they were too heavey and didnt get crispy...maybe make them in a frying pan ... I made them in the oven they were good and stuff but I was a bit disappointed that is you right that made those ???
 
I haven't tried grilling them YET. :D

Cerella, I've made the pizza on a tortilla too, in the oven. They did go crispy, but I had to leave it in extra. And don't put too many toppings on! If you do it in a frying pan, it's just like a quesadilla!

Just when I thought it was a good day...

I lost $300 :( It was for my rent. And my ex already had to short me $200 because he got a tiny cheque. I'm just thankful I pay rent to my dad, so I know it'll be alright if I wait until next payday to pay it. But what a waste. :(
 
Life is good again...just doing laundry, and found the money. Totally forgot I wore my "fat" jeans this week.:eek:
