Countdown to Competition

i should have made it clearer in my post

i had rpm thursday night then again this morning (friday)

it is early friday evening now and i still have washing to do among other mundane household chores :(
 
Ok, I just died looking at the amount of weights you are exercising with. How do you do it? And you still doing household chores???:eek:
I need to know your secret, my family surely could use somebody with your energy level!!
Seriously I admire your strenght (literally too)and keep going!! Very inspiring!!

Tru, I love your family's schedule. Its awfully, hard to not be in great shape when you're all working out so much. The best part is it seems you all really enjoy it too.
 
I think i am a little like my youngest son, he has Autism and is ADHD, I see many of his traits in myself and to a greater degree when i was younger. When i was younger i could never sit still but after having 3 kids I lost a lot of that energy when i was unable to do much while the kids were young and i gained weight and became depressed but now the kids are all in school, and i work from home as a web developer/SEO specialist and E-business consultant I have enough time to expend my excess energy which makes me feel a lot better. I want to become a personal trainer so i can make a living out of what i enjoy and help others as i am no longer enjoying computer work.


Today i am DMing an RPGA event and the only thing i have to worry about is eating toooooo much pizza.
 
made it into the gym this morning, increased my squat up to 125 kg (275.5 lb). I am booked in to have my measurements taken tomorrow morning.

After today it is time to re evaluate my goals, today i fanally increased my bench press up to 60 kg (132.2 lb) I can finally put the big plates on the bench press bar :jump:

Old Goal Weight 90 kg (198 lb)
Current Weight 89.2 kg (196.65 lb)
New Goal weight 85 kg (187.3 lb)

Current

Squat: 125kg (275.5 lb)
Deadlift: 130kg (286.6 lb)
Bench-press: 60kg (132.2 lb)

Total: 315kg (694.45 lb) (C Grade)

New Medium Term Goals

Squat: 150 kg (330.6 lb)
Deadlift: 150 kg (330.6 lb)

Don't sprain your wrist with those dice. I'm doing research on Fafnir for an event I'm writing for Gen Con myself. I think you'd be an outstanding trainer.
 
I wish i could make it to GenCon one year but it is one hell of a trip from Australia.

You know there was a time when we used to run into a whole lot of Aussies when I was doing more of the RPGA stuff. I read the article, Julie and her husband both sound top flight and its cool that high school sweethearts had a relationship strong enough to withstand openning a business together--that can be a strain.
 
I started to feel the effects of a cold yesterday and today i feel bloody awful, no gym today, time for rest and recovery, i feel sick and going to spend the rest of the day in bed.

will check and post in diaries when i feel better.
 
Make sure you eat/drink lots of Vitamin C! I'm sure you know that already but I feel compelled to tell people vitamin c is the cure-all whenever they feel a cold coming on. Hehehe... :D

That sucks abt the cold bu tI think a rest is good for you and your body - I hope you feel better soon:hug2:

You are doing awesome!! I can see from your original goal and your current stats the improvement but I am not sure I am exactly comprehending!! :)

Vit C. is great and lots of fluids. Hope you are back to the gym in no time!!

I am still feeling awfull :drooling: , spent yesterday at the hospital on oxegen for my asthma (i ate some chips which had MSG in them) I also have laryngitis which is also affecting my breathing. It is a bit of a challenge getting 3 boys to do what you want with absolutely NO VOICE :mad:
the doc said i should feel better in about a week.
 
Oh no hun im sorry you are so unwell, be careful you don’t get the gastro bug that’s going around as well apparently its in epidemic proportions up here at the moment and I can vouch its true and it floors you. get well soon hun.
 
i seen on the news last night that a 4 year old died from it yesterday, I am staying in bed with my laptop as much as posible until i recover and hope the kids don't bring home that nasty flu from school. some of the schools here have been hit v bad but so far so good my kids have shown a good resistance to it.
 
Sounds like a plan - sorry abt hte hospital and asthma...and laryngitis...Rest up and stay put as hard as it is!
