Couch POTATO to "MARATHON" HONEY! :)

Awesome job girlie. Way to stay sober. I'm seriously motivated by you right now!
AWWWW....thank you.....I still have no desire to drink!!! I stopped counting the days......now.....can you believe it!! YESSSS!!! I'm doing it for all of you and ME, but I want to look different to you ladies!!! :grouphug:

i'm re-posting what i put in my diary in your diary because i want you to read my love for you!

"...as i tear from reading your always beautiful words...i just want you to know how much you mean to me...from the sandbox to the gym last night...you're an amazing piece of my heart. i could never imagine my life without you...and pray to God that i will never ever have to.

i'm only as good as the people i surround myself with...birds of a feather flock together...and my friend we are so high...so fly. thank you for everything that you mean to me...i know true friendship because of you. you're my sister...beyond anything else...the sister i never had.

you're amazing...inspire me and light that fire under my ass each and every time. not too many people have that mental connection and that's what i treasure most in our friendship.

hope to see you tonight! XOXO..."

anyway, other than that i just want EVERYONE IN THIS THREAD TO KNOW WHAT AN AMAZING HUMAN BEING ALTA IS. she looks out for the best interest of the WHOLE and when i say whole i mean that she gets the big picture. she's not out to just help herself or those close to her...even though she always does. she wants to save the world from legal disasters and big sharks who prey and eat little people. anyway, take a page out of her life story and it would add to many years of most. i look up to you and am so blessed to have you in my life. :grouphug:

Hey Alta!!

Next weeks bonus challenge is all you girl! (Week 15) Please send me your challenge ASAP so I can post it early please!!!!!

Thank You!

Damn Alta, why you gotta go and make me cry like that? It's nice to hear that from you. You turned out fabulous and that gives me hope for her. I sometimes wonder if I've messed her up. But to this day she is ones of the sweetest girls I've had the pleasure of knowing. She just makes me want to try harder.

She will have a fabulous life I just have to picture it and believe it. I've struggled before and I'll do it again but we always end up where we need to be.

Thank you for your words and support and love. You are an amazing person with a huge heart and I hope you know how special you are.

THIS WAS BEAUTIFULLY SAID!!

...you know what's funny is that when you talk of you and your daughter, it reminds me and WARPS me back to me and my mom growing up because you are SO YOUNG and PRETTY, and HARD WORKING and SINGLE, and my mom and I were at about YOUR AGES too!...I had the YOUNG HOT mom, like you and your daughter, she had me at about 20 yrs, and when I was about 5 years old, they go divorced....right after my little brother was born....IT WAS HARD....on both of us...it definitely forced me to grow up a lot faster than I wanted to...but YOU DO TOGETHER what is needed to survive ....and the reason I tell you is because I have a WARMTH in my heart for women out there who STRUGGLE by themselves, and DO IT ANYWAY to protect their own!!!
....You know, I completely understand your situation, and let me tell you...those little quality moments...even at the park, smiling together, what ever it may be...those are the moments that COUNT!!! When you talk about you and your daughter, I think of me and my mom......I understand the struggles that single women go through to raise their kids, because we were one of them!!! There were so many good times, and so many tough times....but I'll tell you...we had EACH OTHER........no matter what happened in life...no one could take that away from us.....& IT IS TOUGH being single and raising kids!! I know...!!! My mom too had to work crazy hours just to make us survive and be able to have the small things we asked for! I am so grateful to her today!!! You have no IDEA, and the struggles and lack of time spent together, made me REALLY appreciate her and the time we did get to spend together!!! I commend you and YOU WILL SEE, all your HARD WORK will pay you back a MILLION FOLDED back!!! I just wanted to tell you that, because I know what it is like to be on the daughter's end of the stick in your situation....and HOW MUCH THOSE moments spent together STILL shine up my LIFE and bring me great feelings of JOY!!! I believe it's the struggles, the tears, the smiles, the laughs, the talks we had that I saw my mom go through for me and my little brother, as a SINGLE mother, that made us CLOSER than ever!!! ......The thing I loved the most, was that no matter how much she had to work, she always had time, to laugh, cuddle, and joke, and when she had time, we DID do little things together!!! BELIEVE ME THOSE RUNS, THOSE TALKS, everything, they will mean SO MUCH TO HER in the future!!! You are doing a GREAT JOB, and YOUR HEART just shines right through!!! I CAN SEE IT!!!!!!!!!

...YOU are PRECIOUS,....and GOD KNOWS IT, you have been BLESSED!!!!!!

I agree with you about the "little" things in life that make that bond between parent and child special. I have my kids everyday from 6pm to 9pm, as well as pretty much every weekend, and love ever minute with them. I get to hear about their days...I get to help with homework...I get to take them to the park, on trail hikes, or to sports that they love to play...Then I get to bathe them, read to them, say there prayers with them then kiss them goodnight. I get all the little momments, and I am so fortunate. I hope when my kids are grown up, they can be as kind, supportive, and have as many fond memories as you!! You are a beautiful person with an amazing heart.

Thank you so much!!!YOU are sweet!!! :grouphug:.....I think that anyone who can take the time and the effort out of their daily lives to nurture that of their children is A "SAINT" in my eyes!!! REALLY!!!!....I often times look back and reflect, and oh how the tears roll down my cheeks....IN A GOOD WAY of course....because I MISS THOSE LITTLE things....!!! I miss all the times we just got to cuddle, the safety net, the free fun times, the not having worry because you were taken care of....someone to FIGHT FOR YOU, who adores you more than life!!!! Even though my parents got divorced, we STILL were lucky, because we would see my father every other weekend....and IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL....because we got to enjoy the BEST of EACH of them.....separately!! I look back, and I wouldn't of had it any other way!!! :beating:.....The things you do with your daughter is AMAZING and you too...I COMMEND you.....!!! ;)....You want to know the one thing that I remember that I thought was so sweet about my dad, that shocked me coming out of a man....was that he would always sit us on the toilet and since we were little, he would give us PEDICURES!!!...:smilielol5:....I'll never forget that!! We used to sit there and giggle and say we were gonna make a NASTY TOE NAIL SOUP and that we were gonna force it upon the OUR PREY!!! :reddevil:....THE EVIL WITCHES BREW!!!!...LOL....silly....I know!! ;)......but you know how it is......

....It's different when you are all grown up, REALITY hits and stress, and LIFE, and pressures....it all comes.....and you know one day....it was funny....because ONE DAY it all dawned on me....LIKE a LIGHT BULB....it's not that a lot of people get old.....it's that they are young kids stuck in an AGING body, and what can you do about it....

....we are forced to give up and outgrow things that used to make us SO HAPPY then...and what is so wonderful in talking to older people is the way that we all have childhood memories....and MOST people love to talk about them.....because it is WHAT MADE US WHO WE ARE TODAY!!! Our basis....our foundation....OUR BEGINNING!!! That is why I love when parents, are so nurturing,....because it is those memories that will guide us to be the AMAZING PEOPLE we are all destined to be!!! :iagree:....NOT to mention....that it gives the ADULT the opportunity, to stop FAKING the FUNK.....cause I know we're all BIG KIDS STUCK IN THESE SHELLS DAMMIT!!! :smilielol5:

....YOU ROCK DADDIO!!! ;)
