Hi alta! i just wanted to stop in and say hi! funny i was thinking about you and wanted to check up on how you were doing and like magic, someone posted in your thread bringing it right to the top! I was looking at the picture thread and you look great! it makes me regret not posting myself, as i never notice a difference despite being down 41lbs. hope all is well and good luck with the run!

Hello all my LOVELY FRIENDS!!!!! :grouphug:! Real Quick...I've been fixing the turmoils in my head....and yesterday...since last week I was tired and lazy...and since my ankle had been out of commission FOREVER it seemed.....I decided that Yesterday was the day....to do what I have ONCE done...which I can do again.....and I did!!! !

...I slapped my running shoes on...and repeated to myself...."BECAUSE OF GOD WITHIN ME, GOD CAN DO ANYTHING THROUGH ME!"....

...and it worked! BAM! 9 milesssssss running ,no stopping, NO FREAKIN training!!!.MIND OVER MATTER!......and the best part was....not only did i repeat that phrase to myself like 500 times...throughout my run, but at the end...I LITERALLY COULD HAVE RUN ANOTHER 4.5 mile loop! ....now that was an accomplishment...I wasn't tired! Just inspired!

...Later I went to the sauna, and turned 3 girls in the Sauna onto Microbiotics and Raw Eating...! I love talking about this stuff...haha.....and they all thanked me a bunch....and said I had a great way of relating that stuff across to others real easy! ! Sweet!...We talked about the Laws of Attraction, and it turns out that we were All linked to each other through the Agape Center where I took my Raw eating courses, and one girl even had the Reverend on the cover of her book she was reading!....!!!

....Exercise Yesterday: 9 miles RUN ( took me a couple mins under 2 hours)--ankle felt AMAZING~! Light as a feather!
1 hour 15 mins. Sauna--

....Exercise this morning: 1 hour SPINNING-he killed us today
30 mins Sauna
....Exercise tonight....:...I hope...Swimming!...

........I'm FEELING GREAT TODAY!!!.....I'm gonna look into a Little Triathalon that is coming up in June, that the one nice chick in Raw eating class told me about....hmmm...I'll probably give her a call later about it! ...Maybe we can set up a day to work out together like she said....!

I saw you are in the challenge going on somewhere...how is it going? how much you lost now...in inches even....WHICH IS A LOT OF TIMES MORE ACCURATE to me ;) heheheh!!!

Hey Heyyyyyyyyyyy!!! So glad you stopped in here!! :D:!! ...Awww you should have taken pics....you would be able to tell so much by now...I think..more than the actual lbs...cause at the end of story if you aren't comfortable with how you look and feel...what do the pounds matter anyway right?!!....I literally haven't weighed in since March...I think....and at that the last time I did...was for the pics...158lbs....

...now I switched my focus...not to lbs...but to GOALS.....my next goal is May 17-12k
...and then after that...to keep my swim, running, and cycling/spinning and yoga on lock...A TRIATHALON some time July or August! :D!...it's really helping me though...Hope you are doing great!!! AND I AM IMPRESSED with how far you have come!! Truly!!! :D!! BE PROUD OF YOURSELF...& take a pic now..and POST IT..in the Month 2 Month Challenge with us!! :D!! DO IT! DO IT!! ...and then a quick drive over to the gym-Hop in the pool ASAP before they close....do about 35 mins. in the pool-laps and 25 mins. in Sauna!

Breakfast: Raw Oatmeal- Soaked Buckwheat Oats- blended with Strawberries
& Syrup sprinkled with fresh strawberries and cinnamon

Snack: Fruit Smoothie
-1 avocado -(positive effects on cholesterol, vital life force, high in soluble fiber, can improve blood circulation)
-1/2 mango-(Benefits toward reducing colon and cervical cancer :, high in iron, beneficial for vegetarians and vegans)
-Papaya- small palm size chunk-(high in the enzyme which digests protein and since it is effective in supporting digestion, is thought to control
premature aging. Papaya seeds contain special beneficial enzymes-should be taking in moderation-can be applied
directly on skin for more youthful appearance )
-1 banana-(eating high fiber foods, such as bananas, helps prevent heart disease,potassium found in bananas may also help to promote bone health
and restores potassium an essential electrolyte)
- 6 strawberries-(decrease blood pressure, which may reduce the risk of heart disease, have higher levels of vitamin c, fiber, folate and potassium)

Snack(after run and Swim and Sauna) : Orange + Fermented Electrolyte Replenisher Rejuvelac

Dinner: Same as Lunch

Well, my weight-loss has stagnated since Christmas really... but people still keep commenting on my body... so I think the running is doing it's thing "changing my shape" or whatever! :)

The eating is my problem... I get into binge trances... and it can go on for days. So I am just focusing on healthy choices and moderation at the moment, then will go back to counting calories on 1 May :)

So stunned by your raw food commitment, I think maybe one day I'll try that one day (when I'm a stay at home mom and have lots of money and time :) )

I havent been around in awhile. Still doing good and changing my lifestyle. I am stuck at 20 pounds but weigh in today after sticking to it all week and actually getting some running time on the treadmill. 3 months ago I couldnt run 2 minutes and now I am up to almost 10 minutes at a time. My foot problems have almost disappeared as well!!!

Anyway I wanted to stop in and see how you are...very fabulous as usual.....

I really like what you said Alta , sometimes were so focused on our goal and see how much we still got to go that we forget how far we have comed . Well still have allot to go but if we look back and see we have acomplished so much that it sometimes even amazes us . Alta girl what up ? Sorry I dint visited you in a long time 2 words (Spring Break) yeah that should explain it all . Im glad you are ok and still keeping focus on your goal . Stay strong Alta and continue ur journey take care ill c u later !
