Wow, I've also been doing soul searching and reading a lot... currently into Eckhart Tolle's "A New Earth - Discovering your life's purpose"... good stuff if you're looking for more... try get the Oprah podcasts of it first to get an idea of the book.

Glad you are doing so great, it always inspires me to be better myself!

OKAY......so the verdict is.....I did it.....I got on a scale with boots on and a wool sweater on...LOL.....(you know alllll that extra weight ;)...well....the guys told me they thought is was over about 5 lbs....but I don't think so.....

I had originally stopped weighing in and after my cruise at the end of May...I know I ballooned back up well into the high 160's.........

...but the scale next door said.......153.5 lbs!

That it is lower YESSSSS it is......that it is accurate.....WHO THE HELL KNOWS...

This week for sure at the gym, I am going to weigh in FOR REAL!!!!!:ack2:

I am soooooo sick....and I lost my voice, my throat hurts, BUT MANNNNNN DID I DRINK A TON in VEGAS!!!!! :party:.....OUR TRIP WAS AMAZING!!!!
 
Just jumped on really quick to tell ya....

If you weighed that much with clothes on AND after a weekend of eating/drinking in Vegas I'm sure you'll drop down into the 140's really quick here. Good job girlie.

Alta, first, I'm so glad that you guys had a blast in Vegas. It was such a great idea and to see it through, you guys deserve a lot of credit. I'm hoping that some details of the fun are soon coming, well at least the ones that don't have to stay in Vegas. :biggrinjester:

Second, I weigh myself every which way. With clothes, without, just without shoes, just without shoes and pants. Just about any combination you can think of. With work boot on, jeans and a t shirt, and the usual stuff in my pockets (wallet, keys, phone) it adds just about 10 pounds even. If you were fully dressed and wearing boots I think you could easily subtract 5 pounds. time to update the ticker. :sifone:

Good morning!!! I love reading your diary! You are so motivating and full of energy! That is way cool when you can get people pumped up just reading your posts. I remember when I first saw you on here and your writing was very strange to me with the capitals, the bold and the ..........'s but now as I have watched you and have gotten to "know" you better it is amazing what that style of writing does! And here you are just writing your own thoughts and goals but it's very powerful!

Alta my dear, you went on so many vacations and you STILL lost weight this summer. Remember, it's all YOU baby--YOU deserve to be HOT, YOU have all the ability to do anything you want, and YOU will accomplish anything you put your mind too. Hell, today I got a new low I haven't seen in over a year, and I'd been wanting it the whole time. I just had to buckle down and DO IT, no matter how hard it was (is).

THANK YOU!!!! :party: OMG....let me tell you....it WASSSSS AMAZING!!!! It'd been forever since an ALL GIRLS trip for me!!!.....really though......FOREVER!!! LOL!!!!

I couldn't have asked for a better group of girls to be with!!! Each one is GOLDEN!!! :)

So.....wow, you really think....5lbs huh!?!?! Hmm.....maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up too high and wait for Saturday to weigh in!!!!....Then....maybe I could update that ticker.....;)

Girl....you didn't NEED ME TO MAKE YOU HOT.......cause you are ALREADY HOT! :drool5:!! You have the most beautiful features and your face was like a canvas to me....I LOVED IT!!!!
