Whatever, lets see some movement on the scale... then I'll be impressed.

Two more week, Alta. Stay strong. Remember, the harder you work now the better the play will be then.
SURE will, won't it....sure will.......I just have to remember!!! Ohhhh how I want drinks all the time.........:(.....beer.....hmmmmm....like HOMER, from the SIMPSONS!!! LOL

Another 30lbs and I'll be hittin the trails fo sheezy. :gnorsi:

:D :D :D ;)

Alta, you and I can enjoy some good beer as long as we eat right and exercise enough. I have lost, hmmm, 10 pounds over the past 3 months, which is slow, but I'm still losing, and I have all the beer I want. But, uh, don't listen to me...

I still eat right and exercise, Alta knows that. Its just the running is really hard on my knees. I've been droping 2-3lbs a week, so if I keep it up only 15 more weeks til I'm running.

I'm with you, Alta. I'll look in the fridge and see all that beer. "don't worry ladies. I'll be seeing you soon enough" They look so sad there, all cold and lonely with no Trops to play with. Good thing that fridge door shuts tight.

I'd love to but I'm still too fat and have bad knees. Good job w/ the runs though.
Gooooooosh MACCY.....you know, I feel ya, I was having some knee issues, but I washed my mentality, and ran as far as I could, and then I would stop, and then a REALLY heavy PERSON one day, ran right by me I would say minimum 350lbs...min..., and SMOKED ME, and I mean SMOKED me, ....I don't know how long they ran, but the point that THEY WANTED IT, WERE DOING IT FOR HOWEVER LONG THEY COULD inspired me, and I shut up, and GAVE IT ALL 30 steps I could run......then it just kept adding.....

.....I would find that I would focus my attention on the negative, and right away when I would start my first couple steps be telling myself the SAME thing, OHHH I have bad knees or I can't run what am I doing, Oh I'm too fat to run, OH THIS OH THAT!!!...and what would happen, of course, RIGHT AWAY, I would be tired, and then what next, YUP, just like I told myself, I WANTED THE PAIN to come, for a REASON to STOP running.!!! I WAS THE QUEEN OF THEM!!! :iagree:....and I"M TOO FAT WITH BAD KNEES was at the top of mine......not to say you are bullshitting but......

...excuses....do what you can....and what you can do is ENOUGH!!! JUST DO IT!....

....IF YOU THINK YOU CAN OR YOU CAN'T, you are probably right either way!!!......:)

...when I started telling myself, OH I CAN RUN, OH I HAVE THE GREATEST KNEES, OH HOW EASY THIS IS..... then ...IT DID GET EASY, then I COULD go a bit further, then BREATHING became easier, then I WAS DONE WITH MY RUN...one day, one step, one thought at a time.........

...don't gimme that BULLSHIT MACCY.....ain't no PITTY PARTY HERE FOR YOU!!!.....:iagree:

...:grouphug: I HAVE TOO MUCH FAITH IN YOU!!! YUPPPPPPPPPP!!! :iagree:

Shaun, don't fuck up yo knees. Just don't do it, I'm with you on this one.

Too late. Dislocated one a while back. Think I had a minor tear in my ACL a few months ago too. I read that every pound lost is 4lbs of pressure off your knees though. So I feel better every week.

ok so I took into consideration what you liked about the other dress and thought this would be fun....plus you can pair with gold or silver accessories to give it a diff vibe an depending on the undertones in your skin etc etc and it's simple enough to tone down or dress up

not to mention a killer pair of heels will do amazing things for your legs as well

Shaun, stick to the elliptical for now. You'll get ready for the running and it will have so much less stress on your knees. You'll know when they are strong enough.
