Couch POTATO to "MARATHON" HONEY! :)

P.S. I drink a lot in all honesty. That could have something to do with it too. I am working towards quiting for a long time and really taking a hard look at my diet or trying a specific diet in general.
.........Oh yes.we have something in common!...this is something that I think wouldn't be a problem for me other than I can REALLY hang with the boys on drinks per say...and that isn't cute :( ....I mean it looks CUTE :D...hahah....but my body doesn't think so! :(...then....after everyone is done drinking, I allow these "snacks, or full meals" to pass my mouth...riding it off to the alcohol. I counted one night, easily if I would have hung out with the people I did that night...with alcohol and the restaurant afterwards, it was easily another 1,700-2,000 calories between the food and alcohol...ON TOP OF WHAT I WOULD HAVE ATE IN THE DAY :eek2:!!!

....that's scarry!!!!!!....:eek:....this camping trip coming up,...I'm really going to have to have CONRTOL and not drink during the day...cause you could keep on sucking like a fish allllllllllllll day I've heard...and nothing happens....other than ROLLS, more drinks and more food! hahaha!

3-Sunday: 2.5 hour bike ride on Stationary bike, 3 min. of 5 lbs hoola hoop, arm stretches (1, 075 cals burned)

4-Monday: 45-50 min. Power Yoga video -true core (hard!) (450 bike cals + 250 cals yoga= 700 cals burned)1 hour Stationary Bike @ home

5-Tuesday: 35-40 mins of Yoga Stretches.--nice ab work-again. (75 cals-120 cals burned)

6-Wednesday: day off

7-Thursday: 1 hour 4.5 mile UPHILL run to the HOLLYWOOD SIGN ..@ 4:30 pm -95 degrees outside--with a NICE breeze, hot as hell though, got extra crispy skin..hahah-+ 30 mins of Power Yoga (450-500 cals for run + 100 avg. for yoga= 600 cals burned)

8-Friday: 1 1/2 hour Stationary Bike ride- 125 crunches ( mixed) & 10 mins of 5lb. Hoola Hoop (700-725 cals)

9-Saturday (08/01/09): (weigh in day)--I FUCKN GAINED 2lbs!!!! 151lbs! no exercise

10-Sunday: no exercise

11-Monday: 9 mile HILL run-2 times back and Forth to the Hollywood Sign-2 hour run!(about 1,000 cals burned)..:D!

12-Tuesday: day off

13-Wednesday: 5.5 mile run= 4.5 mile Run up to the Hollywood Sign + 1 mile cool down run=
(550-600 calories burned)-Hills

14-[B]Thursday:.(8/6/09-TODAY....class, got home super late-no exercise-(tired day off)[/B]

15.- Friday: No exercise

16- Saturday- clean the house-dance/yoga-10 mins. ---but no real exercise

17- Sunday----9 mile 12 HUGE hills training RUN~& 40 mins. of Stationary Bike!!!!!...(about 1,350 cals burned together) :D!

18- Monday---30 mins of HOT as HELL sauna w/ Yoga moves at gym (200-300 cals burned) + 40 mins of Stationary Bike @ home! (337.50 cals= 637.50 cals...around there...600 cals assume burned)

Sorry I haven't visited your diary for a while; I've been working my way through other people's! But thank you so much for your encouragement, everything you said was SPOT ON!!! We DO only have today; and we can treat it like it's nothing special, or we can treat it like it's the beginning of all good things that will happen in our lives from now on. I see now! Every day is the ONLY day! (I've been operating on the silly assumption that I'll live forever and forever will always be a long, dull, hard road stretching endlessly in front of me, leading nowhere...). Life does NOT have to be a big, boring ride, made up of lots of meaningless days, right?? It can totally be a party, a party of our own making. :party: What is more REAL than the energy and will that gets us out of bed in the morning? If we don't have that, it doesn't matter if we're the thinnest, richest, whateverest people out there... we won't have a purpose in life and we won't commit to anything or anyone, we'll just drift...

Anyway, to spit out the ramble lolly, I am certain that you'll achieve your goals, especially with your running. Your enthusiasm and motivation are contagious! If you talk to yourself like you talk to others on this board, I know you'll have nothing to fear, you'll kick some hot ASS...

I can see you flying past thin, muscly, sexy bods one after the other on that half-marathon ... grinning over your shoulder ... your hair flying in the wind ... and some dude behind you gasping to his partner, "WTF was that? I thought NASA only tested stuff down in Houston!"

