Countdown to Competition

I had a good gym session this morning but yesterday was a shocker :ack2:

After having a migrain all weekend and finally feeling like i had got rid of it on monday I almost passed out while i was bench pressing 60 kg (132 lb) which scared a few people at the gym.

this morning I was repping 65 kg and would love to hit 70 kg (154 lb) for the games in 3 weeks.

squat and deadlift are looking ok but i am still not getting in enough protein.

:hurray:

New PB for Squats at the gym today 127.5 kg (281 lb), felt I could easily go higher if I had not been tired from my workout.

still not eating enough grrr.

Deadlift day today, but felt tired and weak, didn't lift as heavy as usual but afterwards done a Fit Mix class for an hour.

Just read an interesting Article about caffien and weight loss

Light day for exercise this morning with a 45 minute RPM (Spin) class to loosen the legs and help recovery.

Mum has agreed to pay for my PT course so I can finally get started on it this year, My coach and Head trainer thinks I should get through the course without much trouble because I already know the basics. I will probably specialize in working with the elderly and posibly working with special need kids like my ASD sons.

Hey Trus! Great job with your workouts. You are the strongest woman I know!! I hope you kick butt in the competition.

work it girl!

It has been hard to find time to check in here but the result in townsville was ....

A win in the 90 kg division making me the best in my weight divsion in North Queensland :)

I will be lifting at the state titles on the 26th

It has been 2 weeks since i last checked in.

On saturday I competed in the State Championships and I am now Queensland State Powerlifting Champion in the 90 KG weight division.

My next goal is to drop a weight division by the end of the year which means loosing 7.5 kg of fat without loosing any of the hard earned muscle I have been building.

Thanks for the comments on my diary and wow!! I was reading through a few pages of yours and your awesome! lol I've only been lifting weights for a few months now but it feels great to get stronger. Congrats on your win!
