THIS WAS BEAUTIFULLY SAID!!
...you know what's funny is that when you talk of you and your daughter, it reminds me and WARPS me back to me and my mom growing up because you are SO YOUNG and PRETTY, and HARD WORKING and SINGLE, and my mom and I were at about YOUR AGES too!...I had the YOUNG HOT mom, like you and your daughter, she had me at about 20 yrs, and when I was about 5 years old, they go divorced....right after my little brother was born....IT WAS HARD....on both of us...it definitely forced me to grow up a lot faster than I wanted to...but YOU DO TOGETHER what is needed to survive ....and the reason I tell you is because I have a WARMTH in my heart for women out there who STRUGGLE by themselves, and DO IT ANYWAY to protect their own!!!
....You know, I completely understand your situation, and let me tell you...those little quality moments...even at the park, smiling together, what ever it may be...those are the moments that COUNT!!! When you talk about you and your daughter, I think of me and my mom......I understand the struggles that single women go through to raise their kids, because we were one of them!!! There were so many good times, and so many tough times....but I'll tell you...we had EACH OTHER........no matter what happened in life...no one could take that away from us.....& IT IS TOUGH being single and raising kids!! I know...!!! My mom too had to work crazy hours just to make us survive and be able to have the small things we asked for! I am so grateful to her today!!! You have no IDEA, and the struggles and lack of time spent together, made me REALLY appreciate her and the time we did get to spend together!!! I commend you and YOU WILL SEE, all your HARD WORK will pay you back a MILLION FOLDED back!!! I just wanted to tell you that, because I know what it is like to be on the daughter's end of the stick in your situation....and HOW MUCH THOSE moments spent together STILL shine up my LIFE and bring me great feelings of JOY!!! I believe it's the struggles, the tears, the smiles, the laughs, the talks we had that I saw my mom go through for me and my little brother, as a SINGLE mother, that made us CLOSER than ever!!! ......The thing I loved the most, was that no matter how much she had to work, she always had time, to laugh, cuddle, and joke, and when she had time, we DID do little things together!!! BELIEVE ME THOSE RUNS, THOSE TALKS, everything, they will mean SO MUCH TO HER in the future!!! You are doing a GREAT JOB, and YOUR HEART just shines right through!!! I CAN SEE IT!!!!!!!!!
...YOU are PRECIOUS,....and GOD KNOWS IT, you have been BLESSED!!!!!!
I agree with you about the "little" things in life that make that bond between parent and child special. I have my kids everyday from 6pm to 9pm, as well as pretty much every weekend, and love ever minute with them. I get to hear about their days...I get to help with homework...I get to take them to the park, on trail hikes, or to sports that they love to play...Then I get to bathe them, read to them, say there prayers with them then kiss them goodnight. I get all the little momments, and I am so fortunate. I hope when my kids are grown up, they can be as kind, supportive, and have as many fond memories as you!! You are a beautiful person with an amazing heart.
