Couch POTATO to "MARATHON" HONEY! :)

I am so glad to see you eating a normal diet!! You are going to be so much more successful this way!!! Your body is going to be like.. hey i like this! FUEL! and its going to gobble it up and use all that food to burn fat! :)

Good job on everything you are doing! I am so proud to see you so motivated again!
You are soooo right!! Just changing my style of eating and feeling like "I can" is empowering!! I feel like now nothing is bad. Everything just needs to be accounted for, that's all. I am hoping throughout a period of 6 months to be down to a healthy 130! That's a tad over 6lbs a month. Sooooo...here goes!! :D! Regardless, I'm sticking to it! Bad weeks or not. Sticking to something!

I've realized that programs haven't failed me in the past, it's that I failed them! Feeling GOOD!! Loving all the food too! LOL!! Especially the variety, without feeling out of control. Can you believe that before, I would even feel like.."Ohhh, I dunno. Is yogurt bad? Is bread bad?!" Now, I know I don't have to feel that way anymore!!

Liberation!!! LOL!!! :drool5:!

The thing I'm wondering now is,....IF I WORKOUT A LOT, and I earn more points in the day....Do I have to eat all the points, or is it okay to not eat the activity points I just sweat off? ...I might have to ask the forum members there.. hope someone knows though.

i am pretty sure you dont need to eat all of the activity points too.. i would ask to make sure but to lose weight i wouldnt just eat to eat.. listen to your body. get your major points in and then if you are still hungry you can dip into those activity points but i wouldnt think you would need to eat them all! lol

2 servings- Almond Breeze milk -3 pts
1 Sugar Free Jello- 0 points
Dinner:
5 oz. of Frozen yogurt with fresh blueberries and strawberries and chocolate sprinkles (6 pts) ---WOW!! So yum!! Before I realize that I would probably get over 20 oz each time!! It costs .30Cents per ounce. This time it cost something like $1.50 or something like that cause of fruit...and before I would sometimes go and pay like $5.65 or something crazy like that!!! ...Points make me realize. Woa! That's a lot.
-Shirataki noodles again-0 points- small portion
Points Allowed Daily: 29
Activity Points earned this day: 12
Total points allowed this day: 41 points
Total points consumed: 39 points.
---still a loss!! :D!!

I reallllllly pushed myself to do the workout at 10 pm at night! p90x 1 hour video DONE! I wasn't going to do it, as I was flipping through a magazine there is Tony Horton right there working his ass of on a full page p90x Ad with 3 before and after pics. Hmmm... is that not a sign or WHAT!~? LOL!! ...Push Play it was!! "How important is this to me?! Veryyy!!!"

I did get up EARLY as hell today for a Sunday as well! My energy is going up as I'm eating healthier choices! I did get all my water in as well!! I am hoping to be down at least 2 pounds by my (weight watchers-Thur weigh in) - still weighing in on Tuesdays to give me a shadow of how hard I need to work those next two days til weigh in!

With the whole PlusPoints System the urge to drink almost daily is GONE! Alcohol is very far from my mind. This entire week, I only had a cup of red wine, and today I PLANNED for my CHAMPAGNE brunch!!

Turns out:
Vodka-4 pts
Beer light- 3 pts (nasty)
Beer-5 pts
Champagne-3 pts
....WELL, damn!! I've saved TONS of points...69 from activity and allowance, so I can have a good time at brunch today and eat HEALTHY portions stock up on veggies and eggs and fruit and lobster! LOL!! ...Then, I have a boat load of champagne points! I'm making it a FUN thing, versus an I need to hide from my emotions kind of thing with the alcohol. I am feeling in CONTROL because of this counting. It's something that I really haven't ever stuck to or did properly in the past, and it's LIBERATING!
I know that CONSISTENCY, will be the pillar of my success!

