Well,
it turns our you are right Pinny. She was well behaved until she went home. My parents came down this weekend and we went to Folk Fest. It is a city wide multi cultural festival. There are 18 different cultural pavillions spread out all across the city. At each pavillion, it focuses on the culture, food, drinks, music, dancing, crafts and demonstrations from each culture group. It was really fun. I made it to about half and really control my eating.
I had 1 progie (sp??), 3 small cabage rolls, a half a did something or other ( icecream rolled in a crepe with saskatoonberries over top, very small size) frim the Ukrainian pavillion and 1 skewer of chicken on a bun from the Greek Pavillion. To drink I had a diet coke (600 ml), 3 vodka and 7 ups, and one coors light with a side of clam. Then earlier in the day for lunch I had a slice of meat loaf. So I think I was ok for calories for the day and I got in a lot of walking and some dancing.
My favorite pavillion I visited was the Afro-Caribbean. I love the music and the dancing. They had some really hot latin dancers and some really amazing Africian dancers.
I'm now looking into taking some latin or african dancing. It should be fun!