I've been trying to go back to 100% Raw unprocessed pure organic, no additives, not cooked, only dehydrated food under 105 degrees to preserve the enzymes, again.:D!..especially after all my stomach problems the past weeks...I've been realizing what my body is calling for....pure GOODNESS...nothing with chemicals, or altered, or dead animals, none of that shit...cause it's been HURTING me in the nights!!...I mean don't get me wrong, I still sometimes crave that stuff all bad...but i've been 98% vegetarian and Raw and flopping back and forth since February 2009!...but the overall benefits are AMAZING!/....and weight loss is inevitable because your body can actually process food as positives unaltered and for fueling nutrition....

...The first time I went Raw I went from a size 6 to a 2 in 2 weeks! :eek:...I was SHOCKED!...I stayed there, but now that I am vegetarian mainly with cooked food, my body still gets irritated by certain foods still and I got puffier in my stomach area,...which can result from pesticide buildup as well....which when you go Raw disappears quickly!..I now tilter a 4/6...depending...(only in ONE MANUFACTURER from Express that I use as a measure set of pants...other than that...psh..no where near those sizes I'm guessing.) ...so yeah...I want to go back 100%!!!...Hope I can get a jump start now that I have some books coming in the mail and I'm getting the juicer...now ALL I NEED is a REAL dehydrator to stomp on my door!...and Chefa-LA-RAW is back in action! :D!

..I just ate the BEST RAW PIZZA and RAW KALE SALAD!!!!...


& I'm getting a Jacl Lalanne Power Juicer Classic today !!! :party: Brand New of Craigslist for $65.00...normally brand new at $99.00...so not bad, not bad!.

...WHALA...I needed to juice to detoxify again :D!...I've been mentally preparing...I did a 25 day fast on liquids the first time I went RAW a while back this year in January/Febuary then I went RAW for 4 months 100%!! and didn't cheat...but it took me a while to prepare mentally...

...I am starting to read again, and feel like crap with food, which is what launched me to go RAW initially...but now...I just feel EXCITED to do it again! :party:! I felt the most amazing in my life!!!...I think another little detox this time..maybe 7-10 days only...but juicing vegetables in my new JUICER...to get rid of all this built up acid in my stomach! aaaaahhh...the relief sounds GREAT!! :D!


...Had a YUMMY RAW PIZZA and RAW KALE SALAD for lunch!!! This is what it looked like!

.....dun dun dun....running my 1/2 Marathon 13.5 mile HUGE 18 hill training RUN ...right now!!! :party: :party:....it's 73 degrees outside right now...HOPE IT STAYS that way!!!..:party:

Okay....so this is what happened!....

...I figured that my stomach is still full of junk inside or something that caused the acid buildup...(or maybe the chocolate I ate the night before from the Liquor Store...)....I got up that morning. Strapped on my running gear, put on the sun block..(I love the smell too...reminds me of the beach)..., put my head cap on...and stretched and drank water and feuled a little bit...and was trucking along.....UNTIL mile 7 ....then ALL OF A SUDDEN....I got massive MASSIVE acid reflex's....:( :cry:...DAMNNNNN the CRAMPING!!!!....By this time...it was hill 12 and I cramped so hard...that I had to walk up.....I was done at this point...my stomach wasn't taking no more!~!!!.....:banghead:...if it wasn't for the acid reflex I would have completed the ENTIRE THING....butttttt :( since I was feeling HORRIBLE :( I stopped at 9 miles and 12 hills!!

.....the weather was nice it was about 75 degrees and worked its way up to about 85...I was feeling AMAZING at first.......but oh well....I'll give it another whirl this week sometime!!! ....Maybe this weekend when we go camping or something!!!...Maybe sooner........But anyway....so afterwards...my stomach still hurt...but I STILL FELT GUILTY AND SAT ON MY STATIONARY BIKE AND RODE FOR 40 MINS. !!!!!...

....I felt SORE AS HELL last night on my upper thighs right before my butt....INSANE!!!!....:iagree: ....I can't wait for all that fat to melt right there so my ass could look like BABAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNG!!! :D! :smilielol5:....

....So this whole past weekend, I spent my time LOVING MY NEW JACL LALANNE JUICER!!! :party:! I finally got it and it makes the BEST BEST juices ever...and this morning I used the pulp to make a smoothie...and last night I used the vegetable pulp to make a vegetable Indian dish...HMMMM HMMMM!!!....Super BOMB!!!

....It's easy to clean, easy to mash anything into juice...and KEEPS ME GOING RAW and feeling soothing in my stomach. Had a pretty Raw weekend...although I did have a beer or two...and a shot or twoo...but MODERATED THE HELL out of it...so I feel good! I shared a Raw Pizza again with my boyfriend and he loved it!!!...The thing was big enough for the both of us!! WOOHOO!!!!! Though I do prefer not to share and keep it to myself.!!! :reddevil:!

....all in all ...it's AMAZING!