I am doing it. Day by day. :jump: Even if I never lose a pound, something will happen with me working out everyday one hour. Something... ;)

There was only two moments in the past days where I almost lost control!!! And both times so far, have been REALLY late at night. After all is done, sometimes watching a movie and almost sleeping, I have gone to get water and then ...naturally, opened the fridge, as I used to SNACK and MUNCh without thinking twice, and grabbed cheddar cheese and chocolate and milk and slimfast chocolate bar. The cheese one night. The chocolate milk and chocolate the other night. What I did is because it was late at night, like 1am- 2am ..I was aware of what I did and incorporated those points into the day which I at them. 1am or not. I almost wanted to ignore them. But who am I lying to? ...Myself. Account for them and work for them. All in all, I am feeling good about it all!

Gonna jump on the bike and ride for a couple minutes here in a little before our Sunday Ocean side Champagne brunch!! :jump:!!

Discipline and Repetition are the mother of all SKILLS!":smash:

Hi Alta! Just letting you know I still check in on your diary quite a bit. It's hard to read all of it considering you are pretty good about posting and have so many other followers who post too. I can see you are still working out hard! I hope 2011 is good to you! You deserve it.

Derrick

Looking good Alta! You make me want to go back to counting WW points... I really like the system! But it's not something I am interested in at this time. I am going to start writing down everything I eat though, because we all know it holds us way more accountable!

How do you like those shirataki noodles? I tried some last year and they were alright... but they have a weird smell/taste that I couldn't get over! Do you do anything special while preparing them?

Hang in with everything, it looks like you are on the right track now. I'm ready to get back to workouts and measurements and food journals... no more slacking, it's time to get fit! :D

Take care my dear!

Great work with the points Alta! And working out at 10pm is major dedication girl! High Five!! Looking good - keep it up!!!

Thanks :jump: I'm feeling really good!!! :D!

A Secret Scrolls message from Rhonda Byrne
Creator of The Secret and The Power

From The Secret Daily Teachings

So often when things change in our lives, we have such a resistance to the change. This is because when people see a big change appearing they are often fearful that it is something bad. But it is important to remember that when something big changes in our lives, it means something better is coming. There cannot be a vacuum in the Universe, and so as something moves out, something must come in and replace it. When change comes, relax, have total faith, and know that the change is ALL GOOD.

Something more magnificent is coming to you!

May the joy be with you,

I've never tried kettle balls.. do you like it?!

I love love love kettle bell class! I wish they offered more classes at my gym. I bought one to swing around at home too (25lbs). Last night's class I used the 35lb bell and I felt so strong! I can only use it for the two handed swings and have to switch to the 25lb one for one armed swings. I want to buy some more to use at home because I would love to do a workout with my hubby or friends. The bells last a lifetime too so I think it's totally worth the investment.

You are very inspiring. I love what you said about making it day by day and being consistent. You have made unbelievable progress getting down to 167 I think it is?

THIS IS HUGE FOR ME!!! Before joining weight watchers, I was working out and eating somewhat healthy, but DRINKING at least 4-5 times throughout the week. Wine, Shots, champagne,..whatever! I was ESCAPING the fact that time was going and I wasn't working towards my GOAL! Towards my future. The minute I joined Weight Watchers, that desire to escape my failures has DISAPPEARED!! I get home at night, and think of WORKING out again, instead of drinking! I am CONSCIOUS and I love it! I am IN CONTROL!!! I thought this would NEVER happen, and I couldn't fathom the thought that once upon a time I quit drinking completely for 8 months. ...NOW, though, I KNOW THE FEELING AGAIN!!! Alcohol doesn't rule my thoughts, and food is thought of as points and FUEL! Feeling good, regardless of my weight or not. ACTIONS COUNT. PERSISTENCE COUNTS. If a thing never changed on my body, and I continued doing everything I'm doing, I'd be A-OK with that! It's the journey of the actions that I love!! :beating:! The completion. ;) Really proud of myself!
