Yup I am still fighting the good fight. Gotta get back to reporting my calories again though.

I have been so busy cleaning and getting rid of crap in my house I only ate what was near me which was 3 cookies today. I plan on eating something more nutritious soon though.
 
shining the sink i could deal with - though seems kinda silly when it's just gonna get dirty again tomorrow :) shoes in the house will never happen :D

But if it works for you- more power to you- i'm a disorganized slob :D

i like the flylady.net site, i'm hugely disorganised and think its because i want everything to be perfect and i get completely bogged down with so much to do. i end up achieving nothing! i reckon the 'shine the sink' idea is brilliant. i hardly ever would get the dishes done at night - always exhausted from kids, work, house, cooking, shopping etc. but taking the 15 mins to do it made me SO happy when i got up in the morning to a clean kitchen :)

i wish i had some of the super duper organising genes of others!
 
wow that flylady sounds just like what i need. I never get up and get dressed in the morning! (sarcasm lol)

My house is a mess at the best of times :D
 
Oh goodness, I did shined the sink and dressed down to my Mocassins (sp??) today, so step 1 and 2 down...I guess I should get to bed soon!

I like the fly lady. I don't do everything. I don't read her motivational moments or any of that stuff, but I do like the zone concept and the 27 fling boogie. I have thrown so much out doing that exercise. I love it. My junk mail has become a non issue as I take care if it before I even come into the house as she suggested. There are some good things in there...other things....not so much.

I tried FlyLady for awhile, but she bugged me.

Well I am on day 3 of FlyLady's 31 steps.

So far, I have to shine the sink, get fully dressed when I wake up, and read for 2 minutes a day.

ON my to do list:

*1 load of wash a day
*Set aside bottles of water that I must drink a day.
*Be in bed by 10:45pm everynight

I don't really look ahead of schedual, so I don't really know what's coming next. I signed up for fly lady a week or so before Sept meaning to start on the 1st, so I have to read through back e-mails to doing my 2 minutes. I've switched to a daily digest instead of single emails that were driving me nuts LOL.

Anyways, I joined free cycle to help me get rid of all the clutter. I've given away about 6 to 7 bags of kid clothes a garbage bag full of my old clothes, a infant toy(large), and exersaucer, a grab box and am waiting to give away an arm chair, highchair and a stroller.

I love to see the clutter go! I still have about 8 large boxes of stuff for next years yard sale, as well as a kid's wagon to go in the sale so my garage is still quiet cluttered, but it's a lot better than it was.

I also managed to steam clean my couch and my sons mini recliner (sp??) and want to do my carpets.

I am still needing to go through my son's toys and get rid of some of that still.

I start school in 2 days so it is important to me to get this stuff done before school starts.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow is just like a meet and greet basically but I start the gym tomorrow at the university and I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nervous!


I don't know...Does anyone have any tips for me?

I wish I was going to school...I'm taking courses through correspondence, but it's not nearly the same!
 
Thanks DQ! I will try to be myself so if I fall on my face at the gym tomorrow that would totally be me. LOL Last year, first day I fell down (well slipped, landed on my but and slide the rest of the way down) a couple flights of stairs infront of about 100 or so people. It was fantastic for being an icebreaker.

Anyways, so today is day 4 of Flylady. I'm really enjoying this so far. Tomorrow if my first day of using the Flylady morning routine (and I thrive with routine) so it should be fun.

Today, I did Flylady Kelley's zone mission, which was to "attack" the top and front of the fridge clutter. I did well I believe. I cleared a few spots so my kitchen is well on it's way to being clutter free and spic and span!:cool:
 
Hey Guys,

so school started back up again this week. I started the gym today and it was totally awesome!!!!!!!!!!!


I did 25 minutes on the eliptical and about 20 minutes worth of weights. I'm definately feeling it in my arms. I feel very proud of myself today!:D

WTG on getting started with the gym :D (And glad to hear you didn't slip down any stairs in the process!)

I have to admit - the animated guy is funny - but its kind of like running only with no impact and they burn about the same amount of calories :D
