I forgot to mention the grapes I ate too... some green some red... I like to make it colorful and fun! LOL

Goodnight everyone

I'm not going to class today. I'm taking a me day =0) So I'm moving kind of slow.

Once I finish up breakfast I'll head out to the gym.

Breakfast this morning is one slice of wheat bread with a couple of slices of turkey and a nectarine (its so yummy and sweet).

I hope everyone has a good morning.
Thank you to everyone who has been reading and posting the support and advice is greatly appreciated... Its really helpful for me:)

~Jenna

Gym's done and I feel AMAZING!!! :jump: I switched to the treadmill today...my body has not been very happy with the elliptical. I did 60 minutes on a hill setting ... so every minute I was at a different tilt on the treadmill. What a workout it was... 3.05 miles in an hour on the hills setting. Then I spent an hour doing weight training, abs, legs, and arms =0)

Carrots for an after gym snack

Have a good afternoon
~Jenna:)

Hi Boam...

Hope your day is going good. Sounds like it

Hello everyone,

I love good days. A day where it just goes by and I don't feel bad.
Gym this morning and then just relaxing for the rest of the day.
It was a wonderful ME day.

Weigh in in 15 days. Staying away from the scale and measuring tape has been so difficult. I kinda circle around it at the gym... just a few more days and I can get on. I have to set dates or I'll get on the scale a jillion times a day. I wish I didn't obsess over the numbers.

Food today: 1 slice of whole wheat bread with a couple of slices of turkey and a nectarine, carrots, 7 grain crackers with turkey and munster cheese, I made shrimp stir fry for dinner.... it was very very yummy =0) I need to still work on eating throughout the day. I'm trying to get to 6 times a day.

Jootsie thanks for stopping by!

Goodnight
~Jenna

Jenna, you've been doing great! I wish I had your strength to stay away from the scales, and your ability to eat as well as you do!

Glad you had a great day, and what a great journal! Keep up the good work and keep your spirits up!

hey there, looks like you're doing great. your motivation is amazing! good on ya for eating so healthy, I keep popping in here and reading what you've been eating and getting ideas for snacks and such to keep me away from my husband's junk food. :jump:

hey everyone thanks for the great support ... I really need it to keep going.

In contrast to yesterday being a wonderful day... I ended up barely sleeping last night. Since I've been on such a good kick I'm going to try and reverse my old habits when I don't get sleep... lots of heavy eating and crawling under the covers and scowling at anyone that comes near me LOL... instead I'm going to suck it up try and do my 2 hours at the gym and then go to class... then maybe some rest and scowling:)

Breakfast: one slice of whole wheat bread and a couple slices of turkey and some sort of fruit havn't figured it out I'm trying to get the turkey down now.

I'll let you know how it goes after the gym
I hope everyone has a good morning
~Jenna

Two hours at the gym down. 65 minutes on the treadmill on the hill setting one level up from what I did yesterday. It felt great!!! :jump: Then I spent an hour on abs and legs. I decided what I have to do is arms and legs on alternate days in order to have enough time.

The endorphins from the gym make me feel really awake now. Probably just enough to make it through class and then I'll crash later.

On the positive side my boyfriend said I looked smaller this morning!!! So listening to him I actually looked in the mirror in the gym and I really think I may look smaller... At least I didn't feel like crying when I looked in the mirror. Another bit of proof is that I put on one of my b/f's oversized shirts and it looked light a night gown on me... it was never tight on me but i could wear ... today I was swimming in it... i was a 3xl ... he's a big guy 6'4 and a lil overweight himself... and he doesn't like tight cloths. No more wearing his shirts to the gym.

After gym snack: yogurt

Sorry this was such a long post
I hope everyone has a wonderful afternoon
~Jenna

well done at the gym, splitting your workout between upper and lower body is a good idea, it means each of your muscles get an extra day recovery time while still working out every day.

I made it through the day... barely... but here I am still awake and with too much schoolwork to finish tonight as usual.

Food today: Breakfast was Slice of Whole Wheat Bread and Two Slices of Turkey and a Peach, yogurt after the gym, got a turkey sammich at school ripped most of the bread off so it was mostly just turkey and provolone cheese, Dinner was Grilled Chicken and a yam.

I didn't do so good with fruits and veggies today. I'm gonna try and get some fruit down before I fall asleep tonight.

Goodnight everyone... Hope you had a great day
~Jenna

Hi Jenna!
Wanted to wish you a good morning and to tell ya you're doing great. I'm excited about your weigh-in too. Good luck and drink tons of water!
Selena

Yay Jenna!!

Keep up the great work. You're doing awesome! :D
Everyone has their down days, but there's always tomorrow....
I know it's a fantastic feeling when people that know you're working hard to get fit and be healthy notice the change. Like it's a more honest compliment when they're not just trying to make you feel better. :)

Hello Everyone

Boy has it been a hectic day. I only had an hour and a half at the gym this morning because I had to meet with one of my professors. In that hour and a half I went 3.1 miles in 60 minutes on level 7 hills on the treadmill then did an ab workout. I actually really wanted to do more but I had to get to my appointment. I was in such a rush that I forgot to eat after the gym but I got a yogurt at school.

Thank you to everyone whose been stopping by my journal I really need the support and motivation. Having this journal really really makes me feel accountable not only to myself but to others... I don't want to let anyone down.

Food so far today: grapes and a couple of slices of turkey, a yogurt, chicken ceasar wrap (wiped off most of the dressing and didn't eat most of the wrap), watermelon

I hope everyone has a good day
I'll be back later
~Jenna

I have a conundrum for tomorrow morning. I want to go get my 2 hours in at the gym (it feels really good that I'm starting to do that consistently) but my car really needs to go in for 30,000 mile service. If I drop my car off in the morning I can't get to the gym. But if I go to the gym and then bring my car they may not have enough time for it tomorrow. I'm thinking the gym is more important.

Speaking of the gym I've been wearing my really old sneakers there that have no inside completely worn down peeling off bottoms because I don't want to ruin my new sneakers. I think I need to get gym sneakers.

For dinner tonight I had a steak sammich with lettuce, tomato, and onion. I also had raw carrotts. I love carrots... they are so yummy!!!

Have I been eating well????... I'm not sure... I'm trying really hard... i can't really do the counting calories thing... I would just freak out about it constantly....

Have a good night everyone,
~Jenna

You're killing the President's Challengehttp://weight-loss.fitness.com/club-challenges/13660-presidents-challenge.html ! (had to plug in that club challenge.. tee hee!) Have a great day tomorrow at the gym, Jenna!

Thanks for stopping by Sheryl!! The president's challenge rulezz:jump:

I've decided that I don't have the patience for the car dealership today and Kicking butt at the gym is much more important. So after breakfast off to the gym I go. However, all this means is that next week i'm going to have to make the same decision and the car dealership is gonna have to win (I'm screwed if my car gets messed up).

Breakfast today: ginger granola (so yummy) and a yogurt

Have a good morning everyone
