Couch POTATO to "MARATHON" HONEY! :)

I was actually out with my exgf today eating some enchiladas and told her that i'm trying this 23 chews thing..and of course she reminded me that she told me that already.

I did it by putting my fork down after every bite and sit back and enjoy the food. Definitely taste a lot more flavors savouring every chew.

Funny thing is i notice how easily i just want to chew and swallow right away.

Ken, that's hilarious that she reminded you of that! My bf and I were laughing with another couple yesterday because it seemed that she had been telling him things about fitness and he was never listening. He joined my secret fitness healthy eating group on Facebook and all of a sudden starts incorporating my tips. I told her, ''Girl, don't worry, look at my bf. I've been telling him for years to not eat right before bed too, and look, I put Chalean Extreme's motivational fitness cd it comes with on, and Chalene (the trainer lady) says to not do it & he immediately takes command. He FINALLY is barely starting Shakeology after me doing it for 3 months now.''

It was a great laugh. I thought of you too. Lol

It is funny how we just want to chew and swallow FAST. I still notice that. I have to be very conscious of it still because it's not second nature yet to me either.
 
Alta, you are such a star! Congrats on 149 and readjusting your target to 139 - what a great achievement and such hard work to get there!

I love the mindful eating tips - I am definitely someone who eats something planning what they are going to eat for their next meal - food is like a fetish! Its all about changing your mind's relationship with food and getting back in tune with what your body needs, what stuff tastes like and what the right portion is - how often do I end up half way thorugh eating something thinking I'm not actually enjoying this?! Why am I eating calories that I don't want and am not enjoying?!?! Too often. But changing this slowly but surely!

I hear you doll, it's just so difficult to do at the moment. I know this too. I've caught myself thinking about my next meal too. It's ridiculous, but slowly and surely we can all change together!! xoxox :) Get it, girl!!
 
Spending the day with my grandma!!! She flew in from South Carolina & it's the funniest thing, my little brother is walking around with his little guns & saying, "p90x!!! p90x!! Check out my pistols." HAHAH!!!!

It's funny how we end up rubbing off on the people we love.

He actually told a team mom the other day that brought them, Ritz cracker snacks, "No thanks. That's not healthy. I'll just have the water." :eek: The mother's mouth almost dropped to the floor & her eyes popped out.

Like what the hell, "Did a 6 year old just 'school' me?" :D! ... Yes. He did.

He actually loves Shakeology! It's so funny... he thinks it's a treat and healthy. :beating: I'm loving that I'm shaping the life of those around me. My bf just started with Shakeology yesterday too. I'm so happy for him. :D! Especially since he skips SO MANY meals, that this will help him eat and get his nutrients.

I actually got a hypnotherapy client the other day that told me he saw my testimonial or something on youtube and I almost got worried. Like, "hmm,...which video did he see?"

The good thing was that he said that his little 8 year old girl with ADHD would love me! That my personality fit. I was like "Whew!" LOL!!!

Again, thankkkkkks for taking the time to watch little ol me on youtube as well. :grouphug:!! I admire you as well!!
 
Well, life after Vegas has been great!

I've started a New 20 day Clean Eating Challenge in a Secret Facebook group & today was day 1~! I love that so many people are committing to themselves. It's amazing!!!

I went to Whole Foods Market today (come shopping with me!):

....and then, I made my own Raw Cacao Shake...:drool5:!!

I am feeling really good! I caught myself feeling a little down at night about business & me falling off of being consistent the past two days (mainly due to Vegas) and feeling blah! ....But, after my workout, BAM... felt great. Peace.

Measurements come for my 30 days of Chalean in a couple days. Day 27 doubles tonight! 35 burn circuit 3, turbo fire 30 mins, 10 min ab burn. = completed:D!

Food breakdown today ( DAY 1 of Facebook Secret Accountability Challenge) :

Bkfst: Chocolate Shakeology (tier 1)
Snack: 1 large carrot w/3 tbsp natural hummus (tier 1 and 2)
Snack: 1/2 wheat bread roll w/ tiny chunk of cheese inside (Tier 2 & Tier 2) + Kombucha -fermented probiotic drink
Lunch: Lean white meat Chicken breast w/ onions and red bell peppers, large mixed greens salad, fresh tomato sliced w/ red onion slices, tiny sprinkle light cheese-very little-olive oil sprinkle (Tier 1 & 2)
Snack: 1/2 slice of Raw Cake slice ( cashew, carob, agave, psyllium husk, walnut, dates, coconut oil -YUM! wow!
Dinner: 1 Raw Cocoa Shake (cocoa, agave, cashews, banana, mesquite powder, goji berries)
After workout: will be the other 1/2 of the shake + wheat grass cup.

Also, cruise for Set. 9th is paid for. It's done. I have to be in a bikini by then! Must. I already have two. Time to work & fight for it. :boxing:

Hey cowboy! I hope so. I was thinking about the cruise already & telling myself that some MOTIVATIONAL clothing would be nice too!! :) I can't wait for it to be here. We are going to be a total of couples going. SO MUCH FUN!!! :jump:!

The things I'm changing to catapult me into the 128's....

-Reduce sugar (even fruit sugar to only berries which have fiber & grapefruit. Once a day, early for snack before lunch.)
-Automate my meals -6-7 little meals a day
-Only fish & egg whites (no chicken, meat, or dairy, or wheat right now)
-Shock my body into a new fitness program Hybrid- Chalean & Insanity & Bootcamp
-Shakeology two times a day. Bkfst, and lunch or dinner.
-WATERRRRRRRRRRRRRR
-Hot green tea
-Only Tier 1 of Michi's Ladder
-1 fresh squeeze green juice daily- in my juicer- green veggies-
-NO SALT - NO SUGAR-NO ADDED DAIRY (I freakn love cheese!)

...and PURE POSITIVE THOUGHTS! I know I can do this. ;-)

CRUNCH TIME BEFORE MY SEPT. 9th cruise~! New Youtube Video Blog post!

I can't even express into words, the EXCITEMENT RUNNING THROUGH MY VEINS!!!! Yesterday's shopping did something to me, it created .... FOCUS & DETERMINATION!!!!!! I realize that it's CRUNCH TIME for me. Regardless of whether or not you have an immediate goal, right now, MAKE ONE. Determination is something that creates a PASSION! A burning desire. A relentless way of thinking, and let me tell you, EVERYONE IS CAPABLE OF THIS!

It's time to FOCUS!!! I went to the market, and I'm ONLY sticking to Michi's tier 1 ladder. The goal is 128 lbs by September 9th! Can I do it? Who knows... Will I die trying...? HELLLLLLLLLL YA! Each and every one of you can do anything you want in life. When we remove the road blocks you FEEL IT, YOU SEE IT, YOU CAN DO IT! .... Determination is born. A warrior is made. Warriors aren't born, they are MADE. And trust me, I wasn't this focused either a very short time ago. BUT NOW, nothing in life will hold me back other than me, and I've shut that BIATCH up! ;-) hehehe! ....So with that said, SHUT ALL THE EXCUSES OFF, & make it happen. No matter what. ...Chalean always says, "YOU HAVE TO WANT THIS!" .... I wish this for you all too! .... I'm SO PROUD OF YOU ALL!!! Bring it!!! ? Alta
