Confessions of a food Junkie

Hehe well done!
I hardly ever loose much diring the week when i workout but i always loose up to a kg over the weekend when i do nothing!
Now why didnt that happen before i started this weight loss thing! I would be non existant haha

Good Morning.

Have you had your blood pressure checked recently? Could be the cause of the headaces. My alergies are really bad this year as well. It could be just a bad year.

Just dropping by to say hello and remind you to kick some man butt today!

I think the girls will kick the boy's butts. I weighted in today (because of August 10 lb challange) and I am down to 313, which is already down 4.5lbs from friday (must of been retaining). Only 14lbs until "two-derland" :D

I haven't been this low for over a year now. I weighted 312 in April of 04 and stayed between 305 and 312 until this past year when I started university...all that eating out at lunch time. It's a happy and sad fact that once I get to the 200's, I will be at my lowest weight during my adult life.

Anyways, I've spent the last couple days outside at the park and paddling pool with the family. My little sister came to visit on the bus and will be with us until friday. We've been out to the movies twice. I saw Step Up last night and I LOVED it. Figured out I don't like movie popcorn anymore       LOL.

I woke up at 6:30am this morning (after only 4 hours of sleep...I love my son LOL) and so now I finally have some extra time to hit some diaries!

Hey Kallie, just swinging through your diary and checkin' in on ya. It looks like everything is A-Ok here and you're still fighting the good fight.

Hang in there Kallie, "two-derland" is just about a reality :) I can't wait !!

I can hardly wait either. I did 2 miles with the little sister today. Everything weightloss is going good today, but my little sister and I had a big fight and she tried to punch me. She is sooooo out of control. That's why my mom sent her for a "visit" because she was so sick of it. I sent her outside to cool off because if I didn't I swear to god I would have spanked her (LOL no easy task, she's bigger than me) and then put soap in her mouth for all the bad language. She acts worse than my 3 year old son. He rarely ever needs to have a time out or soap. I'm afraid I have to send her home early. I told her I do not put up with the same crap my parents do and I won't. I told her I love her but her attitude sucks and is very dissapointing.

good on you!
Sometimes they just need somebody to set the limits.
I had a row with my teenage son a couple weeks back and had to physiclly hold him down whilst he was trying to fight me. He didnt hit me or anything like that but due to weight lifting he wasnt able to get one over me for the 30 minutes it went on. And eventually he gave in. Hes been an angel ever since.

Yea,

I'm really sick of these out of control kids where they no boundaries and get whatever they want. She came back from being sent outside (LOL) and was ready to be civil. Hahaha *YES* a win for the parents outthere!

Anyways, today was pretty good. I need to get back on schedual for when I eat. That's about the only thing I need to work on right now.

Sounds like you've been doing a great job! I can't believe you don't like movie popcorn anymore ..... oh, wait.... I don't either! LOL

LOL I know. It's a big thing with me. I know how I got fat: Burger King (worked there for 2 years), icecream, chips/popcorn and pop, plus hardly any exercise.

Now I know how I'm not going to be fat anymore. It's so exciting. Everyday I walk and it's makes me even more determind to kee pit up.

Well today was good. I'm not hungry today. I ate a bagel, yogurt and grapes. If I get hungry later, I have a meatloaf.

Anywayas, gotta run to the laundry mat cuz our washing machine broke last night and I need clothes and then off to groceries.

Hi Kallie Wallie!

Sorry you are having a hard time with your sister. She will respect you more for setting limits with her. I don't think I have been under 200 since about 1984. I'm looking forward to it as well. I love your positive attitude. Keep it up.

Well,

it turns our you are right Pinny. She was well behaved until she went home. My parents came down this weekend and we went to Folk Fest. It is a city wide multi cultural festival. There are 18 different cultural pavillions spread out all across the city. At each pavillion, it focuses on the culture, food, drinks, music, dancing, crafts and demonstrations from each culture group. It was really fun. I made it to about half and really control my eating.

I had 1 progie (sp??), 3 small cabage rolls, a half a did something or other ( icecream rolled in a crepe with saskatoonberries over top, very small size) frim the Ukrainian pavillion and 1 skewer of chicken on a bun from the Greek Pavillion. To drink I had a diet coke (600 ml), 3 vodka and 7 ups, and one coors light with a side of clam. Then earlier in the day for lunch I had a slice of meat loaf. So I think I was ok for calories for the day and I got in a lot of walking and some dancing.

My favorite pavillion I visited was the Afro-Caribbean. I love the music and the dancing. They had some really hot latin dancers and some really amazing Africian dancers.

I'm now looking into taking some latin or african dancing. It should be fun!

wow. that sounds fun and awesome. we have festivals like that in Toronto too. I never go though...... cause I eat WAY too much when I'm there. :p Good job on the restraint though. Much better than me! hehehe.

Miss Kallie: Sounds like that festival is a bunch of fun!! They don't really have anything like that here in my part of the US. We're too busy yelling at people for taking to long in lines or driving like maniacs. I swear, Jersey is the worst state in the union for manners and kindness.

Anyway, hadn't heard from you in a few days and just wanted to stop in and say 'Hi!!'

Hope to see you soon!

That Festival sounded fun!!! Glad you had control over your portions.. I know I would've went over board. Weel, hope you found some classes on those dances.. That rhymes:D Have a GREAT Day and don't forget your WATER:D

Wow,

it's been a while.

Well I kinda of took some time for myself before school started and wasn't really up for writing in a journal everyday. I just wanted August to be over :p

Now it is and I'm busy getting ready for going back to school tuesday and I start going to the gym 3x a week (mon, wed, fri and possibly on the weekend if I'm allowed....its a gym at my university.)

Right now I started Flylady's to try and get my WHOLE life organized and I gotta shine my sink tonight lol.

I'm going through boxes and organizing and grouping (one for yard sale, one to give away and one for garbage and one for keeps).

Anyways,

I hope you all are doing well, as I am.:D

Hey Miss K,
It sounds like you're on your way of getting organized! I tried FlyLady for awhile, but she bugged me. I will NOT wear shoes in the house. It won't happen ;) However, there were little things I liked, like the 27 Fling Boogie!

Glad to hear you're going to the gym - very cool that you can do it at school!

Flylady is a yahoo group that helps you get your house/ life organized and under control. It starts by giving you a 31 step list to do, one step at a day.

The first step is to shine your sink before you go to bed.
The second day is to get up and dress fully down to shoes and shine your sink before you go to bed and so on.

I'm just trying to finish shining my sink for tonight. I'm doing a end of the summer cleaning in my house before I get back to school tuesday, so shining the sink is taking a lot longer than I wanted it to lol.

Good luck with the organizing Miss Kallie! I'm trying, but I keep finding less important things I would rather do:eek:
