Confessions of a food Junkie

Kallie you are doing so wonderfully. It certainly appears as though you got it all under control! You are smoken!

Miss Kallie, way to go! pumping iron, I'm impressed!

LOL  The last time I was "pumping iron" was when I was training with my badmintin doubles partner back in highschool Hahaha and hardly ever with my arms. It was mainly my legs.

I definately want to have muscle definition when I reach my goal weight.

Hey guys,

yesterday's food was terrible. I only had a bagel, and a cookie yesterday. I had the worst headache and slept from 4 to 8pm yesterday. Today has been awesome. I feel a little bit better, the headaches are really debilitating, but I ate healthy all day so far and I got my 3 miles in again, plus I'm going to start crunchies and lifting weights for longer. I haven't been seeing the effects I was hoping for, so I think I need to step up the exercise. I have to loose for tomorrow!

Hey Miss_Kallie, you are doing a good job. Congrats on starting weight training. You will see a change soon. Do not expect the scale to go down much, because now you will be gaining muscle which is better. The muscles will help you loose fat around the clock. I do weights 3-4 days a week, I have not notice a change in the scale, but I lost a dress size. :)

a begal and a cookie? That ain't good... eating so little is a huge no no. It's no wonder you had head aches. I'm glad to hear you've eaten healthier today. Like Gothika said though, don't worry about not seeing results on the scale just yet... if your working out, you're doing just fine!

I can completely relate to you when it comes to headaches. I would rather have a tooth pulled then to have a migraine.

Keep up the great work, you are doing fabulous!

Hey guys,

sorry I haven't been around much these past few weeks. My hubby's been off work, so we've been trying to spend his week off together cuz it only happens once or twice a year and we're always in much need of some one on one time because of our 3 year old.

Anyways, yesterday was great. I ate well and I walked my 3 miles. I still had a furious headache.

Today I've eaten well so far, only supper left to eat (which will be some sort of chicken dish) and then I just finished my 3 mile walk for today. I get the headaches at night time. I'm not sure what's causing them, but yesh!

I'm going to start very slowly with the crunchies (LOL) I'm going to do 25-50 and then my 10 lb weights.

Why won't this reflect on the scale? I have such large amounts of fat to lose, would some sort of loss show up regardless. I very highly doubt that even with muscle that I would weight over 300lbs.

I weighted today and I was up 1.5lbs back to the friday before last. I don't get it. I haven't over consumed calories and I've been doing my walks and such. GAH!

I hear ya MK. I go through the same thing. I follow my plan really closly and the scale shows such a small change, a gain or nothing at all when I exercise and eat well for the week. As soon as I take a break from exercise the scale seems to start to creep down. I am just as baffelled as you.

I'm sick do death of the scale and I start my scale challenge today! I weighed myself for the last time for one whole month!

yea I do.

I have a very mild reaction to raspberries and strawberries and quite bad to mold in grass (seasonal stuff) and cig. smoke which makes my asthma flare up/

Ouch !! two of the finest diet foods in the world too :(

I'm glad you got to spend some quality time with the hubby :)

If I have raspberries or strawberries, I just have to make sure they're pretty ripe (like atleast 5 days old in the fridge) and then I barely even have any reaction. It's the mold and such that really gets me.

don't get disheartened MissK. It took you years to put on the weight, you can't expect it to just disappear overnight. Your body is resisting this change of lifestyle but I think you should keep pushing through. Eventually your body will get the hint, you're not starving it. And with all the extra walking you're doing, your metabolism will slowly rise. :) So don't give up. *hugs* Just give yourself time.

I think I'm going to start weighing in on sundays :) because that gives me one day of rest from exercise and maybe that's what I need to have a good weigh in day. I weighed in this morning at 314.5 (ticker won't let me put .5 help?) *YAY* after a day where I didn't even do any exercise...go figure LOL.

I'm a lot happier now hehe!
