Long Running Outdoors:

Friday, Sat, Sun

Wow, I just noticed you only have 5 lb's left on the old ticker. I hope to be in a similar position ('round 8 lbs left) at the end of the New Year's Challenge. If you stick to those work outs the extra weight will evaporate in no time!

Thanks Girl!!!...Actually I still have a lot to go more, but for bi-weekly goals it's more motivating to see it close to the end, versus a million pounds to go, ya know!! hahaha...but all in all....Thanks ;)!!! We'll get there!!!!

I CAN TASTE 155 lbs :drool5:!!! Note to self: Your portions are the Key to your success!!! Keep it up, and if it looks small, eat only half anyway! ...Save the rest for later and You CAN DO IT ALTA!! ;) )~~!!

That's so awesome Alta!! You should be so proud! Your hard work and consistency is paying off big time! I can't wait to read how well you do while I am away - we'll probably be the same weight again when I get back and then we can both drop it like crazy and get into the 140's together! I could learn a lot from you regarding portion sizes! It's one of my biggest fall-backs with this weight loss, my brain still thinks I can eat huge plates of food as long as it's healthy stuff. (They are a little smaller than before though and I will cut them down gradually... one thing at a time I tell myself!)

Anyway, keep it up! You must be very pleased x

After seeing the Biggest Loser people drop lbs like NOTHING....I think MAN!!!...I can definitely Smash 3lbs a week if trying!!! :D!!!! Can't wait til you get back!!! I'm getting in my gym grind again!!! :D!! ;)! We can motivate each other again!! (just this time I will be working for it too! ha!!!)

You are Killing it ALL THE TIME, ...it's insane and INSPIRING!!! :party:!!! Let's keep each other in line this week!!! I was gonna tell you in your journal as well, that we should have a little Jillian Michael's challenge EVERYDAY at least 5 days a week to keep each other in line!!! I started yesterday with my home videos too ontop of the gymo!! ;)!!!

Girl, I'm starting to realize that the KEY is all in the portion sizes. Now, I ONLY eat on salad plates, and make sure to leave ONE INCH border untouched. As well, a lot of times, I will tell myself now, to only eat 1/2 of it, even if looks small!!!

...I realize that often times, I am already satisfied by that point, just used to Finishing my plate, that's all. :) Portion sizes ! ;)! Let's do it this week!!! :)

So let me just tell you all, how EXCITED I am about these LBS being Smashed!!!
....I literally LOVE LOVE BROWN RICE!!! I have always had these misconceptions that if I eat Brown Rice, or Rice, or Breads or anything near that, I will maintain not smashing any lbs away[/I].....LET ME TELL YOU....BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!

....In the Fat Smash program (Celebrity Fit Club), you are advised that it is okay to eat 2 cups of Cooked Brown Rice daily! That sounded Insane to me!!!:jump: ...Though for once, I am listening to the Experts on the Subject and allowing myself to follow the process, and do the deeds. (in small small portions) I've noticed my cravings for bad foods has diminished, and the sight of them does me no harm either. Depending on processed foods often makes you crave them more!

.... I am finding that portion sizes are the KEY here for me!!!:hurray: I am making it a rule to not fill my stomach to the point of feeling FULL, whatever it may be...even if it is just water. I personally want to keep it from expanding further and feeling like SHIT!!....So even so, 16.oz bottles and not gallons,....exaggerated like before.....as well, one cup of tea,...not exaggerated like before....1/4 to 1/2 cup of Brown Rice....not exaggerated like before, one nibble of chocolate...not the whole box like before. (that goes for cookies too!) hahah!! :icon_bs::ack2: Sad how we can watch ourselves do something that is deteriorating to our bodies, and we can continue the actions. WELL, THAT'S DONE FOR ME!!!....Also, I have switched to NO BEER!!! ....The times that I have had drinks, have been straight alcohol, champage, or Saki (hot wine!)

....In moderation to an extent!! haha! ;)!! ALL IN ALL!!!! I'm LOVING MYSELF THIS WEEK! :beating:!!!

...Can't wait for BIGGEST LOSER TONIGHT!!! :hurray: They probably lost a MILLION lbs this past week!!!!!! I want to SMASH ALONG WITH THEM throughout their season!! :)!!! I will keep updating my ticker by the 5 lbs more to go mark!! I like seeing the end of the goal come close!!! :grouphug:!!! :drool5:!!! I can TASTE 155!!!!!!

