Crossing my fingers for your weigh-in!! Also dropping off a hug :grouphug: I'm guessing you don't really want to discuss what's getting you down - just know we are here for you if you need anything! You will get through it with your head up - you are strong, determined and smart so do what you have to do to get over it and move on. Love how you are still positive and enjoying your workouts despite what's going on - keep it up Alta!!
 
I am envious of your energy to get up and kick ass with bootcamp every morning! And you're right, fuck the haters! You know what you're doing, Alta, and you're doing all the right things! Don't let anyone doubt your strength and determination, because it is greater than anyone I know! I hope you are feeling better after some emotional episodes... it is normal for us to all go through that (I am guilty too!) but what I really admire about you is how quick you can pick yourself back up an bring positivity and light to the situation!

Hey Alta, I loved your answer to my question. Diet has to be kept in check, the rest is a bonus. At the worst, the weight will simply come off slow. We haven't heard from you yet about weigh in this morning. I hope it went well but even if it didn't, don't be discouraged! You are doing all the right things.
 
:grouphug: Oh my GOSH!!! :beating:!! How special I feel right now with all of you in my diary!!!! It's like the heavens opened up and said "WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" :D!! LOL!!!

...well friends, the truth about weigh in today was...that I was stressed ALL week. I did smash a BIT though. Enough to reach my .5 lb goal weekly, so all in all it was GOOD!!!

...I came in at 168.6 from 169.8 last week Thursday, so still a loss!! I'm hoping next week, will be even better, and if not, ...then I'm RIGHT ON TRACK!!!

Had a really busy day full of clients today, and then I went out for drinks with a friend. I had 2 Rum and Diet cokes and 1 -hefenweizer!

This past week, I was almost non existant with the alcohol!! It was a GOOD WEEK!! :D!!

Did I tell you guys, that I can now crank out 75 pushups like NO OTHER + 5 sets of 30 burpees after that!! :D!! Feeling kinda kinda good about that!! ;)

I'll write back and post tomorrow!! Goodnight friends!!! :D!! And my stomach is getting MUCH tighter! I feel it!! :beating:!
 
HOly cow 75 pushups!!! That's insane! Like all in a row and not lady style??? That's a huge accomplishment Alta! You must be gaining some serious muscle! I can't even do 15 burpees without wanting to die. Never mind 5 sets of 30 - I can't even imagine. Great work friend!
The scale is going down so that's all that matters! Keep it up and have a great weekend!

I'm doing the bodyweight challenge and decided to do the manly man pushups - they're HARD!!! I can now do about 15 per set, with 3 sets, but I REALLY struggle with it. I can't imagine doing 75 in a row like that! I might be able to do that many girlie ones, but no way on the manly ones!

I tell my hubby that it's harder for me to do pushups because I have to lift all that boobage up and down. He says it should be easier because I don't have to go down as far because my boobs hit the floor! LOL!
 
:D!! LOL!! ...Ok, let me clarify... 25 MANLY pushups in 3 sets, with 5 sets of 30 burpees inbetween. One month ago, they were 2 manly pushups and the rest girly ones...and no where near 75 pushups! More like...3 sets of 10 girly ones.

....Now, I can do the 25 in a row with SPEED and PROPER FORM! And I do all sets with the same speed, up until the last 5 or so on the last set! ...the burpees MURDER my legs!

...but the trainer gets off on it,...so ;)!!! LOL!! :D!!!

....my thighs looked WAY smaller this morning too!! Maybe it was the 30 million squat like moves that the trainer keeps busting out!
....He's taking a week to go to Oregon, so this next week is all p90x, running, hiking, biking, and stairs and PUSHUPS!!! :D!!!

WOW! This gives me hope that I'll be able to do that many push ups some day too! I've only been working on doing them more since the 1st of February.

GO ALTA! You're the man! LOL!

Do you know that the average American male can only do around 25 push ups?