Well Alta, You've done it again. You've inspired me to get back on my bike again & start building it up by a little bit each day. I prefer to walk but it's wild & woolly outside today (& that's not the sheep!) Yesterday I did 20 mins, today......?! I'm loving doing weights now. This old girl has never known what to do with them & I've taken to them like a duck to water. Some days my motivation is almost non-existent, I do my weights & then I'm ready for anything. Love it! I think you really might have something with the raw food. Raw food gives me much more energy!

WoW that raw pizza looks pretty freakin delicious! Can you make raw spaghetti? lol I have a thing lately for spaghetti & meatballs & cheese. But I guess that is a definite no no in the Vegetarian/Raw world.

I remember reading someone's post on here awhile ago about how being raw is expensive. I know that's subjective for everyone. How do you find it? Do you grocery shop every week? & How did you start out becoming Raw?

I am going in to see my Doctor later this month, & I am going to ask her about my bloatedness problems & gluten. I have ALWAYS had major problems digesting food. A lot of pain & gas. Apologies if TMI. ;) :p

....Raw is somewhat expensive!! I go to different markets..and honestly...the amount of pain that my stomach had been going through...at the end of day it makes sense...cause my good time feeling is worth it....but Just on Fruits alone the other day..for the week...it cost $37.00 or Organics...so yeah..it adds up....

Yay!!! :party:! ...Yesterday I was productive!!!..I came to work, went home...my bf was off visiting his friends...I washed the dishes, made a juice, wrote 2 essays, went to the gym for sauna session 30 mins, read in the sauna and did yoga moves, came home, he still wasn't back...so I made him dinner...the pattie that I made myself for lunch today..and (He loved it when he got home :beating:)...I got on my bike...watched one hour of my videos for case studies..while 1 rode my bike for 40 mins.!! :D!!....Showered...made another juice for myself...and went to watch TV and cuddle!! :)...ahhh....super relaxing!! :beating:!!!...can't wait for camping this weekend....Cuddling on the dirt!! hahaha....and in the water!!!

Yesterday Food: (All Raw Home Made Juices made from Organic Vegetables and Fruits!) :D!

Brkfst: A Juice Pulp Smoothie (pulp from Juicing...) w/ blender with Soy Milk & cinnamon
Lunch: Quinoa Cooked with Pulp Vegetable Indian Seasoning Dish w/ a hint of Soy Cheese
Snack: The rest of my lunch
Snack: Green Juice from my new Juicer--(broccoli, cucumber, celery, grapes, apple, spinach)---The best!! :drool5:!!!
Snack: Fruit Juice from my New Juicer-(orange, 1/2 grapefruit, watermelon, cucumber).=save the pulp for my morning smoothie
...+ 2 shots of alcohol...eeeeee...I know...I know...cooking..it happens...!

Food Today:

Brkfst: Smoothie (pulp from juice last night)
Snack: Handful of cherries and grapes
Lunch: 2 eggs mixed with vegetable pulp and juice pulp from yesterday..and made a pattie...SO GOOD!...my bf loved it!!...W/ sea salt, pepper, and onion powder!..Whala! (I was really craving eggs!)
Snack: apple
Snack: raw walnuts and raw almonds..small handful
Dinner: Probably a juice..I have class tonight...???

29- Friday: 30 mins. of Suana w/ Yoga Moves in there-tons of sweat @ Ballys -w/ Ivette and Coco-b4 work (Day one of morning Gym!)

.............:party: :party:...The doctor told me right now...That my pap came back..and I'm CANCER FREE STILL!!!...it has been one whole year since I healed myself!! :iagree:

....And I will continue to exercise and be grateful for my healing.!!! Thank you dear LORD!!!!...One year ago, I was at level 4/5 Cervical Cancer Cells which at level 5 is FULL BLOWN CANCER :(...and I had the procedure done..and It all came back...within 6 months with aggressive cancer cells...and I watched the Secret Documentary..and got off my butt, started running and trying to lose weight, started at 187 lbs......and started Running....and STARTED THIS DIARY...and I have healed myself since then....!!! :party:!

...the doctor says that cancer cells are GONE!!!!....But I knew it was gonna be that way..because I allowed myself the time to change my actions, to believe that I was healed and to repeat it to God a million times a day!! and ....most important BELEIVE IT & FEEL IT!!! :iagree:!!!


...this is a GREAT GREAT DAY FOR ME!...sometimes some things Life hands us on our plate..is just not meant for us to eat!!!...no one said we had to either!!! HAVE FAITH!!!...WE CAN CHANGE ANYTHING!!! :D!!!

...I'm so happy I'm crying :cry:..hahahah!!....GOD IS AMAZING!!!....I am blessed!!! THANK YOU FOR LIFE!!!