FAT SMASH DAY 9!!!! (1/12/09-Tuesday)

Bkfst: 3 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 cup of Oatmeal only mixed with water and sprinkled with cinnamon (no added flavors or sugars) (I had served a whole cup, but only ate half as a rule to myself)
6 oz. of Warm Dieters Tea

Snack: 1/4 cup of Brown Rice mixed w/ 1 1/2 egg whites (sea salt sprinkle, and pepper)--trying to go real low on the salts consumed as well

Snack: 1/4 cup of Brown Rice mixed w/ 1 1/2 egg whites (sea salt sprinkle, and pepper)--trying to go real low on the salts consumed as well (same snack)

Snack: (will be) Papaya squares -2 (1/2) palm sized medium ones (I might just eat half of them as a rule to myself. Even though it looks small, cut it in half and save it for later.) 16.oz water

Lunch/Dinner: 3/4 cup -1 cup of Chinese Bought Fried Rice w/ chicken and vegt.
1 sparks drink (alcohol) eh!
1 cup of Hot Senna Tea

Snack: 1/2 cup of Cheerios w/ 1/4 cup of Soy Milk
Hot Tea-one cup


Exercise: Day 2 of 25 min. Video during Lunch Jillian Michaels--8lb weights--Full Back Video (she does interval 20 mins. TONS of sweat by the end) :cheers2:!!! Way to use lunch effectively Alta!!! :D! I feel stronger already! hA!
35 mins. on Stationary bike w/ 2 inetervals (SO SORE!!!) @night
3 mins. of Yoga Breaths (stomach tightening techniques)

I didn't get lazy yesterday..:D!..I did, but I didn't allow it to completely take me out, and I did 35 mins. on Stationary Bike and I did 3 mins. of Yogi Breaths stomach tightening at night, and in the day time I did a Jillian Michaels video for 20 mins. w/ 8lbs weights. I am soreeeeeee from 2 days of Jillian, 8 miler the day before, and PowerYoga and weights. !!! I like it though!

....The thing that got me up was the Biggest Loser Show. I had ate for early dinner 3/4 -1 cup of Chinese Bought Fried Rice w/ vegetables in it and little chicken chunks, and my bf got a stomach ache and said it was "Crap Food"!! haahaha!! BUTTTT...then he said...it was all the "fat in it" that made him feel sick. ...Well, of course if you eat a WHOLE BOWL of it. ;) I on the other hand ate a tiny salad plate (smaller than salad plate actually) worth of it, and felt FINE & had no guilt because it was such a controlled small portion! :)

.....Still though, thinking about it, made me get up to exercise more. And he came downstairs with me to watch tv and be on the computer while I worked out. :beating:! YOU CAN"T HOLD ME DOWN!!! YOU CAN'T HOLD ME DOWN!!! ;)

...That's how I feel again!!! :D!! I saw on the show that their second week is not as big a weight loss, than the first week. So when I realized that my second week was better than the first...it made me HAPPY!!! :D!!! The Biggest Loser Show and me are Neck In Neck...I started the day after the first episode and have lost 7lbs!!! I did go online and PLEDGE MYSELF TO SHED 25lbs and they donate 14 cents for every pound you pledge so that it could feed America with donated food. The money per pound goes to buy food! :D!!!! California has pledged the most pounds!!


...That's INSPIRING as well!!! :D!!! FEB 7, HALF MARATHON COMING UP!!!!

FAT SMASH DAY 10!!!

Bkfst: 3 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
1/4 cup of Chinese Bought Fried Rice (w/ veg & chicken chunk-2 little ones)
1 cup of Hot Dieter's Tea

(Bathroom-YUP-Tea worked!)
Snack: 1/4 cup of Chinese Bought Fried Rice (same as before-all I had to eat in fridge-portions are OK! :) )

Lunch: 1 spicy tuna hand roll w/rice
2 sashimi salmon peices
1 spicy scallop hand roll --no rice--just cucumber
1 sea weed salad
(I broke) 1 Sappor Beer-normal size--
2 small hot saki

1 snickers bar
1 bag of Gummie Bears

Dinner: FULL..none


Exercise: YOGA 30 mins---Long Poses---Meditative!

Snack:: Small Salad plate size of Mixed Grilled Vegetables--eggplant, tomato, zuchinni, onion, bell pepper green and red

Dinner: 1 Raw Bar-organic non processed -chocolate flavor
(went to friend's house @ night-2 Yager Shots-and almost one skinny bottle of wine!) sheeeesh...we talked for like 5 hours!!! Got home @ 4:30 am!! :eek:!!!

Almost got lazy last night, but NO....I did YOGA and MEDITATED for 30 mins. Before bed and went to bed HAPPY AS HELL, it helped a lot for soreness!!! :D!!! :cheers2:!!! Feel good today...just been super busy!!

I feel slimmer this morning a little,..and I love SMASHING FAT DAILY!!! :D!!!
